Long check out times. They do have produce which is great if you want to avoid the big box stores. Prices on fresh items are very good and you could easily get all your groceries here.

I love the dollar store and their prices and this one is well taken care of. My only complaint (not just this store but every Dollar Market I have been in) is they only keep one register open and there is always a line (usually a long one). They would be able to utilize their cashier better and make their customers happy if they would convert that main checkout register area to a self checkout area with 4 machines. They would still only need one cashier on duty but have 4 lines open. If they really wanted to make ALL their customers happy while saving on labor they could remove 2 register areas, setup the 4 self checkouts while having a mini register area for the cashier overseeing the self checkouts. That way if a customer who is not comfortable with self checkout came in they could still ring them up while over seeing the self checkouts. And if the mini register area did form a line along with people still using the self checkouts (I understand it could be difficult to watch multiple people checkout while cashing out a line of people) that is when they could call another cashier to the front to help oversee the self checkout registers while the person that was already there continues to cash out the line. To prevent a cashier for being overwhelmed they could easily create a rule stating no more than 2 customers in line for full service checkout. If 2 or more line up that is when backup needs to be called. (Its better for 2 people to wait than 10 and this way they would still have 4 other lines moving while the 2 customers waited for backup). Just my opinion. I'm sure this problem could also be solved by just having 2 registers open. (I just know how companies are about their labor.)

Great prices on groceries and other house hold items. Isles good and wide and never crouded with stock that needs to be put away. Good customer service and polite. Everyone is always helpful. I am not keen on the fresh bananas, onions, or tomatoes due to the fruit flies that are always buzzing around.

Always clean and can find what I'm looking for i occasionally wish better quality of items. Bought coffee maker there and it's not working properly so I will have to return it & it was the only model they had. I have purchased other items there and been thrilled with them.

The establishment was clean. They only had one cashier working when there should have been 2 or 3. The prices were more expensive than I thought they would have been. Although, I wasn't expecting to find fresh meats along with fresh vegetables there. I thought the prices were to high.

Had to wait for a manager to accept my digital coupon. All I was getting was laundry soap. Had to buy a soda separately to break the cash back I got . And that was counted out change before I gave her the change when I told her I had the change she proceeded to tell me it was too late. Very dissatisfied with customer service

Was in the self checkout and had a problem while trying to ring something up, so I pressed the little button that said “call for help” multiple times over the course of about 15 minutes and nobody assisted. Very dissatisfied with the lack of service.

Hands down this is the most organized and tidy DG I've ever shopped at. They always have the items on my list well stocked. Awesome customer service is the icing on the 🎂.

The cashier was not very nice . Found cat treats that was on sale for a dollar in the pet food area the sign stated they were regularly 3 dollars but sign below showed this item was a dollar. When we told him that they were a dollar and even showed him the signed in the pet aisle he told us it was wrong and pulled it off where it was placed on the shelf . This gentleman is always not friendly to us when go into that store.

Store is very well stocked as opposed to the non-Market stores, which I can't figure out, bur I know big box retailers and their promotions. They'll take over a back room. No excuse for the employees griping to customers about how much she hated her job. It's a shame they thinkthat that is cruel and unusual punishment.

Fairly decent selection but WAY understaffed.I love the convenience of it being close to home so I dont have to go all the way to Walmart, but literally any time I go in here, I am waiting in line for no less than 30 minutes, and the employees are really grumpy all of the time.

WATCH THIS PLACE, You have to have the Western Union App on your phone ONLY to collect a funds transfer! My Android phone could not access the app in the store, went to the local Ingles where the store counter could do the receipt of a funds transfer by the confirmation number on my email and my ID. They need to post a better sign or remove it all together at Dollar General. Not a user friendly place, after it took to clerks and the manager to tell me I needed the phone app! The store further East on E Emory is much friendlier, less busy, honest and helpful. I’m done with this one on Clinton Highway and West Emory!

Went to get a few things because the one on Raccoon valley rd. Doesn't have most things that u need. AN also the RACCOON VALLEY RD. Is not too friendly since the new manager took over. The people who worked there before he came there were more friendly

Dollar General Market has good meat and some are always on sale. They also have beers and seltzers on sale. Rarely very busy, but have to wait at check out too long.

While I was in the store two employees were discussing other coworkers work habits in a negative manner. As always never enough registers open on evening shift. Normally three employees outside smoking and one register open. As we were checking out the lady in front of me had an item she didnt want, so she told the cashier and she got all snooty about it and went to the next register and got on the intercom in a very grouchy voice called for someone to come get the item then finished the ladies transaction. The guy that came and got the item said well thats real nice when she handed it to him. The cashier then rang up my items never spoke to me until she said my total and that was grouchy and ill as well. I hate that I'm a paying customer who helps her get a paycheck by spending my hard earned money there to keep her a job. Second shift in this store is totally lacking customer service skills not one smiling face on an employee in the building.

A perfectly normal and usual experience that you’d expect from Dollar General. I can’t say that I would recommend it over another one. Also, try the coconut and chocolate cookies that are a knock off of the Girl Scout cookie of the same kind. I’d say they are just as delicious, maybe more, and far cheaper!!

Would have been 5 star but they just cant keep help at the one on clinton hwy always have to stand in line to pay for your stuff always only has 1 cashier to ring ppl up store always clean thou and the cashier that they do have are very nice
