SMG has been a great experience for me! Lisa and Mark introduced me to the sweetest puppy I got to bring home from one of their dogs’ litters. They took amazing care of my pup while she was with mom and provided excellent grooming services for her. Hattie was socialized well and became very comfortable with the grooming tools and experience, which is a credit to SMG’s care and attention when providing services. They were available when I had questions, and I am beyond thankful to have found them for my fur baby!

I'm not big on taking my dogs to get groomed but my experience with Lily ( I think was her name) n the others there were fabulous. I'll never take my dogs anywhere else. They were so playful n happy when I picked them up, unlike other places I've took them. Thank you to everyone working there for being patient and kind with them especially little Otis, he's scared of everything n I could tell he'd been treated right just by how he acted afterwards. Smokey Mountain Groomers are the BEST Thank y'all for such a wonderful experience.

Just called today last minute hoping to snag a cancellation. They worked with me to fit us in even though I didn’t have an appointment. These individuals are absolutely wonderful. You can immediately tell that they love their profession as soon as you walk in the door. My Yorkie Gizmo is still a puppy and can be very nervous and dramatic, but they were so kind and patient with him that he never made a peep. I cannot recommend these groomers enough to others, because I’m thankful that they were recommended to me.

I would give one star but since I've never talked to anybody or had any business dealings with this place I'm going to give them three. I have called many times over the last 2 weeks and left one very detailed message with my phone number, all I get is a recording saying their normal business hours are Tuesday through Saturday 10:00 to 8:00 and if I get this recording outside of normal business hours to leave a detailed message. I have gotten this recording every single time I have called during business hours, with no reply back to the detailed message I left. I'm going to go somewhere else since I've tried here for 2 weeks and cannot get any answer at all.

Our sweet boy got his first grooming today! Smoky Mountain Grooming is the best of the best. Turbo got a bath, hair and nails trimmed. These folks definitely know what they are doing when it comes to your fur baby. One of the cleanest dog grooming places I have been to. Very professional and friendly! The professionals at Smoky Mountain Grooming worked with us to secure an appointment and did the best job EVER on her. Hands down, the best experience for her and for us in the area. We took our two large rescue babies, a St. Bernard and a mix breed, Elise and Clyde here. Lisa and Mark took their time making sure our dogs were comfortable and groomed efficiently to our liking and to our fur babies comfort! I love that they allow the dogs to be air dried because it would’ve been too much for our big pups in this heat! We watched them first hand interact with our dogs and do part of the grooming. I love that they are not forceful in anyway but are very patient and loving when they were grooming and bathing our fur babies! I cannot imagine anyone having any issues with Lisa and Mark at Smokey Mountain Groomers! They’re the best around! We will be using them from now one!

I took Jack my schnoodle here today for his first grooming ever and he looks great! They did a amazing job on him and gave him lots of love and attention. When we left they all were loving on him telling him bye. I will definitely be bringing Jack back. He loved all the attention. I'm sure he will love coming back. They all were nice and polite and very understanding about him not ever being to a groomer. Thank you guys Jack looks amazing.

I am going to have to knock that 5* rating down. I took my two toy poodles to get a bath and groom. I was very disappointed. They keep the four hours, then we had to call them to see what was taking so long. My poodles will not be back. They are a JOKE.

Took my fur baby for his first visit today. They are absolutely amazing. If you call and they don’t answer it is because they are giving their attention to someone else’s baby. They will get back with you. Highly recommend giving them a try. My baby looks amazing and was very happy.

Biscuit was way overdue for a grooming. I was able to get in quickly for an appt, was offered an earlier one that I was unable to take. They took such good care of Biscuit and he looked so good when I picked him up!! You could tell he was well taken care of while I was gone!

All I can say is these guys are fantastic! They are very professional, very friendly and accommodating. They take their time with your dog to make sure it is groomed the way you want it to be. Sometimes it can take 3 or 4 hours because they air dry they do not use a handheld dryer, which depending on the size of the dog could take 1 1/2 hours or longer. I have no problem with this. As long as my dog is groomed correctly, I'm good to go! Love you guys and so does Jazz!!

Squeaky is a timid Boston mix, rescued off the road. She doesn't take to new people or experiences easily. After a few nail filings in the hammock at Smokey Mt Grooming, she's now comfortable with the process. They're patient folks, and if she's happy with 'em, I'm happy!

What a wonderful groomer we have in our Newport area. They did an amazing job on our Australian Shepard!❤️ We received such caring service. Our pup is a lil scared and he came out of their place with no anxiety issues at all. Would highly recommend them to everyone! Thank you Mark n Lisa. Lisa and Mark are WONDERFUL!!! I called them last minute after waiting over 30 mins at a vet office for a nail trim (that I made an appointment for!) They got my two beagles right in and were super sweet and loving to my furkids. Especially my 12 yr old that’s a little slow and whiny. They explained about the nail trims and why they use the file and not the clippers. They truly care about the animals in their care and I would give them 10 stars if it was an option! So from a very hard to impress and very judgmental fur mama…. This team gets a raving review from me! Lisa and Mark thank you so much and see ya soon!

They treated my little doggy like the princess she is!! They were so kind and gentle with her. She used to hate going to the groomer, and she would mope and shake all day after. Not here! She came home and was playful as ever! They also explained some at home options to help care for her better between grooms! All around, great experience! We will be back over and over!!

Amazing groomer with above and beyond service! I brought my girls in today, both cockapoos, small dogs. My old girl is deaf and blind and was having issues with a new groomer, place, and not really being able to understand what was going on due to her decreased senses. These groomers took their time with her and made sure they did as thorough of a job as possible given the circumstances. They also took great care to make sure they didn't nick any of her skin tags, which is something that happens as this breed ages. I couldn't be more impressed! I'm new to Newport and have tried two other groomers that just weren't going to work out. My girls have found a forever grooming home!
