truly one of my favorite businesses in town! dani the owner + all her staff have created the absolute cutest space to grab all the essentials, and then some. walking into TMDC is like an instant serotonin boost for humans, and they always treat furry guests like royalty. my dog, George, is obsessed with this space, their staff, their treats, and their toys, and I love how they treat him whenever he walks inside. I trust their recommendations and products so much, knowing they’re fully researched and well thought-out. supporting local always feels right, but especially at a place like this! 🐶🐾

I stopped by this cute little place after work and I was not disappointed! It’s stylish, trendy, and modern as the name implies. There are many healthy and interesting treats to choose from (for example, freeze dried duck necks and homemade dog cookies). The gear is hip and creative. There are numerous, safe and robust toys to choose from. There is a nice selection of refrigerated food and treats. There are even artwork and clothing options to browse through. On top of all of that, the owner was helpful, attentive, generous, and friendly! I absolutely love the modern dog Co. they started off with functional leashes that’s re easy to clean and transitioned I to a shop. Luckily, the shop was located down the street from my house in the nations. This made it very convenient to snag any item I need. They have an incredible variety of healthy foods, but also added supplements and nutrition for your dog. This means the world toMe as a n owner of a very active 13yo chocolate lab. Aside from the food and nutrition they have A huge selection of toys that is unmatched in our area. Now, the icing on the cake is the fact that the ownership and workers all are dog owners and have a vast knowledge of all the products they sell. Which makes this place a pleasure to be a patron of. I am so happy they are thriving! They are incredible. If you have a dog stop by and take a look!

I bought a leash in march and the hardware broke. The Modern Dog Co was very quick to send me a new leash free of charge with their new hardware that locks into place! Gibs and I love it!

Highly recommend shopping at this adorable pet store in the nations! The owner is very knowledgeable and helpful when shopping for your dog! My husband and I are first time dog owners and she was able to supply us with everything we needed for our pup! She also informed us about awesome new products and gave great advice! Great little independent neighborhood store! I’ve been taking my corgis there for Tuesday nail trims in collaboration with The Cooperative Canine, which is convenient. They have a cart of snack samples so we can try before we buy while we wait for the other pup to be finished. And a free pup cup after the nail trim! The dogs love the dog height bins that they can sniff and explore. They focus on the more wholesome foods and treats which we like. 👍

My dog Maverick and I absolutely love shopping here! From treats, vitamins and supplements and great quality products that aren’t mainstream and have great ingredients to clothing apparel and accessories for me, this store has everything you could need for pet and owner. We love the owner, Dani and the other workers too and we have had a great experience every time we go in! Definitely recommend

This is the best dog store in all of Nashville and by far the cleanest/cutest! They carry the coolest dog accessories that I have a hard time finding anywhere else and their food selection is great for all natural/healthy options! There's also a English bulldog that hangs out there sometimes that's the coolest dog in the neighborhood! His name is Shakespeare, make sure to say hi if you catch him!
