Worst experience they injured my dog and send my dog home without telling me. PLEASE READ and be careful with your pups. On May 18, 2023, my two dogs were attended to at Spot Pet Supply. The groomer, arrived late and didn't come out to receive my dogs. I had to call her later to discuss the services. They didn't even have the decency to call me and ask how we wanted our dogs to be groomed. When my husband brought the dogs home, Martina started limping in pain and leaving bloodstains everywhere. We realized that she had a cut on her paw. I immediately went to the grooming business and asked the girl what happened. She claimed that she didn't notice anything, but it's completely untrue because she bled all over the floor of my house. I can't imagine how much she bled at the time of the cut. I quickly took her to Hillsboro Animal Hospital, where she received emergency care. After the medical intervention, I brought the receipt to the business, and the manager said they would speak to the head manager and reimburse me for the medical expenses. May 25, 2023, and I had to go to Green Hills Spot Pet Supply again to ask for a resolution to this situation. They couldn't resolve it because they were not informed about the situation, and there was no manager present. They told me to go to the East Nashville location where the manager or owner was present and could help me. I had to drive for approximately 30 minutes, but when I arrived, there was no manager or owner. I told the lady to call the manager because I need to resolve this problem. I've started to think that the owners and manager are avoiding me to avoid resolving the issue. Approximately after 5 weeks and me calling every week and fighting through emails they finally pay the veterinary bill. Be careful with your pups! They are irresponsible!

NEVER take your dog here! If I could give them zero stars I would. Dropped off my dog in the morning and when I got him back in the afternoon he was acting very strange. Later that night he was choking every time he ate. He started to dry heave often and cry because he was in pain. Once symptoms started progressing I rushed him to the emergency vet. We went to Williamson county and they told me that the thing they had around his neck was too tight and they bruised his throat. He had to go on a few meds to get better and so that he could eat without choking on his food. Spent a lot of money taking him to the vet over spots having the rope around his neck too tight. Don’t recommend because they take the worst care of you’re dogs. Oh and spent a lot of money on a TERRIBLE haircut😭

Picked up my dog and he was completely traumatized. Explicitly instructed them not to shave any part of our bernese mountain dog at all and they shave his entire private area resulting in extreme discomfort. Did not follow instructions.

I dropped my dog off at 9:30 am for grooming and usually she is done around 1 pm so I called at 2 pm to check on her and they said no dogs are ever there past 4 so I came at 4 pm and they had not even started cutting her hair yet. Austin said “we close at 6 so suggest coming back then” at this point I’m upset that my dog has been there 7 hours in a cage without food, water, walks so I wanted to get her from this traumatizing day. They still charged me $95 for shampoo without cutting her hair like she needed. If the groomers are overbooked and cant accommodate a pet for 8 hours they should call and communicate that so we can reschedule but 8 hours without getting to my dog’s hair cut and leaving her there all day is unacceptable. After being a repeat customer for years this experience and the lack of service I will never go back. My dog was shaking when I got her. Leaving a dog there miserable from 9:30 am - 6 pm for a haircut is absurd! I would never recommend anyone that cares about the health of your baby go here. The customer service is horrible and they don’t treat the dogs well.

Been here a few times. The first couple cuts weren't perfect (missed spots, uneven, etc.) but I liked the prices and that I could typically book only a few days in advance. This last time however, they cut my pup's neck really badly, made a mess glueing it up and then didn't tell me about it when I picked her up. I only discovered the wound when I took her collar off the next day and felt it by accident. Upon closer inspection, there were little minor cuts in several other places and a 'razor burn' looking situation on her sanitary areas. Tried calling to resolve the issue but have yet to receive a call back. I understand that accidents happen but this is ridiculous and on top of that, to not tell me about it is unacceptable. I definitely will not be bringing my dog back here.

My wife takes my dog there regularly for grooming and bath, and over the past year service has gone downhill. Staff in the front desk is the worse: unresponsive and uncaring. Communication is absent and one has to guess when to pick the dog up as they don’t call when the dog is ready, nor pick up the phone. Their website is terrible and inaccurate, making it hard to schedule and confirm appointments. After 5 years of service, we are ready to part ways even if it is going to be inconvenient to find a place farther away. The hassle is not worth it.

I cannot emphasize this enough - do NOT bring your pet here. My friend’s dog sat in a cage for nearly 7 hours with an open, bleeding wound (at the hands of the groomer) and she was not notified, despite her calling several times to check in. On top of that, he was never groomed. Absolutely do not bring your pet to this establishment.

Drop off on Saturday is from 10-11. Had an appointment came in at 11:07 and said she couldn’t take my dog. I understand if this was a walk in but I had an appointment….so your number of pets should be set for that day. Not sure what a 7 min delay has to do with anything. Especially fighting unpredictable traffic down Hillsboro. Also they didn’t offer to reschedule the appointment! Rude! Will not be coming back again!

Great experience at the Green Hills location getting pet supplies for my cat. Owner was present and made sure to introduce himself and inform me that he could order what I needed if they did not currently supply it.

Terrible experience at this location. I scheduled a grooming appointment for 8 15am only to sit outside in my car for 45 minutes because they don't open until 9am, which made me late for work. Rather than apologize and try to resolve the problem, the worker that opened the store got offended that me and another customer were frustrated their online booking system was inaccurate. He threatened to not take our dogs for their appointment, call his manager and was extremely rude. I tried to contact a manager to understand the booking issue, but never got a response. I will never go back and advise others to stay away unless you want terrible customer service.

I was a sitter for my neighbors mini Aussie and she had her first grooming experience with Houston. She looked so good her parents have kept that up!I got a rehomed mini Aussie of my own now and I will take him to be groomed by Houston at Spot’s also.

We have regular appointments here for havanese for baths and grooming. While our dog is never pleased to be going there, she is always well taken care of. We've had bad experiences with other groomers. The fact she looks cute aftwr and they always let me know if they think she has an ear infection or any other problem is great. Nice assortment of merchandise also.

The owner here is so friendly and awesome with a big heart! Also, great sales and prices, went here today to get Christmas pjs for my dog and ended up with so much for such a great price, the Christmas clothes are 50 off! BEWARE... BEWARE...I had been a regular customer at Spot's. Bonnie was my groomer. Last summer I took my girls in for a groom. I have morkies. Zoey and Bella. They developed kennel cough after the groom. We went to the vet. The girls only go out side to go to the restroom. And on short walks in the neighborhood. Never have contact with other dogs. The vet said the probable chance was at Spot's. I have been in contact with CHAD one of the owners since last year. I only ask him to pay for the vet visit and the medicine. He has refused. Please be careful doing business with them. And if you need Bonnie for grooming. She is at Miss Kitty's.

WOW! Best grooming service I have ever received! Laura groomed my traumatized cocker spaniel and she looks beautiful! My family even told me this was her best haircut yet! Laura had quite her work cut out for her, as my pup had a terrible previous grooming experience at another groomer about a few months before. Laura blocked off extra time, and gave my girl her undivided attention so that my dog could feel as comfortable as possible. Not only this but Laura was sure to take my dog as her first appointment, and finished up in just two and a half hours so that my dog could come home as quickly as possible and not be scared. Now, how about THAT for customer service!I had been going to Miss Kitty's for almost 4 years now, but unfortunately, the last time I went they cut my dog's stomach in multiple places, and she was bleeding when i picked her up. Not only is this alarming, but the customer service was terrible. They called me to let me know my dog was ready, 8 hours after I dropped her off, and when I arrived she wasn't even cut and was locked in a crate. I had to wait 45 minutes for her to be ready. Obviously, i was most concerned about the cuts along her stomach, but to make matters worse, the haircut was choppy and uneven, and one set of eyelashes were cut off, the others still there.Needless to say, I am relieved I have found a new groomer that exceeds my expectations! They genuinely care about the comfort of your animal- something I never really felt was important at Miss Kitty's.Thank you, Laura! We will see you very soon!

The groomer Laura and all staff!! Laura is the best. She's groomed my shiatsu since he was a pup. She knows her stuff. He always looks handsome.She also treats him well and has that bond of trust! The store is excellent and well stocked and super nice.

the first time we took my dog there, she got a razor cut on the sensitive skin area near her groin and they didn’t tell us and the third time we took her there she came back crying with her right eye twitching and being closed all day. overall, i don’t think this store cares a lot about the pets that they groom and i definitely don’t think they’re being gentle. i would absolutely never come here again or ever trust your beloved pet in a place like this.

I usually go to the East Nashville location where Michelle does an AMAZING job with our dog, but we went to the Bandywood Location this morning as it's closer to our new house to have our dog groomed. I specifically told Bonnie (Groomer) not to shave her (she's an aussie) but just to trim her body hair, and specifically said "not a buzz cut". After I paid, they brought her out and she has a full on buzz cut that will take months to grow back. The exact thing i asked her not to do. I could also hear people in the back yelling very sternly at Sage to stop barking when we went in to pick her up. Very disappointed and will not be visiting this location again. UPDATE: The manager contacted me and thankfully gave me a full refund.

$184 to shave my dog and they’ve yet to respond to ANY of my inquiries asking for my receipt. It would be better if they’d agree to show me WHY they charged me that, but instead they ignore me. Avoid this place if you can.

We are grateful for Janelle who shampoos my golden doodle. He loves going to see her. She treats him with such love and care. He has a tendency to get hotspots with his sensitive skin. She goes above and beyond to make sure he is ok. Yesterday, she introduced me to a wonderful spray that deters him from itching. Words can not express how incredible Janelle is. She is so humble and doesn't feel comfortable with praise but she is so deserving. I can tell that she loves her work and she loves taking care of animals. Also, Hollin grooms our dog and he always counsels me on what is best for his cut depending on the season. We adore our dog and his care is so important to us. I have 100% faith in Janelle and Hollin. Thank you.

Dropped my dog off here for grooming. She's a fluffy long hair mix. She was there for several hours; much longer than they previously had told me she would be there.When i picked her up, she was 100% drugged. I have no idea on what- she's taken Benadryl before and it wasn't that. It was horrible- she was on an extremely strong sedative. She also was acting completely traumatized and scared which was very unusual. As the drugs eventually started to wear off, she began vomiting. This is my dog- i know what behaviors are normal and not normal. I called the company to report this and they instantly were defensive with me, super cold and saying they'd never heard of anything like this before and i probably just wasn’t used to her behaviors.Not trying to make assumptions here but it very much seemed like a defensive move by someone who'd obviously heard this kind of complaint several times before.The next day my dog was back to normal, even more evidence that she had clearly been given a sedative.Since taking my dog here i learned there are multiple lawsuits opened against this place. The owners are from here and have an awful reputation. The community is calling for the close of the business.I highly suggest taking your animal anywhere else. Please be careful as animals have actually DIED in their care. Do your research and go somewhere else.

I am terrible at clipping dog nails, thus I get in trouble with the vet always. Now the boys go to Spots. We’ve had different groomers but each has been extremely attentive, especially with our nervous nancy, Jake, who is afraid of everything. Keeping appointments can be difficult in our family, so when I found out I was able to call ahead and then walk-in, again in heaven!! If you haven’t tried Spots you need to.
