This office is well run - never overcrowded, never a long wait, both vets I’ve seen are so nice and they spend a lot of time with me and my dogs. I really love the chat feature- makes it very convenient to ask a non-urgent OR urgent question. You rate the level of urgency for your question/issue, can send pics if needed, and save yourself an expensive office visit. Of course if they feel it’s important to have the pet seen, they’ll tell me. But I love this option!! They’re really great.

Always helpful and take such good of our 130 pound baby. They always know when we arrive in the parking lot because his bark & moans and groans are so loud. They are so patient with our boy & can settle him down fast. Everytime he has had a health issue he is examined and cared for. All of the doctors and technicians are great, especially Dr. Strange. Highly recommend this group of fine veterinarians & associates.

This is the second year I take my dog to Harpeth Hills Animal Hospital and I'm so glad I found them. The doctors and staff are very caring and don't push unnecessary exams or services. Jennifer is awesome! She explained everything to me including charges before my dog had her physical exam. Dr. Wehby tried my dog like if it was his own. I highly recommend this animal hospital!

Don’t take your pet here. The reviews seemed too good to be true when I booked an annual exam for my dog. Upon calling I let them know my dog gets extremely anxious at the vet and will be on a mild sedative upon coming in. When we arrived for our appointment I let the tech and doctor know that my dog is anxious and can be reactive due to previous bad experiences and to stay away from touching the back side of his body. My comments were immediately dismissed and they attempted to give my dog his vaccinations in his back leg after I specifically told them twice that he was going to react and freak out if they went near his hind legs. Well, they did it anyways then started making dramatic comments about how my dog almost bit them (he had a muzzle on for everyone’s safety) even though I warned them multiple times that wouldnt work. The issue here is that the vet himself feels that treating animals is a one size fits all approach and after immediatelyIgnoring my comments and then immediately losing my dogs trust acted like my dog was the problem. Had they just listened to what I said and how we could make him as comfortable as possible this wouldn’t have happened. But at the end of the day, the dr. Made a point to make it seem like I’m the bad owner instead of finding a solution to assist with helping my dog overcome his fear of going to the vet. He is fine everywhere else other than the vet so this is clearly from past trauma. The only solution the doctor gave us was to sedate him even more! He didn’t even bother to try and assist with alternative methods yet just went right to prescribing more drugs as if that’s a solution for everything.

Harpeth Hills is the absolute best! My dog, Sarah, has a blood disorder that requires continual monitoring, so we spend a lot of time here. All of the vets and techs are amazing. Dr. Wehby is her primary vet and he always gives her the best care. His attention to detail and ability to see trends in her blood work and personality goes beyond my expectations. The front desk and techs are always extremely excited to see Sarah and have made it so she is now comfortable at the vet! I recommend Harpeth Hills Animal Hospital to anyone.

They have always taken amazing care of our cats. One of our cats had a really bad vet experience and I was worried she’d always be like that. They took their time and she had no issues. Love this place!

The staff at Harpeth Hills Animal Hospital are amazing. I switched both my pets over to them a few years ago, and not once have they ever given me a single reason to complain. The support staff (techs ect) are kind, understanding, and helpful. They put great effort into the care of my two girls. As for the veterinarians, the 2 that I have seen over the years have been heads and shoulders above other vets I have used in the past. Very knowledgeable with a great bedside manner not only for my pets, but with me as well. In my opinion they along with their entire staff have gone above and beyond when it comes to the care for 2 furry members of my family.They also have their own app which is actually quite helpful, and easy to use for a number of different tasks including earning points for savings on visits.I couldn't be happier with them being my pets healthcare provider. If you're in the market for a new vet I highly recommend you check Harpeth Hills Animal Hospital out.

Our girl has never been a fan of visiting the vet, but Dr. Strange and the staff at Harpeth Hills have consistently ensured that she is as comfortable (and adored) as possible. They were able to squeeze us in when our dog had an urgent issue at the end of a busy work day. Dr. Strange devoted his full attention to examining her and thoroughly explained his treatment recommendations (i.e. what evidence is in the literature, what he's seen anecdotally in his own practice, etc.). He and the HH staff put us at ease during a stressful time. Thanks for keeping our girl healthy and her best self!

We have trusted this practice with our dogs since we moved to Nashville years ago. They are tops in care. Everyone from the receptionist to the vets are compassionate and empathetic. We are so thankful that we have found a vet that we absolutely love and that made us feel so cared for! Not only did Dr. Strange care for our dog with such tender care he also acknowledged my kids and made them feel like a part of the appointment! He gave them coloring books and they were over the moon. I am so glad our friends referred us to Dr. Strange because we had a very bad experience at a prior vet and it feels so good to find our place!

This veterinary clinic is fantastic! I've taken 5 of my babies there so far and have had appointments with Dr. K, Dr. Strange, and Dr. Wehby. They are each outstanding and give the kindest, gentlest care. I see the same friendly faces of the support staff each time we go there, and there's a great feeling of calm and compassionate continuity of care there. They also have a rewards program which works out super well for me having multiple pets. The kind and friendly service starts on the phone when making your initial appointment and carries through to all aspects of your time with their staff. I drive an extra 10 miles to see them, passing 2 closer vets, because of the soothing vibe in their clinic, and the friendly, professional staff feels like family. I've taken my guys in for routine well care visits/vaccines, sick visits, and even a heart ultrasound (they detected a heart murmur that has gone undetected by previous vets!), and the quality of care is consistent and loving. I can't give a higher recommendation for Harpeth Hills Animal Hospital and their incredible staff!

My go to Vet. My dog has Addison's disease and has to get a monthly shot, I used to give it to him at home but after it started to get more difficult I started taking him here, they're not only affordable but very good with my dog. Can't recommend them enough 👍

If it were possible to give negative stars, that's what would happen here. This review pertains to the kennel operation and manager and not necessarily the vet. We boarded our 11-month-old yellow lab for six days in late November 2017. Upon picking her up she was visibly much skinnier than we'd left her, and my mom was returned the full bag of food that had been left for her to eat over six days. When she asked the front desk attendant about this, she said she could get the kennel manager if she wanted to speak with her, which of course my mom did. The kennel manager basically shrugged and said something along the lines of "Yes, sometimes they don't like to eat. We tried to give her some wet food, but she didn't want it." Not once was my family called, emailed, texted, etc. over the six days to inform us that she wasn't eating / try and find a solution for her to eat, but that’s not the worst part.At this point my mom took our dog out to our car. Once they were in the car, my mom found an open, infected wound on our dog’s elbow. Picture attached. In tears at this point, my mom goes back in to ask the kennel manager what happened. Again, she was met with an "I don't care" attitude and something along the lines of "Well they sleep on concrete and sometimes they get themselves worked up, so that's probably what happened." This wound was open and clearly infected and not treated whatsoever – who knows how long it had been like that. It seems apparent that no one was paying attention to the animals in their care. They instructed my mom to bring the dog back in and they’d have the vet take a look at it. Which she responded that there was no way they were going to get our dog back into the building. A vet tech came out to the car and confirmed that it was an infection. We had to leave her there to have the vet clean and treat it. When my mom went to pick her up they ushered her into another room, not wanting her to talk to the gentleman dropping his dog off for the kennel. The vet informed her that he’d not known about any of this taking place and treated our dog at no cost for the wound on her elbow (we still had to pay half the kennel costs). I write this review to warn other pet owners of what could take place at this kennel and in the hopes that the kennel manager’s work and practices are VERY carefully reviewed. This shouldn’t have happened, and I hope won’t happen to anyone else.

We love Harpeth Hill Animal Hospital. The staff is super friendly and treats your animals just like you would. We have been going to them for 8 years. Very knowledgeable and helpful whenever we have had any issues with our dogs. We know they are good when my dogs want to go inside. We also get our dogs groomed at this location. Nancy does a wonderful job. Thanks guys for being so awesome!

They provided great recommendations and medical advice. With COVID as well, it was great to see their commitment to your own health by doing curbside service. Absolutely phenomenal. The best vet hospital I have been to! The staff and Dr. Strange are so warm and welcoming. I came to Dr. Strange for a second opinion about my cat recently diagnosed with diabetes and my other old, very sick cat. Dr. Strange wasn't just kind, he was encouraging about the treatment for my diabetic cat. He guided me through the death of my ailing cat with compassion and support, and I will be forever grateful to him and his staff for that.The facility is clean and inviting. I am so thankful that I have found such a wonderful treatment facility for my current and future fur babies.

Dr. Strange and staff have taken very good care of my dog Pete since I moved here two years ago. They were always very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful with any situation. When it came time to put him down two weeks ago they went above and beyond. They were very respectful of the situation and my feelings and made both of us comfortable. When I went to pick up his ashes they had made a mold of his pawprint shaped into a heart. Then a few days later in the mail I received a sympathy card signed by Dr. Strange and all of the staff. I can't describe how nice those two things were and how they made me feel but it really showed how much they care. If any of them are reading this, from the bottom of my heart, thank you.

My fiancé and I have using Harpeth Hills Animal Hospital for over 4 years now to treat our two golden retrievers (age 4 and 12). Dr. Strange is by far the best vet I have ever had the pleasure of working with.He is very personable, helpful and knowledgeable. I have worked in several vet hospital across the US and this is one of THE best vets I have ever been to. Everyone from the receptionists, techs and doctor are extremely professional and on point. Dr. Strange is extremely talented and genuinely loves this patients. The clinic is sparse and basic but there is everything you need to care for your pet. I highly recommend.

Dr. Strange, Dr. Webby, and staff are all amazing. They take the time to get to know each pet's unique needs, so can handle our cat who turns from super sweet to vicious/angry during any examination. The assistants (and a special thank you to Jennifer!) sit on the floor with her to calm her and help her relax before doing anything else. It makes a big difference for her and us. They also handle our skittish rescue dog perfectly. We are so happy to have found this team to care for our pets after moving to Nashville!

Dr. Strange was always very friendly at each visit. We have never been there for anything out of the ordinary, just wellness checks and vaccinations, so I cannot speak to his expertise in such cases. The one time we needed to come in the same day was when our older Aussie had a ruptured anal gland. Called in the morning but they told us they wouldn't be able to see him until several business days later.When we really needed the vet, he wasn't available, so we've been going somewhere else ever since.
