An absolute must if you have never been. Excellent discount prices on everything from furniture to household items. Always a great bargain. Staff is knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. If you are in the area often check back frequently as items change constantly. Highly recommended!

A few weeks ago my parents drove an hour to Murfreesboro to look for a bathroom vanity and they found one here. They asked the staff if they could hold the vanity a few days and staff said they do not hold items. My parents went back a few days later to pick it up. The same vanity had a sign saying "on Hold for customer". Staff said this customer was coming from out of state so they were holding it for him. This greatly upset my family that also drove to pick up this item when they were told it couldn't be held for them.

This place is awesome. The quality of their furniture and other merchandise is the best. Yes you can go somewhere else and shop. But their customer service and prices can’t be beat. Every location I’ve visited is great. Phillip and staffing the Murfreesboro /Smyrna location are all great. Thank y’all so much.

Amazing deals! I loved the music playing in the store, the Bible verses displayed throughout, a prayer request box, and they are closed on Sundays. The employees are very nice and helpful. They offered a 25% discount for veterans for veterans day this year. That's very generous. ❤️

I recently was looking at getting a new grill and narrowed my list down to two. I decided to stop by Yard Sale and wouldn’t you know it they had one of the grills I wanted with only a minor cosmetic dent at a fraction of its original cost. I bought it and even was able to get additional percentage off because of some other minor issues. Once I got home I did a thorough inspection and discovered two crucial components of the grill were missing. I traveled back to the store and asked if they may have misplaced them. After searching they were unable to find the parts but told me to buy them and they would reimburse me, which they did. Now I have a fantastic grill! I don’t post too many reviews but I wanted to show my appreciation to the customer service I was shown. Greeted with smiles and easy to work with. Thank you to the staff!

I recently saw an advertisement on FB Marketplace for The Yard Sale Store. Not being familiar with the store, my husband and I decided to stop by this past Saturday. What we found was great deals BUT we were underwhelmed by the lack of customer service. We were initially helped by a cashier who seemed bothered by our request for assistance. We patiently waited for more than 20 minutes while watching him continue to ring up other customers. While waiting another floor representative (who I later learned was named Al) walked past us several times without offering assistance. Eventually I went up to the register to ask the same cashier if he would be able to help us. He said he would get to us soon and continued to prioritize other customers. I eventually caught the attention of another floor representative, Carla. Carla was prompt to assist us and researched pricing. While she was assisting us, Al approached Carla and very sarcastically said that he could assist. Carla addressed him and carried on with the transaction. The transaction was finalized and we were waiting for approval to load the furniture. Al was passing by and we asked if it would be ok to load our items since we had already paid. He seemed bothered by our request and responded, "Carla made the sale so she can assist with loading." I was surprised by his response and at the lack of teamwork. While we waited Al came back to the area where we were to assist another customer. Unfortunately what initially appeared to be sarcasm from him was validated by a derogatory comment he made about us to another customer. Eventually Carla came back with another employee to assist. She apologized for the delay and encouraged us to return to the store for any future needs.My rating is based on the lack of customer service, teamwork and Al's lack of professionalism and diversity awareness.

I don’t usually stop in consignment stores, bargain centers, good wills, etc. I don’t enjoy digging through an isle full of unorganized chaos. However I’ve heard from a family member about the store here so I decided to see for myself. I was impressed. I was greeted as I walked in, it wasn’t an overwhelming mess, the manager Olivia was friendly with my daughter and was also very helpful getting me a deal on a brand new item. I appreciated the hospitality and I will definitely return!

EXCEPTIONAL business and staff. I tend to shop at both stores and the auction house before buying at the big box stores. The prices are at least 40-70% off. It's insane to shop anywhere else first. Just today I bought a kitchen aid spiral attachment for 50% off it was cheaper than bargain hunt and I didn't have to go by some crazy date scheme. They go the extra step and look up the car parts and label them. They take the extra step other store's leave up to you. I love shopping here! The staff and ownership are excellent!

We were just there today and they had stuff way over priced! A dresser had a cracked leg, chipped corners and scratches and they still wanted $350 for it !! Um no! I can go down the street and buy a brand new one for that price at FMO ! Heck even their floats are over priced ! Wont be back very disappointed.

Got to say this is my favorite place to shop. They get new items in every week, from home improvement fixture, furniture, sporting equipment. You never know what you are going to see when visiting.The staff is very friendly. Olivia has gone above and beyond every time we have visited. She and the rest of the staff treat the customers with the highest level of respect while maintaining a friendly and personal relationship. I will be coming to this store on a weekly basis.

I recently bought a really beautiful headboard and footboard at an unbelievably great price. I paid Philip, one of the managers, to deliver it to my house and take it upstairs to the room where I needed it. It came in 4 parts—headboard, footboard, and 2 legs. As I put it together, it became apparent that the holes for bolts on one of the legs were not drilled correctly and could not be matched to the holes in the headboard. When I explained the problem to Philip he immediately offered to come back and get the bed for no extra delivery fee and give me a full refund. I will definitely continue to be a regular shopper at Yard Sale USA in Murfreesboro.Great prices, Superior Service; Friendly People!!

Some deals to be had, but significantly less than there used to be. They used to start reducing prices after a month or so but now that they no longer reduces the price, and there aren't hardly as many deals because of that. Some items that are new but a significant amount are used. Be sure to check the packaging to ensure that it matches the contents. Several times an item that would have been worth hundreds actually had junk worth a couple of dollars instead.

I purchased what seemed to be an amazing quality sectional today 10/20/2020 - Bought it. Brought it home. Sat the sofa down and the back leg snapped off. Turned the sofa over to investigate further and the batting along the bottom was ratty and tore up. Very unhappy. If you know there is prior damage, please make a disclosure to customers before they pay nearly $800 for an item that’s tore up.

The name leads you to believe they are a store that maybe sells 2nd hand items or the like. (Obviously) my husband and I had never heard of them before, so we went in.The place is a poorly stocked resale/close out lot store. 3/4 of the store is busted stuff that people seem to buy "to get by" on. Granted, I thought this was going to be like a Salvation Army or goodwill, but when I realized it wasnt & really looked around it was even more disappointing. Vanities with broken glass on the floor, or missing doors...ripped open heaps of boxes with nothing in them..what a joke.

I went into this place the other day for the first time and I loved it! Jimmy walked buy and asked if we were finding everything ok (I guess I looked confused lol) and we ended up talking for several minutes. We are pulling up our floor and want to paint the concrete and was just looking for a paint sprayer, paint and etc...he was nice! He was VERY helpful and helped me alot...Thanks Jimmy!... Infact, the staff overall was awesome! I love the Bible quotes around the store! Very clean and a peaceful atmosphere! I will definitely go back! Ps- iphone cases for $1 and plastic gaylord bins full of miscellaneous items for only $3 each...#mynewfavoritestore 😝

Hodge podge of resale items at a ridiculous markup. This is definitely not a bargain place unless they label something Miscellaneous. We would find multiples of the same item all priced differently. However we were quite surprised to find they sold even large sized water heater tanks in the back of the store!

Poor experience. Found an item at a great deal. When I tried to purchase I was told the item wasn’t priced correctly and they refused to honor there pricing error. They admitted to the error but wouldn’t do anything to honor it. You’ve lost a repeat customer and I’ll certainly share my experience with all that will listen.

They do NOT check their email regularly. If you have found something on their Craigslist ad, don't count on being able to send an email purchase it. I sent an email at 9 pm stating that I would like to purchase a Craigslist item, they replied at 11 the next day with "I'm sorry, we just sold that". Lackluster business practices.

This place is amazing y'all. Such friendly staff and the products are so nice and organized! I honestly choose to go there first when shopping mostly bc of the great items and deals but also bc the employees are so personable and helpful!!
