They always do such a great job with our dog, Charlotte. Anytime we take her other places she shakes with fear because she doesn’t want to go. But at Safari, she actually gets a little bit excited. Even though we live out of state now, we take her there when we’re in town.

I took my schnauzer to Safari Pet Resort for her first grooming and was totally surprised. I thought Nicky would give them a rough time and maybe even be one they could not groom. The groomer took her time and gave her breaks when she needed them. When I picked her up she was beautiful. So glad I took her there. Will definitely take her back. Thanks Safari Pet Resort.

I’ve been taking my dogs here for over a decade. Recently my new puppy. They love going and have a great time and come home nice and tired. The staff are friendly and seem to genuinely love the animals.

I can’t say enough good things about Safari Pet Resort. My dog Daisy loves the staff here and gets so excited when we arrive in the morning for doggy day camp. The staff are awesome and truly care about your pet. We are sad we have to move away but would recommend Safari Pet Resort to anyone.

Safari Pet Resort is AMAZING! Our pup loves it here! The staff is so friendly and really cares about each furbaby. We have been going for a little over 2 years.They do crafts for holidays. They have a salt water pool when it's hot. We love Laney as our groomer. There is a video with our pup getting the blueberry facial scrub on facebook and instagram.When we go out of town, our pup is boarded with them. We love the boarding because we get updates and we know he will have a chance to play and socialize while we are gone. He could not be in better hands! We love this place!

I have taken my boy Duncan the Poodle here since he was 12 weeks old. He has grown up with the staff here and has only been groomed by Miss Jody. She is AWESOME and I love the front office staff as well. Very friendly, flexible, and just an all around amazing experience. I wouldn't trust my boy Duncan with anyone else but the staff at Safari!My boy Duncan deserves the best and he gets the best every 4 weeks. He comes back looking great, feeling great, and I know he is in good hands with everyone there!

I love that they don’t put cats to sleep while shaving them. Devon is always great with my male cat (even though my cat is very vocal about his dislike of being shaved). They take into consideration if the cat gets too stressed. They will take a break for a little bit and then start again. Very patient!! Would definitely recommend.

My husband and I really like this place. We have a very energetic Rottie and she loves this place. My girl, Ruby is known and apparently hasn't met a stranger there. They ensure to come from around the desk and pet her before she's even checked in and she literally falls out in the floor to accept all of their love. She plays hard and when she comes home she's exhausted. I also love that you can earn points!

I am so happy that we chose Safari Pet Resort to watch our fur baby, Baker, for over a week! It was his first time being boarded (and first time away from us), so he was extremely nervous. Fortunately, the staff at Safari Pet were so patient and attentive with him. We loved the fact that we could request photos of him throughout his time there. By the time we picked him up, we could tell he was reluctant to leave! Thank you for taking such great care of Baker!!

Cannot say enough wonderful things about Safari Pet Resort! This is truly the only place we trust with our boy. He gets SO excited to visit Safari. The staff is always so kind, they know our boy by name and love him so well! With my husband and I both working full time; it’s the absolute best to pick up a very happy (and tired! lol) pup at the end of the day, knowing he had a blast.I also can’t brag on their grooming enough! Our boy is high energy, extra floofy, and scared of the dryer haha so we know grooming him is a big task! Not only does our boy look amazing when we pick him up but he’s also still SO happy, which says so much about their patience and love for the dogs!Shoutout to Ang, you’re the best!! 🙌🏼We love Safari Pet Resort! 💚

I recently decided I wanted my 5 month old pup to do some doggie day camp visits to help keep him well socialized. I cannot say enough good things about my experience. From the first phone call inquiring about the service to drop off and pickup - all absolutely 5-star experiences. Having the ability to check out the webcams during my boy's playtime and seeing the counselors interacting with dogs and giving them so much love just warmed my heart and gave me so much satisfaction in knowing my pup is in good hands.I will take him NOwhere else.A little back story: back in the early 2000s I had a boxer puppy who went to Safari quite often. It was an excellent place then. But, it's been a long time and the drive from Smyrna to Murfreesboro isn't as breezy these days with all the growth and traffic. So, I looked closer to home this time around. I took my current pup for an evaluation at a different day camp service closer home and was surprised to learn the dogs are in rooms all day that are only monitored by cameras as opposed to actual humans in the play areas. If an incident happened - this could be really bad and it just left me concerned about taking my pup to that kind of environment. So, I decided that a shorter distance was by no means worth a less quality experience and less safe experience for my pup.I'm so glad we went to Safari and am so grateful to the employees there for an amazing job. This photo is my boy's ride home pic... absolutely wiped out, but SO content and happy!

My Zivah loved her stay here. I was really nervous about boarding her but they eased my mind and made me more comfortable with all their options. She was even dressed up for the 4th of July holiday when I picked her up!I could tell that she had a blast because she passed out from the amount of fun she had when we got home.We're definitely looking forward to our next trip and will happily be bringing Zivah back for more play!

My shihtzu has been going to the Safari for 3 years! From her first hair cut, doggy socializing at day care, to her first boarding stay a year ago, there is absolutely nowhere else I trust to take my baby. I cannot brag enough about the Safari, their services, and staff.I regularly used the doggy day care program when I lived in Murfreesboro. My baby would be picked up at my doorstep in the morning so I could make it to work without having to leave extra early to get her there and she would be dropped back off to me at the end of the day. That’s the definition of top notch service for a very reasonable fee. I love the added touch of always getting a report card for Lily’s activity during her visits which always reassures me she is loved and enjoying her time being here.I always feel that my baby is in excellent hands and she comes out with a smile, happy, and goes straight to sleep in the car. Some of the same staff has been here since her first visit. Ally at the front desk is super nice and helpful. She always makes me feel like my requests are listened to and gives me peace of mind with any worries I have- same for anyone I’ve talked to over the phone when scheduling things as well! You can tell the people who work here have a passion for animals and care about the pets they interact with daily and that is super important to me! Laney has been Lily’s regular groomer for a while now and always makes sure I’m comfortable with her style and stays in communication with me about Lily’s visit.As another review stated, I wish there was another location in Nashville as long as the integrity remained the same. Since moving away from Murfreesboro I have a huge issue with trying to find another facility that even comes close to this business in comparison and have not found another place I would trust to leave my baby during the day or otherwise.

The absolute best experience for us and our doodle! Not everyone knows how to groom our curly haired pup, but the Safari Pet Resort team does! And he also enjoys being loved on for puppy daycare times. They are attentive and skilled at caring for animals!

This place is just the best. And I'm a picky pet owner.I have 3 dachshunds. 2 short hair and 1 long hair. My long hair dachshund is 11 years old and has had back surgery. She's a tender baby. Safari took excellent care of her. She came in for a long overdue haircut and I will definitely be back.You get 25% off your first visit. The place has an awesome atmosphere. It's like you're in a jungle as soon as you drive into the parking lot. Shade trees, bamboo, gated/fenced walkways.. it's like a little getaway right in the middle of town.All the girls working there are super sweet and they seem knowledgeable.Brogli, Lane, Alexander and Weaver Veterinarians recommended Safari to me and they have yet to steer me in the wrong direction.

Clean place with friendly employees. Our cat stayed there while we were out of town. We really liked that we could watch our cat on the camera through the website, but about halfway through our stay, the link for the camera stopped working and never came back up. There was a day when an employee offered to call us back by the end of the day and never did. Because of those small hiccups, I can't give more than 4 atars.

I was really hoping to help my dog become more sociable, so I decided to give Safari Pet Resorts a try. I wanted to see where they kept the dogs to ensure it was a good environment, but they actually turned down my request to visit that area, which struck me as odd and made me feel uneasy.Despite my reservations, I went ahead and enrolled my one-year-old dog in their daycare. Unfortunately, things took a worrisome turn. Out of the blue, my dog started coughing, and I immediately reached out to my vet for help. To my surprise, the vet diagnosed it as kennel cough, even though my dog was up to date on all his vaccinations.Concerned and puzzled, I took my dog to the vet's office for further examination. They confirmed it was indeed kennel cough. When I mentioned that my dog had been going to Safari Pet Resorts, the vet's lack of surprise raised my suspicions even more.Considering everything that happened, especially my denied request to see the dogs' living area, I strongly advise fellow dog owners against choosing Safari Pet Resorts. If you genuinely care about your dog's health and well-being, it's probably best to explore other options.

Reuben and Monster have a FABULOUS time whenever they get to go on Safari! A couple years ago, they had to stay there for an extended period of time (as well as our sweet, orange kitty, Pumkin Pie, who has since passed away). I couldn’t say more about how happy I was with everything Safari Pet Resort did to keep our 3 fur babies happy and healthy. The team of employees always responded when we called to see how they were doing and gave personalized reports for each of them. I love that they have cameras so I can watch play time from anywhere! We continue to go there regularly for dog grooming and each groomer is not only attentive, but thorough to ask and listen to what services and style we want. The receiving staff is always knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Safari Pet Resort is my top pick for grooming, doggie day care, and boarding. I would highly recommend them to anyone! Jill T

Our long hair German Shepherd went today for a bath and what I believe is referred to as a pampered pet spa day. What I know is he came home smelling great, looking great, and probably for the first time ever not shedding any hair. I was so impressed at their treatment and at how well he responded to them. Great service by our bather MaKayla and we loved the report card home which gave us an anecdotal record of how he did today. We will be back, this was our first visit we certainly appreciated everything.
