I normally go to PetSmart but, they were booked for 2 weeks. I was able get my boy in the same day at PetCo. It was $10 more expensive, but it was a better experience for me and him. We will be going back.

I walk in, grab pick up order, leave. That's the sum of this review! Also have done dog training years ago with Happy but he's no longer there by the looks of it, an extremely wonderful guy. Should've never let him leave!

I have been taking my Pyredoodle, Koda to Petco for over a year now. He had a grooming appointment last week and has not been the same dog since. The lady I spoke with when picking him up told me that Koda had escaped from his pen, opened the double doors to the grooming salon and jumped over the front desk. Note: This is NOT my dog’s normal behavior. He has NEVER done this in any of his previous grooming appointments. This was caused by the staff being neglectful and making my dog feel unsafe in the environment they created. If the doors were open to the entrance, he could have easily gotten hit or ran off. We specifically told the staff to put him in their safety pen as they’ve done in past visits just as an extra safety measure. The staff claimed they didn’t have one this time. I would like to see footage of how they interacted with Koda as he has not left my side, will not sleep unless he has physical contact with me and has now started showing signs of aggression towards people. Again, this is NOT my dog’s temperament. I do not trust these groomers and HIGHLY recommend finding another grooming salon for your pet. We are having to seek professional training after the trauma he experienced in ONE DAY at this salon. I have been urged by family and friends to investigate this incident further. They know my dog and are witnessing him out of character. He was a mellow, sweet and unbothered dog before entering PetCo last week. I am now considering taking further action with him showing zero signs of improvement since this incident occurred. I urge you to keep your pet safe from this nightmare and avoid this salon AT ALL COST. I recommend finding a salon where the groomers truly care about your animal.

This was Bailey’s first time at Petco Grooming. What a wonderful experience! Staff was very friendly and professional. Maddi did a fantastic job bathing, cleaning her ears, brushing her and clipping her nails. This is the best grooming she has gotten since we moved to Tennessee. Thank you, Maddi. Bailey will definitely be back to see you for her next grooming!

Don’t go to Kelsey for grooming services. She was rough and rude to my dog and I heard him yelp in the back when he was being picked up. She didn’t even do the whole service. He has been going here for years and have always had a great experience until he got Kelsey this last time. I am extremely disappointed. Don’t work as a groomer if you’re mean to animals.

I was very pleased with the grooming that was done for both of my dachshunds. I had never seen them with their hair so short and didn't recognize my normally all black one who now has gray and black since he was groomed. I am very happy with the grooming that was done for both and felt the price was reasonable also. I will return for sure.

Emily does a great job! She treats our pup like her own. Our pup was very scared of the grooming salon until she met Emily. She is always quick to greet us when we come in, and gets down on the floor to give our pup love. She just adores her and is no longer afraid! I know that our sweet girl is in great hands when she is there!

I am a pro groomer myself and had my dog done while I was on vacation- the girls did great. Very sweet, honest staff and my dog looks great. He walked in happy and walked out happy ☺️

Had no appointment and needed my dogs nails trimmed. All together it took about 10min to get in and get out. James did so well with my dog. Before he took her to the back he made sure she was comfortable with him first and he kept reassuring her the whole time. Definitely will be back and definitely will request James.

Jessica is our groomer. I love how she gives me details as well as his paper review on his behavior. This previous time his ears were still dirty. I waited an extra hour on a call to say he’s ready. Never got the call, so I went in to get him.But she normally always does a great job.

I was extremely happy with my groomer James I will definitely be back. My dog gets very nervous around new people and he just walked in the gate like it was nothing. His nails were also trimmed perfectly and he was shiny and smelled good.

Basic bath n brush my big standard poodles is really affordable $41ea but Petco adds another $5ea fee automatically for materials. When asked what it was noone knew and asked why wasn't I told when I asked the price befor hand and they simply apologized. So a Basic Bath n Brush is $46. Tell it like it is when customers ask. No good smelling shampoo but clean and fluffy.

I don’t understand why if I explained and showed them pictures of how I wanted my dog to be groomed, he ends up looking like a RAT... I paid to brush his teeth again, and like the last 5 other times they didn’t do it or did it halfway. I thought you walk in to this store because it’s for pets but now I completely understand that they just do a mediocre job every time just to get it done and to high gross people. I’m very disappointed with the service and personnel, because they ignore what you explain to them to be done with the poor animal.

Caroline and everyone took excellent care of my dog- especially considering she's a rescue with a lot of anxiey and PTsD. They gave me excellent advice for future visits and even wrapped her up in a warm towel fresh out of the dryer so she wouldn't get chilled in the cold rain on the way to the car.

Phoenix our husky was shedding really bad. They did a good job de-sheeding her and shaving the fur around her pads. Nails looked nice. She was happy and seemed to really like her new groomer.

My dog was scheduled to be groomed at 1030am. Was left in a cage for over 4.5 hours before they even started. If they were not going to start until 300pm I should not have been told to bring him in so early. The appointment was for grooming and not boarding. For pets with abandonment or emotional issues, that is tantamount to abuse and torture. No excuse for a delay of that magnitude.

I don't understand why these stores think that grooming is just cutting all the hair off! It's not! I have a Snorkie; miniature schnauzer Yorkie mix and I SPECIFICALLY asked to keep the beard. I got my dog back and the entire beard is COMPLETELY gone. He has no hair anywhere. Literally! Its time to just start doing it myself. Smh terrible.
