Grocery shopping at Kroger is absolutely the worst grocery shopping experience I've had in several years. They have an app for you to download. But it's so user unfriendly that even the people at the service desk don't fully understand how it works so they can't explain it to you. They have things listed as sales, but there's digital deals and weekly sales and you're supposed to scan coupons with your phone? But when you do scan them they don't come up for sale at the cash register. And things don't ring up on sale like they're supposed to. If you don't watch every single thing that comes through the line, you'll end up paying full retail price for sale items. I just bought sodas that were on sale for $4.99. listed all over the front and middle and end caps of the aisles at 4.99. I bought nine boxes because it was such a good price. But none of them rang up on sale and when I complained about it at the cash register, the manager on duty didn't even know that they were on sale and didn't know how to fix it. They eventually comped me $5 per box after I complained. But if I hadn't watched I would have paid full retail. Kroger is the most frustrating grocery store to shop, and I think they do it that way on purpose to confuse you. Do better Kroger

It was great! Good selection of everything. Got fresh salad and veggies, a Home Chef meal, yogurt, paper products, dog and cat food and treats, a cupcake from the bakery, and a new drink to try. Was quick and pleasant. Only a handful of people there as it was almost closing time. 😍😊

The five stars are mainly for Robert. What a nice gentleman! He's always happy and willing to help. Love to go to this Kroger location especially when he's there💖 If I had a business, I would definitely hire him. Best employee there so you better appreciate him😉

I go to the store to return a Kroger PL loaf of sandwich bread that I bought Wed. It was molded. I also had 8 cans of Kroger PL pinto beans that were not cooked. Plus an issue with digital deal on Kroger PL bacon. No one at courtesy counter. Sign says go to checkout. Checkout says they cannot help me on refund. Ask for a manager. No manager in the store on a Saturday. They tell me I will have to come back another day. I live 9 miles from the store. What has happened to the operation of this store? Out of ad items on first day of ad. ???

I have to say the Kroger employees were very nice to me the gentleman behind the seafood counter help me find crab meat also so was the 2 gentlemen that checked me out one helped me empty me my cart it which was full for Super Bowl party. They were very pleasant to talk to I'll definitely go back.

Nice and clean store was easy to find what I needed. Someone needs to update the price's on the shelves, I got up to the cashier and my spaghetti sauce was a little bit more.

This Kroger location is very large and well stocked compared to the one in Shelbyville. On this Saturday there were a lot of shoppers and it was crowded but all the employees were kind and offered to help shoppers find items. At least six times an employee asked if they could help my wife and I find something. It was a very nice experience for a grocery store! October 28, 2023

It's a great store, but lately the organic produce section is pitiful. I now have to drive across town to Sprouts because there is low to no stock of most organic fruits and veggies.

I have been misgendered 3 times in this store. Using improper pronouns is hurtful. I will be shopping aldi from now on. Your hr really needs to have sit down with your bigot employees, or at least not have them in public relations role. Get it together Kroger. I expect more.

I stopped at this booth while shopping in Kroger. I sampled the ever ready Boarshead chicken, their havarti cheese and sweet chili garlic hummus. I liked them so much I purchased all three.

Upate:2/28/22- I was delivered a 3 pound package of rotten hamburger. I sent the order number and photo of the meat to customer service. I was told my order number couldn't be found and it was then dropped. I'm done giving Kroger my money. Aldi is going to take a lot of Kroger's business!!--------------Original post: Shopping in store is fine but delivery is the worst I've ever experienced anywhere. Sometimes they go hours over the 2 hour time slot. The substitutions are awful. Today I asked for $2 bag of yellow rice and without asking me, it was replaced with $13 jasmine rice that I can't even use in my recipe. Yesterday, they delivered the wrong groceries to me and took mine somewhere else. I was in the middle of cooking and needed those groceries. When they brought my stuff back, my ice cream was melted bcuz it took so long. Delivery is $9.95. I'm 2 minutes from the store. But we have covid so we can't get out. It would be worth the fee, if the shoppers could get it right.

Be careful in the Pharmacy, I just had major surgery and they shorted my medication. I called and was told “to bad, we’re right and you’re wrong”. This is disgusting! They either stole from me or truly can’t count. Either way, I’ll never use Kroger again!!!! Count your meds before leaving the store.

This store really impressed me.There was an issue with my online pickup order and I called the store expecting to have to argue my case. The manager was wonderful. I was treated like family and they were so kind and concerned for my kids and I.Definitely appreciate this store

This Kroger is a very large Kroger with a wide variety of just about everything you need. The staff is very helpful and parking is always available and so are buggies. Lol

Is there a way to give less than 1 star to to deli section? I had the worst experience 06/19 with an employee named Zach. His unprofessionalism and unwillingness to work just shows how little work ethic and customer service skills he has to regular customers. I requested a pickup order be placed and apparently I was supposed to give a 24 hr notice for an order to be picked up by 12, although I was only late by 2 hours to have the order placed he stated that he wouldn't take my order because of the short notice and there were no employees to make my order. This guy definitely does not belong where good customer service is required and I felt it was unfortunate that I had to take my business elsewhere just because of his attitude.

So I thought this place was open one day extremely early in the morning. (Didn't know about store hour change). I wanted just a red bull and I was in my work uniform that is also a blue collar shirt. I got let in by an employee at the door so I thought they were open and the door just wasn't on. I grabbed my red bull and went to check out and realized they thought I was an employee coming into work. I didn't take the red bull but idk maybe improve your security just a bit for the sake of your employees

The guest service and care for this Kroger's customers is so sad compared to what the other Kroger's around town use to be. When you reach out to there cooperate they do nothing. The staff in this store is allowed to ignore questions and dismiss concerns of there patrons. I have always loved Kroger but this most recent experience is just appalling. I highly recommend going elsewhere.

Personally I’d rather not give any stars after what I just found out! After grocery shopping, I proceed to the check out, realizing I also needed to withdraw a little more from my account in order to pay rent…only to find out Kroger charges you $3.50 for cash back?!!! Seriously??!!!! I’ll take my spending elsewhere from now on. The only place I’ve ever paid a convenience fee was an atm!! SHAME ON YOU KROGER!!!

This store is nice and clean going through a remodel at this time but still very clean. I am high on customer service and customer engagement. The employees do not acknowledge the guest/customers. So with the store being clean there should also be welcoming voices faces and smiles.

Very clean and organized with plenty of lines open at all times, including the self-check area. When I need cashier assistance in that area (like for an ID check for wine purchase) I never have to wait very long. One of my all time favorite Kroger stores!

The people in the pharmacy are wonderful. James has helped me quite a few times and has gone above and beyond.The store is big with lots of departments many stores do not have. The prices are good, especially sale prices and discounts with the digital coupons. The product selection is good but doesn't carry all products we prefer.

Miss Albright was extremely rude and unprofessional. She refused to come to the front counter to assist with an exchange. I had too many cases of size two diapers, and my son outgrew them. Attempted to exchange, but did not keep the receipt, so they would not exchange unopened boxes for a larger size. Every single pickup and delivery order has multiple outrageous mistakes. employees are union and it shows in the quality of the work they perform and the rude attitude they have toward customers on a daily basis. The problem is systemic and starts with poor management This will be my last trip to a Kroger.

I rarely leave reviews, but my experience of receiving the COVID-19 vaccine at the Kroger on S. Church was fantastic! The vaccine was administered quickly and professionally, and I was in and out in twenty minutes. All staff were friendly and efficient. Thank you!
