I LOVE THIS PLACE! If you hike, camp or just enjoy the outdoors, this place has EVERYTHING! I got my Nemo tent here when no one had one. Got my ULA backpack and other gear here. The regular prices and selection are great, but when they have a sale they have some really fantastic deals. Plus I really like that it’s local and not a chain! They carry Nemo, ULA, Patagonia, Outdoor Research, etc. Whatever you need. The best part about the place is the people. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. No one tries SELL you, but they give advice and guidance if you want it, otherwise, they let you look around or chat. It’s a very laid back and chill place. You can just come in and talk about where you went hiking over the weekend. They do a lot of classes and events and are very active in the community. They do group hikes and group bike events. If you get a chance, take one of Dolphin’s classes or attend one of her hikes. Dolphin, Janie, Caroline, heck, everyone is really awesome. This is just a great, positive place and I highly recommend it!

Great place to find your outdoor needs. I went for hiking boots and to support local. I had limited to no knowledge and the staff were very friendly and helpful with recommendations! I ended up purchasing one of the recommended pairs and so far are loving my hiking boots! Definitely recommend shopping here! Noticed they have nice brands of clothing as well!! Great selection, recommendations and friendly faces while you shop!

I was on my way to the mountains when I realized I had forgotten my belt and also some paracord. I met a hiking guide/gear expert working there, named Dolphin! She whipped me up a belt made out of a buckle and some paracord. 5 minutes later I was out the door on my way back to the trails.You've got to check this place out even if you don't need a paracord belt :)

Took two bikes in: one for repair/tune up; the other for tune-up. They spent over an hour with us going over our bikes, how to mount on our bike rack, etc. Very knowledgeable and helpful. Prices very reasonable as well.

Cycology Bicycles is great. I purchased a new Trek Checkpoint a couple of weeks ago. Charles was very patient through my many visits as I changed back and forth between the Checkpoint and Domane. The day I came in to finally make the purchase, Eddie the bike fitter happened to be there, so Charles had him spend some time helping me decide on the correct frame size. The final decision was made, and the bike had to be ordered because I wanted a color and frame size that wasn't in stock.The first day I rode my new bike, there was a factory issue with the chain which caused major damage to the the rear derailleur, which also caused some slight damage to the frame. Because the bike was brand new, Ernie the service manager asked Trek to replace the bike instead of just repairing the damage. This happened on a Saturday and by the following Saturday I was again on my new Trek (only 7 days to assess the problem, negotiate with the factory, order the new bike, and put it together when it arrived at the store).When I arrived at the store to pick up the 2nd new bike, I also picked out a handful of parts like pedals, a rack, Garmin mounts, flat repair kit, some tools, etc. When I went to pay for them, Charles and Ernie informed me that the store and Trek were covering the price of the accessories because they wanted to make up for my problem with the new bike. Wow, this was a few hundred dollars in merchandise that they took care of.I initially went to Cycology Bicycles because of the number of 5-star Google reviews the store had. It’s now easy to see why everyone likes them. Even though I had a problem with a new bike, the staff at Cycology more than took care of the problem and turned what could have been a bad experience into a great experience.I will definitely be making Cycology my local bike shop as well as telling everyone about my great experience.

My husband and I found Little River in a search for a local outdoor outfitter that we could patronize instead of a larger chain store, and we couldn’t have been more delighted with the experience. The merchandise selection is far greater than I expected and the prices were completely reasonable for true quality products. There’s an adorable Store Dog named Sadie, and every employee we spoke to was incredibly friendly and helpful. We’re excited to need more camping gear so we have an excuse to go back. :)

This place is so amazing!!! Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Cameron is awesome!! Great selection of everything you need to hit the outdoors on your bike. Was able to take my time and test ride a new bike out behind the shop. Went home the proud owner of that bike too!! Their service department is top notch too. My wife recently had her bike refurbished there and it performs better now than it did when she bought it new 10 years ago. Do yourself a favor, stop by and give them some love. You will not be disappointed.

Cycology bikes and little river trading Co. If you want knowledgeable people helping you to shop for new gear, do bike repairs or maintenance tune ups, then look no further! Pull up a stool and have yourself a pint at the bike shop. You'll feel like youre hanging with cleanest group of buddies working on bikes in your workshop/garage (but waaaay cleaner, and smelling waaaay better!) Need something for a biking trek? Just walk over to little river without missing a beat. The staff is great and not only helpful but genuinely kind and won't sell you something just for the sale. They love the product and they love the community. Thanks for being our go-to for bikes and beer! (And all the other gear!)

Amazing shop with the nicest people. Always greeted when I enter the doors whether it’s in the front outfitter section or the bike shop in the rear. I can’t go in and not find something I’m needing or in many cases something I didn’t know I was needing as they are always adding new and exciting stuff. On this last trip in I was searching for bike packing goods and all the staff helped in some way regarding selection and Kate was very helpful to share her thoughts and experience with the dry foods. Given her suggestions I was able to select meals for a number of trips and having already sampled one I know she was spot on. While I live better than two hours away from the store I always stop in when I’m in the area if only to browse, but most times I leave with something new that has been added since my last trip. Always a wonderful experience shopping at Little River Trading Co. and Cycology Bicycles.
