I recently visited Dollar General, and I had a fantastic shopping experience! The store was well-organized, making it easy to find everything I needed quickly. Tha man I assume is the manager has a jerk attitude. I was trying to clean my dirty shoes off before going inside so I didn't track stuff everywhere and he made it a point to say to my face that I had better not bring that stuff in there. He made it a point to stand there and watch me even after the doors closed. Joking or not that was extremely inappropriate to say. WILL NOT BE BACK.

Well I stop In here often but due to this experience and another at a DG store not far from here I'm done with DG for a while.I went to buy a candy bar that was in a spot with a whole box that said 95 cents. Yes it was king sz but I thought it was just on sale. It rang up 1.50 cashier notices it and says box in wrong spot she immediately moved them which was fine but when the manager came to override the price he smarted off to me and said have you ever known these to be 95 cents. I was surprised at his response and I said I just thought it was a really good deal and they were on sale. He then mumbled something and walked away. As I was paying for the remainder of my order I said loudly its not my fault they were in the wrong spot. He said it's ok I took care of it.....The thing is you should NEVER try to interrogate a customer like that. The whole fact of his attitude about it was what did me in. If you are going to interrogate someone then have a talk with your employees about doing their job correctly and not putting items where they definitely don't go.I'm really tired of DG for a long time!

The new manager at our 411 South DG is great. She's putting a lot of attention into stocking and organizing with her great team of people. Very enjoyable when I run in there.

I don't think the prices are that great, but very convenient usually in and out real fast. Great. staff from manager on down very friendly and helpful. Dropped my wallet I there a couple days ago. Went back they had found it and kept it for me. Had my last $20 in it. Still there when they gave it to me.

Seems like a well run store because for the most part, everything seemed well stocked and organized. the only thing I could complain about was having to wait about 5 minutes before someone came up to the register to check me out.

Great place to shop for various items that some stores don't have or to get it cheap for the same results as other products. And the staff is always ready to help when needing to find what you are looking for with hospitality

This store is always such a mess with boxes in the isles every time I go in there. And they never have the diapers on the shelf that I need. Never. They should be hiring someone that will get this store cleaned up and organized.

Danny, the manager was so helpful. He opened a register to get me checked out fast. I had over $200 in gift cards and he got me out quickly.

They did not carry the brand of chapstick I wanted but they carried every ither brand and version you could think of. The place is also very cluttered but the people are nice

The rudest employees. Definitely not the place to stop if you are in a hurry. The managers duty will walk past a line of customers waiting and go outside to smoke.

Dollar store is convenient for about anything you need in a hurry ! In there life's one grip I have , one person running a register when checkout is 10 deep.

Lines are sometimes long and some of the cashiers don't move the fastest but they are always sweet and they always have what I need in a hurry.

This place is awful the manager staff is awful we come there on our lunch break to get food and drinks from there and sit eat and smoke a cigarette before we go to work the other day the manager called the cops saying were loitering and solicitating then when we came back for lunch and she called the law and took pictures of our license plate we will not be back there no more lots of people seen what she did and will not return there neither

Dollar General is an excellent store for what it is. To me it TRIES to come off as a miniature Wal-Mart. Which in my opinion it carries off.
