Rude pharmacy staff. Don't call 15 minutes before their lunch break on the weekends, they pick up the phone then put you on hold and leave you there.

Horrible customer service lied to patient about medication. Pharmacist doesn’t even know correct diagnosis for medication! I am a provider and they were EXTREMELY RUDE AND HUNG UP ON ME!!

I do not have a Walgreens locally so I was surprised when visiting my sister and she chose it to shop for souvenirs and added some Christmas gifts to her shopping while we were traveling. I have previously limited my travel stops at Walgreens to medical supplies and quick snacks.

The absolute worst pharmacy staff I have ever had to deal with. One of their pharmacist, Danielle, is condescending and a disgrace to the company and trade. She lacks passion, refuses to acknowledge her wrong doing and lies to pass her job to the next pharmacist. She has one job and that is to treat the PAYING customers with dignity and respect. Her lack of empathy and compassion is disgusting and Walgreens should be ashamed to have her as an employee. I have escalated my personal case to the corporate office, to which she could not remember the number to, nor give her last name, as well as a civil rights attorney. NO ONE should be subjected to her blatant disrespect and poor attitude. My opinion, when you have a job where a majority of your time is spent with the public but you act like you hate that, i.e. roll eyes, make fun of them when they walk away, or flat out refuse to do your job then that is when it would benefit you and the customer if you have a talk with God and either change your attitude or your position of employment. So I will continue my personal battle with Walgreens for all the mentally challenged, depressed, uneducated or lacking confidence in doing so until someone within the company recognizes that there is a consistent problem with their pharmacists and their treatment of others. By the way, I have transferred all my prescriptions to Walmart as of today where their main service is taking care of their customers. Best wishes!

Update. I want to recognize Regina in the Madisonville pharmacy. I was having trouble filling a prescription with 2 other retailers because the one my insurance would cover was out of stock going on 3 weeks. Who can wait 3 weeks for any medication??? Regina took the time to call Walmart to release the prescription and call my insurance company to get approval for a generic they had in stock. Customer service is rare these days. Thank you Regina for your attention. CVS nor Walmart would take the time to go that extra step. You saved me over $70 and I will bring back my business to your store. 12/16/23Stopped in for a few things. I figured since I was there I would drop off a prescription. I usually go to another pharmacy. I had always used Walgreens before I lost my insurance. New job with benefits. I thought I would use them again. The tech was very rude. She asked if I had other prescriptions some where else. I said yes. She asked do I want to transfer all of my scripts to Walgreens. I said no with a puzzling look. I asked is that a problem? She said it's best to have all your prescriptions at one place and handed it back to me when. She did not want to fill it. I was surprised. I said I guess I'll take it to the other pharmacy. She just looked at me and said OK. I may have considered transferring my other scripts but her attitude really ticked me off. If you can't fill my one prescription then you can't fill the others. Way to encourage people to use your store! I'll stay with your competitor. Their prices are better anyway.

I’ve had the absolute worst experience with these people. They have lost my medication and not only that but the people at the window were just down right rude and disrespectful. If you are looking for a new pharmacy I’d suggest looking some here else

I would give negative stars if possible, but just for the pharmacy portion. You either get attitude or lied to. Numerous times I have called prescriptions in and told it would be ready within 2hrs, only to get there at said time and be told they just started working on it, it would be another hour. I know people are short staffed, blah blah but at least get in the ball park. My time is just as valuable as yours... not a very Happy customer that will soon be switching to CVS for all my pharmacy needs.

I'd been in communication with my doctor about an antibiotic prescription I needed to take before a procedure and the doctor had called it in 3 times. I stopped at this Walgreens 2x on 2 different days and was told there was no record of a prescription for me both times. I had just went through the drive thru and decided to come inside to call my doctor again. When I got to the counter I overheard the pharmacist already on the phone with her because I heard my name. I heard the pharmacist lie to my doctor and say they had told me they were working on filling it when literally 3 mintues before I was told no record of one. While I was at the counter I heard the way he was speaking to my doctor and he was incredibly rude. The receptionist at my doctor's office said one of the times she had called the tech told her to stop calling and actually hung up on her twice! She couldn't believe it, as could I.While standing and waiting on my Rx, I overheard him complaining to one of the techs saying, "people just don't understand we get a lot of call ins every day! " That's what a pharmacy IS for, the only reason it exists. You fill prescriptions at a pharmacy! It shouldn't take 3 calls over several days to fill a simple antibiotic. So here it is at the last minute because the prior days nobody bothered to fill it and kept telling me there's no record of it in their system.Because of this gross incompetence I was late to my appointment today and I couldn't believe how absolutely disrespectful they treated my doctor. I will never buy anything at that store again.

If it were possible I'd give negative stars. Mainly because the lack of intelligence and all around rudeness of the kids in the pharmacy. I know your phone service is automated so it gives you more time to avoid customers and be rude, but if you can't provide an explanation as to why I continue to receive emails and calls in regards to a prescription I never called in, then maybe you should just try answering the phone. Oh wait if you answered the phone or actually did your job then you wouldn't have time for Facebook selfies, how life is so hard while you waste people's time. I'd rather go without my medication than ever go back to the madisonville store.

Quick check out , clerks are polite and helpful , pharmacy tech 's answers questions about prescription's. Free blood pressure checks ,flu shots avail. Store cleanliness excellent handicap parking right at door but no motor cart😩I think every business should have at least one it is hard to get a wheelchair in and out of the car you would get more business🤑.

Inside workers are sweet, but the pharmacy It's really a hit or miss with whoever is working , I know the older or even veteran workers are the sweetest, and the younger (in their 20s) employees are EXTREMELY rude. There is no customer service at all, they talk to you like they talked to people in high school with no professionality at all. I love Walgreens, but I'll just make the drive to the sweetwater one from now on. It's sad to see my own generation ruining in-store experiences, bc I can't help but think they are also treating our elders like that and it's just embarrassing. Do better.

VERY poor customer service. My job’s office had called in a prescription since LAST Friday, patient showed up & was told it never was called in. Called again Monday morning & patient showed up 30mins after i called it in (they had a 3hr drive to us) & was told it was never called AGAIN. So i called back & the lady along with the so called manager Paul B something was very rude and didn’t even let me explain my frustration as why i was calling so much. They have some very bad pharmacist. The pharmacist Paul is very rude and talks about people . He thinks he over rules a Dr . I have never been talked to like that by a pharmacy. They act like it kills them to fill meds. And he doesn't like to be questioned at all. But the girls at the counter are great and do there best to help. It would be a good pharmacy if they would move Paul . Just my opinion

I went yesterday me and my husband got our first covid vaccine all we had to do was show our ID and answer like 5 question Max and they was like was we around anyone with covid etc. Anyways I talked my parents into going today to get their vaccine. And the girl there in her 20s told them she could not give it to them because they had to have a insurance card and the paper work would take each person 39 minutes which is Bs and it is also Bs about a insurance card bc my husband does not have insurance and still got one yes a ID and keep in mind my parents are extremely high risk and been trying to get vaccinated but they are having the hardest time. And it is because employee like these at Walgreens that Tennessee is Probably scoring so low on the vaccine and thanks to them my mom had one of her breathing spells. Thanks Walgreens for the bin service because the young lady did not feel like giving the shot today like she said she should be write up or something

From out of town went in tried to ask a question and before I could finish they answered giving the wrong information that even pertain to my question when asked for a manger they told back in the corner. No manager was there just the bathroom. Went back asked for a manager again and not the bathroom she said why didn’t ask for her to begin with. When the manager came up she was and what do you want. Rude no respect to the customers and arrogant. I am so glad I don’t live in this area and have to get my ex filled here

The pharmacy staff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I have been a customer for over seven years. I think this is the best pharmacy in Madisonville. The store is always immaculate and the store staff is very friendly. I would recommend this Walgreens to anyone.

AWFUL customer service! So far, all but 1 worker I've spoke with doesnt have any manners. They refuse to fill medicines until you can PROVE you live in monroe co.... I didnt know they could pick and choose who they fill for. AVOID!!!

Everytime I drop my dad's meds off (drive thur) The worker always asks for a number to call when ready. I give them my dad's home phone everytime, it's also in system. We NEVER receive a call. Very poor pharmacy!!!

I had a very rude worker there. The computer was down and she wouldn't explain why I couldn't purchase my medicine. Everytime I ask a question shed say I can't sell it to you. I came in later and another worker was friendly and explained it in less than a minute.

Someone always greets you and I have never had to wait to check out. Employees may be away from the register working but when they see you approach the counter their right behind you.

I was treated completely horrible by asking questions that I did not understand, instead of educating me and being nice I was yelled at and given extreme attitude to me and dismissed like I was nothing.
