This place is amazing. A friend told us to try them because they have great burgers. Understatement of the year. I got the 1/2lb Double Bacon Cheeseburger and it was amazing. Cooked perfectly, juicy and dripping. Bacon was crispy, but not burnt. The tater tots were lightly breaded and very good.What really makes this pla e is the small town feel. It's a nostalgic place with a lot of yo7nger,very pleasant staff...the kind you would think of as all going to the same small high school.Saturdays are incredibly busy, but they move quick.Definitely a must do if your in the area. Something I would have missed if I hadn't been told about it.Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly.

My family went here and it took almost 40 minutes to get our food. Our hamburgers were burnt, hard and tasted like the meat was going bad. My grandsons chicken strips were so overly cooked they were so dark brown almost black and when they were brought to our table it's a good thing he was distracted eating on the fries cause when I reached over to pull the tenders into pieces so he could eat them(he's 3) it was so hot inside it blistered my hand, I can only imagine if he had tried to take a bite of it. I can understand getting the food out hot, but that was to the point it blistered my fingers. Maybe warn someone it's that hot instead of just tossing plate on table and walking off(literally what they did). None of us never recieved drink refills, people were walking up to the drink machine behind the counter and getting refills for themselves after also not getting refills. They also had pans stacked of the fried pies sitting right on the front counter, just covered with sheets of parchment paper, doesnt seem very sanitary, not really covered and sitting on the counter where people walk by and where people sit on the stools to eat. Decor and building is neat to look at but as far as food, was VERY disappointed.

Loved this place, the burgers and shakes were amazing, the service was very polite, and we just happened to go on a night there was live music. It's a very old building so don't expect things to be spotless inside, and the bathroom was a bit sketchy but we didn't mind. We all really enjoyed our evening there. Highly recommend.Parking: Plenty of spots right up front. Kid-friendliness: Lots of fun stuff for kids to look at. And there's a railroad museum right across the street.

Very cute, and very old, building with a wood interior. Burgers were delicious. Milk shakes were authentic. Prices were surprisingly affordable. The "Sunday Buffet" was your typical southern fare, nothing spectacular but it all was fresh and tasty. No complaints here!

This is our favorite burger joint. We go often! Their burgers are consistent and delicious! Try the fried pickles or fried green tomatoes too! You may have leftovers! Service is awesome, great memorabilia on walls. Cute town too with small train museum and train cars on display

Went here with family. Our 20 person party turned in to 39. It took them a while to get the food out, but it was correct and hot. Food is tasty and the atmosphere is fun. A great place to eat, especially after peach picking at Forgies or black/blue berry picking at Bee Sweet Berry farm.

The service from the staff memebers were great. I loved how walking inside soda pop junction there was an authentic feeling from the cooking and just the way the building was made inside & out. You don’t see to many buildings made of real brick & wood to often. I liked how I was able to see exactly how the burger was being made from the shapening & seasoning of burger and fries by the cook. Nostalgic vibes in a modern day time.

We stopped here to eat on a Sunday afternoon. My husband & I love to find and try little "mom & pop" places like this one. Our food was cooked fresh, so it takes a little while to get your food, but it is worth the wait. My bacon cheeseburger was cooked to perfection! We would definitely eat here again, if we're in the area.

This is definitely a great place to get a burger! They are very good. But for once I decided to go off the board and try the catfish. The salad was like out of the bag shredded and brown and soggy. The dressing dissolved into the wet bed of shreds. The hushpuppies were more like burnt fried okra. The catfish was of the muddy type..not the pond fresh. The only thing good on the plate was the baked potato. I'll come back but it'll be a burger only for me!!

What a fun stop! We went for ice cream and they have all kinds of options from shakes to banana splits to hot fudge sundaes & more! The staff couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful! It was my first time there but it is worth the short drive up from Alabama to bring others back!

We had a great time on our tour with Macie. She was funny a n d so very informative of their distillery and explained Tennessee whiskey history. We had a tasting of their whiskey and bourbon and vodka. You will have a great time here. Only $5 per adult for tour and tastings. You are able to purchase their alcohol and they have cute gifting as well.

Like stepping back in time. Old old drugstore from the late 20’s now home to a local hamburger joint — filled with an eclectic collection of photos, plaques, signs, advertising memorabilia etc. Fun place to stop after a day drive on the backroads of Southern Middle TN.The food is hot, and tasty. The burgers have a very flavorful seasoning grilled into the massive sandwich. We ordered the deep fried spear pickles — which turned out to be a half jar of huge spears fried with a side of ranch dressing — almost a meal on its own.The servers are young high school students and are friendly and very attentive. Be sure to make room for ice-cream!

Maybe this place was famous 40 years ago but now it's a DUMP. Waisted money. our entire meals where inedible and burnt all the way to the center. This is like my 5th time going. It's worse everytime. Never had a good meal here and it's officially trash now.. of you're in town and want good food just stop at the EZ Stop. They're the only GOOD restaurant in this town now which is sad cause they're a gas station 🤣🤣🤣
