I got a 18 year old mower that didn’t work, and they had all the parts I needed to get it running again. Staff was helpful and answered all my questions in a way that you only get from someone with years of experience. If you need any mower parts, definitely recommend McGinley.

Called to have my Cub Cadet mower serviced and talked to a woman who I told told that I needed service. She said that I should drop it off and they’d call me when it was ready, maybe 2 or 3 weeks. I asked if they could pick it up but she said they’d come a few miles but that’s all. I said that it sounds like you’re too busy. She said ok and hung up. Really a surprise. They were pretty helpful in the past.

Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. I had questions. They had answers and suggestions. They have a better selection and more parts for Cub Cadet equipment than the box stores or even Amazon. Even if my questions were elementary, they were never condescending. This is a safe space for novices and professionals alike.

They were professional over the telephone and in person. ( Keith M. and Todd B.) They provided the pickup and dropoff service that I needed. They did a good job providing a complete servicing for my 72 inch Cub Cadet zero turn mower. I live in Sevierville, TN. and done business with Sims Tractor until they suddenly closed up and went out of business. I was left scrambling for a new dealer to service my Cub Cadet mower. Boy, did McGinley Lawn and Garden come through for me. Thanks, again McGinley for doing an outstanding job for me. I would recommend them for anyone, especially anyone here in Sevierville who previously done business with Sims and was left hanging after Sims suddenly closed up shop for good. If you own a Cub Cadet, McGinley Lawn and Garden is the place to go. Thanks again.

I am writing this review based on my first visit yesterday to this location. Usually, I would not write a review just because I shopped somewhere, but this store has been really bashed with 1 stars for being rude. I am by no means discrediting those reviews, that is an unfortunate experience.During my visit yesterday, their inventory for mowers was very limited (as is everyone's in 2021) but the guy working there took all the time I needed to answer questions about stuff they didn't even have. Seeing my interest, he then took it upon himself to explain brands and engines even further than what I was asking. Maybe all the negative feedback was taken to heart, maybe I caught them on a good day, who knows.

Probably the most rude staff I have ever encountered!Not once, but twice... The first time I went in I needed a mower deck belt. Told the man that I had a 2003 Cub with 48" deck and needed a belt. Stared at me like I was an idiot for a minute then said "don't you have the part number?" I said that I didn't but could probably look it up on my phone if he wasn't able to. He stood there and stared at me for 3-4 minutes while I looked it up. I gave him the part number and he grabbed from a hook right beside him. All this without ever getting up from his stool.The second time today (and the last time I'll go in there) I needed a nut for blade spindle. Same gentleman as before... I asked if he had one of these and showed him a nut I pulled off another blade. He said "What do you want! 2, 3, 4 of them..." I said just one... He goes in the back and comes back and tosses it on the counter and exclaimed $5! I pulled out my wallet to find I didn't have any cash so I reached for my debit card. He rolled his eyes as he hunted and pecked on the computer for a minute then came back with my card and receipt. Looks as if the nut was $4.03 + tax making it $4.42 total. Not that 58 cents is gonna break the bank but really.

Purchased a Cub Cadet rider from there two years ago, it has preformed great. At the time the motor was new, a true cub cadet motor, fuel injected, was a little uneasy trying it, glad i did! No problems, cuts wonderful, plenty of power, easy to steer,and handle

Do not waste your time. We went there to get information on a new mower. They acted like we were bothering them and were very uninterested in helping us. Poor customer service. Making money must not be a concern for them. We went elsewhere and left with a new Cub Cadet zero turn.

These guys lie about anything from how busy they are....(as if) all the way to if a mower is supposed to be adjusted or not just to avoid having to perform service. They are rude and almost impossible to get ahold of. I recommend to anybody to drive to Exit 122 in Clinton. Ask for Ron, this guy will do whatever he can to help you out and make sure everything is done properly.

DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE!I bought my walk behind 33" mower there and had it serviced there twice. The mower was not cutting and was stalling, slipping in low grass. I removed the cover, checked it over, replaced the blade drive belt. Still no go so took to Mcginley for service. Told the person writing ticket not to change the blade drive belt. Told them It has something to do with the cable to the blade drive mechanism. 7 days later it was ready and I paid $183.82 bill that had a new belt, oil change, blade sharpened, new belt guide which none was necessary or not requested. It was end of lawn season but tried out....same problem...blade slipping and stalling. Took to my neighbor handyman and he diagnosed in 5 minutes. The bracket holding the cable that controls the cutting blade was cracked at the weld and would not engage belt. He welded the bracket in place and worked as new. Only cost me a bottle of Jim Beam!I sent pictures and request for refund for some labor and parts over a month ago. No response by phone, mail or email, the reason for1 star! NEVER AGAIN!

I am a loyal Cub Cadet owner, for over 30 years. I will NEVER go back to this place. Instead I drive the extra 21 miles to Exit 122 Power Equipment in Clinton. McGinley's staff are rude and not willing to help. Prices are too high as well (by comparison to Exit 122)

These folks are awesome. I bought my first mower there in 2005 and have been back several times for parts, etc. They aren't rude - they are real. Get over yourselves people! I think I will go down there today and trade in my old ZTR for a new one.

McGinley's is probably the best stocked lawnmower, chainsaw, and other lawn and garden equipment shop in East Tennessee (possibly the world! Ha) I picked up some obscure parts for a 1968 model Kohler engine and they had everything I needed. (Be sure to bring the serial and revision numbers for your equipment!)

I've used McGinley's twice in the past few years. Had absolutely no problems with the service or quality of workmanship. This year took my mower somewhere else first. After it was "fixed" I ended up bringing it to McGinley's to get the job done right. These guys got the mower fixed correctly and did it under the time I was quoted. And the price was lower than my first attempted "fix".

I have been in McGinley on three or more occasions to get a price or ask a question and each time I am treated with rudeness at the sales counter and by the mechanics. The girly men working there don't know or realize that I know more about small engines than they do. When I ask the mechanic about a carburetor he starts talking about the rings and walks away from me. What is wrong with those people??? I will never go back or send them any business like I have in the pass. THERE LOSS !

I am very ocd and very anal about my vehicles, motorcycles and my troy bilt blower in this case. I took my blower here not reading the reviews on this place of buisness and after i read them when my blower was already there, i got pretty scared that i would not be happy with customer service there but it was just the opposite, they were great deal with from the day i drop it off to the day i picked up my blower. They were very friendly and answer all my questions i had about the service they did to my blower. I brought my blower in to them not running right and i got back running like new, they did an awesome job and i would recommend them to anyone, and that is saying alot from me because how ocd i am. Robert was the technian that work on my blower and he did awesome job. I will drive the distance from deals gap nc to them any given day for service. Thank you once again guys.

I always find it hilarious when today's wal-mart culture girlie men go into an establishment created, ran and owned by men, expecting that kind of experience and then wanna whine that someone didn't hold their hand and kiss them in the ear the whole time they are there. McGinleys is efficient, knowledgeable, curt but courteous and a great place to get quality parts at a very affordable price. You'll find most of the commercial mowers in the area get their parts here...should tell you what the professionals think. I live in Knoxville and go out of my way to buy here. If you bear in mind no one behind the counter is gonna be 24, bright eyed or bushy tailed, yet will find you what you need regardless and give you a great price, you'll enjoy a trip to McGinleys. If you're lucky the "guard dog" will let you pet him too!
