The Piggly Wiggly in Lafayette has a history of price gouging, and folks are getting fed up with it. I can understand that they have to make a profit, but when they more than double the prices of the other stores, in some cases triple, they show just what type of business owners they really are. Such a shame...!

People are always great. They have some items you can’t get anywhere else in the area, like open pit bbq sauce and Vernors ginger ale.

I gave Piggly Wiggly in Lafayette 5 stars because it is always very well stocked and super clean. They also seem to have plenty of people working , very rarely do I have to wait in line at checkout more than a couple of minutes. Occasionally if I am not in the mood to cook I will get a plate to go from the deli for my husband and I. Everything always looks so good but my favorite is their fried chicken, so yummy 😋

I prefer Piggly Wiggly over Walmart. Shorter lines are a huge plus & they also bag your groceries & put them in your car. They have a nice deli & also serve lunch plates

Im sorry, but I have to be honest about one thing I only wish I could give the best choice tators a minus 10 stars, they have to be the worst tators I've ever ate in my life!!!! Everything else is wonderful!! They won't even get thick when you stew um , just terrible!!!

Everyone is so pleasant. Great selection of meats. The only place here in town that carries my creamer! The lady's on the front end are very nice. Todd always speaks to you.

The sweet lady that helped me at the bakery Saturday June 16 2018 was Amazing. She was so nice and made us some cupcakes last minute for my kids birthday party. She was happy to do it and didn’t make us feel like a burden. Will definitely be going back for more cakes/cupcakes!!

The owner is so nice. He always greets you and makes sure you have everything you need. I am new to the area and the staff is always warm, plus it's nice to see familiar faces each time I go shopping there.This location is easily my favorite. :)

The bag boy complained the whole time he was helping me take my groceries to the car. He kept saying he had so much to do and he needed to get this over with quickly. I then told him to forget about it I’ll take my groceries to the car myself. He would not give me back the cart. Rather poor customer service

You'll pay a little more but you get a good price on meat but everything else is a little more than what you pay at Walmart. And the store is alot easier to get around

It's a fine place to shop but before you ask question make sure the employee is over age. I asked the teenagers tonight for shake and bake and their response was like a deer in headlights.

Much more variety than when I grew up with Pig in Lafayette. Hatch, Tony Cacheries are two of thee very not-local brands they sell. A very nice surprise!

Been shopping at the pig for my groceries since 2000 when I moved here.. I like that it is more personable and with the exception of a few workers over the years everyone is super nice..and I know where everything is in the store!

Often the meat goes bad before date, but the prices are low most of the time so it is not always a bad place to shop for a deal.

I bought bagels from there on Sunday November 18,2018 they were molded called and told them. Came again Friday November 23,2018 molded again. Called and was told they were looked at and could not be molded because they were looked at. The picture shows proof. I will not be going there again.
