This place is just a beautiful home town grocery store. They treat you like family. If you have a question about things in their store or if you order something in meats or deli they can get it for you. Friday catfish is some of the best I've eaten, actually all the home-cooked meals in their deli is good.

Small grocery with most all essential items. Has a deli that serves breakfast and lunch daily, I haven't ate there but everything looks really good and they are busy at mealtime.

I love this store. It's small but packs a good selection of brands (local, generic, and national). The fresh meat case is second-to-none.My only "irk", is I wish that the smell of deep-fry grease could be eradicated from the ventilation system. I know that's impossible to do as they fix fresh lunches every day and have been doing so for decades (and they taste awesome and are super cheap, and unlike McDonald's... they fill you up.)But if there was a way....

Love Lafayette Hometown Foods! I shop here very often. They have food fixed for breakfast and lunch for working persons and anyone else who wants to eat also.I love their red potato salad. It is so good.

Omg!!! This place and I'm not kidding have the best hot lunches in town lil old ladies make the breakfast and lunch and let me tell ya it's top notch breakfast and lunch and they give you big portions.. please please go there try it you won't regret it I promise .. plus it home cooked food where can you get a whole plate of home cooked food for $5 nowhere .. GO try it ..

You can get alot there that Walmart doesn't have. Might cost you a little more. But, please, support local businesses when you can. The place has great, helpful staff. It's like going back in the older days. Nice to have a personal butcher.

The cashier's don't know that you can't bag chicken with other meats. Chicken should be separate from pork and beef.
