This is a very unique place for kids especially during winter months. It's getting popular these days so you may want to call and confirm if there are any spots available for play. There are two hours of play sessions for $8 with lots of hands on things to do. Parents have to monitor their kids. My toddler loved the place and the ambiance.

Great place as an indoor playground. The play area is limited, but it is not bad at all. Your kids can spend 2 hours easily there. The price to play is about $6-7 per kid for 2 hours. However, keep in mind that they may not be open for walk-ins, especially during the weekend, due to birthday parties. They also sell nice, high-quality toys but with premium pricing. They do gift wrapping for you, and the whole place is amazing and cozy. It just miss a coffee corner. It would be a phenomenal place if they manage to do that.

We have tried to go here three different times during open play hours. Each time, there has been a party booked so it was closed to the public. Most places only have party during non-open play times. I wish there was a way to know it would be closed before we make the drive.

We are visiting from Colorado Springs and we all had fun here. All we experienced here was the play area and train table but all 5 kids really had a great time! The toys are really neat and there are some deals to be found! We called and reserved the kids spots to play during the two hour playtime and filled out the waivers online which saved a lot of time. We were able to play right away!

I have brought my grandkids to the play area, here for 6 years now. Most kids are great, but there is always at least one mean child, but that just bad mothers chatting or can't be bothered to deal with their kids.Free gift wrapping with purchase!

Lots of cute products and a sweet helpful staff. Loved the complimentary gift wrapping so we could hide the game from our kiddo while she was playing in the play area. What a perfect paring!

They are the only toy store in Knoxville that carries some higher end and non-toxic toy brands like Hape and Brio. I like the complimentary gift wrapping, too. The play area is great for kids 3-6.

Brought my daughter to play for the first time. When I asked the red headed woman at the front about the play center, she snarled her nose and said “Um it starts at 4 but it’s full” Like ok, raggedy Ann. Could you politely tell someone that w/o being an a$$ about it?Not getting to play crushed my gal’s heart. Do not plan on returning.

Great toy selection, but for much higher prices. Cute play area, but they should only charge $5 for 2 y/o since the jungle gym is too tall to climb for most toddlers. There was one nice staff member, but the others couldn't even crack a smile. There was an unattended toddler harassing other kids, big kids screaming and running and no one doing anything. I'll stick with the playplace at Foothills Mall.

Great toys and books selection with a really cool play area (that is pay to play). Definitely call ahead for free play spots because it can fill up fast! The bathroom has a step stool for kids and has always been clean which is very helpful.

We have come to this shop several times and always have a great experience. Toys are slightly more expensive on Amazon, but they always have a great selection of high quality toys for learning that we may not have otherwise found. The play area is always clean, and the requirement for reservations keeps the number of kids playing manageable. They also gift wrap free of charge with beautiful ribbon while you shop. Overall, one of our family's favorite places to shop and play.

Great indoor play space for littles. It is enclosed and has seating for parents to watch their kiddos play. It is really nice to not have to worry about your kiddo running away.On top of that they have some great toys and gifts!

Went in today with my family and we were told our little boys couldn't play in the play area because there was a private party happening. That was completely understandable. I asked what time the party ended and the employees behind the counter told us 3pm. It was 20 minutes until 3pm so we figured we'd shop around the store until then. At 3 we took our toys to the counter which totaled over $100 and while my mother in law was paying my son went to go play and they said no, there's a private party happening. We stated that it was past 3 and they'd told us at 3 the party was set to end and they said that another parted started after, but they didn't tell us that when we originally asked for the parties end time and they heard us say we'll go shop until 3. When my toddler started crying I told them that wasn't right for them to mislead us like that and the employee responded saying "in life you don't always get what you want, they need to learn that". I will absolutely never shop or support this store in any way.

A golden egg. If you miss the toy stores of times past, go here. They have a great play area - the giant pirate ship commands your attention as soon as you enter the store! We did not get to really explore it this trip as this section has specified hours, but we will be back!! I am so glad I discovered this place before my son turned 2 so we will be able to enjoy it. Great selection for kids under 6. Two thumbs up!

My family won’t be back. Today was our first experience here after hearing great things. The play area is great, minus the pirate ship being slippery for a place requiring kids to wear socks. This place is unorganized chaos. Not something anyone wants to walk in with. Let’s begin with the parking lot situation. It is holiday season, there are other stores, I get that. But the parking lot is an absolute NIGHTMARE. I drove around forever to find a spot. People speed through the lot despite the fact lots of kids and families are present, no one cares. Be aware if you decide to try this place. Next, when you finally get to the door, know that on busy days you may be standing in the doorway holding the door open or you may be stuck waiting outside. There were 2-3 employees working the front, but these employees ring people up for purchases as well as sign people in for play time. I stood in line with my toddler, who was trying to get up from the stroller constantly because the playground is right there and very enticing to a child (it was a struggle, very frustrating) for about 10 minutes waiting for my turn. Then an older woman decided to cut in front of me to make her purchase and despite the staff knowing I’d been standing there, she checked her out anyway. I’d been standing there for so long trying to keep my child and safe, but they cut me in line and that was acceptable. Beyond ridiculous. By the time the other employee finally got to me my face was probably flat out angry. I really didn’t care. This was my first impression of this place and they failed miserably. She asked if it was our first time and made me take a tablet to complete a waiver. Didn’t explain what to do with the tablet once done. The tablet didn’t want to work. Again, all while my hands are full and my toddler is fighting to get out of the stroller, and kids and screaming everywhere around us. It was absolutely packed, despite having to make a reservation ahead of time for a time slot to play for 2 hours. $9 for 2 hours. Also ridiculous. Finally get inside the play area, finally get the tablet to accept my choices and move forward to compete the waiver. Once my child was out playing it seemed ok, despite being absolutely packed. That part was very annoying, when they claim the time slots are to keep crowds down. Within the first 10 minutes of being in to play, a child who was crying the whole time and my child were near each other. I looked away for maybe 30 seconds and suddenly an Asian woman is shouting at me that my child just hit her son. She didn’t speak clear English so I tried to understand her better by asking clarifying questions. She didn’t like that and threw her hands up in disgust. I apologized anyway and moved my child away from her two children. About 10 minutes later I follow my child to the back corner and see her children approaching mine. I’m a little behind mine and I see this woman grab my child by the arm and pull back. I walked up and said DO NOT TOUCH MY CHILD. I didn’t want to make a scene or cause trouble but this woman felt is was acceptable to grab by the arm a stranger’s CHILD. She’s very lucky I’m a calm and rational person. I guess these are the types of people who frequent this place.Later on a little girl was playing at the kitchen area near my child and saw my child put a toy to their mouth. She told me how DISGUSTING she felt that was and looked at them as if they were the nastiest person she’d ever seen. No parent around to tell her how wrong that was. My child is only 2, still learning not to do that and I was right there to correct my child. I left this place feeling attacked today. It was horrible. To top it all off, there are no signs or rules for cups and food to be placed up high out of kids’ reach in the play area. A mom left her straw cup sitting at eye level to toddlers. My toddler ran up and drank from her straw before I could stop them. I was seconds too late to stop it from happening, kids are fast. Prevention is what keeps kids safest. This place fails to do that, we will never be back.

There’s a young blonde woman who is destroying this business. Several hundred comments about her in a Mom’s group on Facebook being out of line. Saying things to young 3 year old children, such as, “he needs to learn he can’t have everything he wants.” You don’t speak to people that way. Does she try to parent special needs children who happen to cry this way in a toy store, as well? Because I have 1. Manager has been contacted & responded the employee confirmed she said it & received a verbal warning. Unacceptable. I won’t be back. I’ve loved it here since I was a small child with my own parents. It is much different now! I hate to see such a historical place lose so much business over an employee who should not be working anywhere near children. Fix this.

This is a fun toystore for kids. Most of the items are aimed at younger kids (1-5). My 2 year old really enjoyed it. There is a play area inside as well that we did not use, so this is not a review of that area. They toys are a bit pricey, but its a variety of items that aren't in every toy aisle in department stores. Worth checking out if you've got little ones. We will likely return to try out the play area as well.

This is a multi review.Playground: we have not used the indoor playground but from what we have seen, since they limit the amount of kids at one time the kids have room to play and not be over crowded. The kids seem to have fun.Store: The store part is way too cramped, they put stuff everywhere and it is real hard to navigate. The prices are on the high side, but they also carry better quality things. Amazon is still cheaper for the same items.Staff: The staff is not friendly. They are not very accommodating and put-offish. I have never had an experience where the staff was willing to help. They stand behind the desk and don't really walk around to help.

Hours for the play area are 10-12 & 1-3. You will not be able to play outside of those times even tho the store is open all day. This should be clearly noted in the hours. Cool place for small toddlers. The cashier never gave me my change for the play fee... I guess you over pay if you don't specifically ask for your change??... and have to wait an hour if you don't ask for the un-advertised hours? shifty...

Used to be one of my favorite places for my kids to come play. After today, I have reconsidered this. Which has resulted in this review. After the employee watching me struggle with my toddler, she claims she can’t find me in their system- we’ve been here multiple times, and tells me I have to sign the waiver again (no big deal) she says I can sign it on the playground. I paid, she took my money. As I sat down on the playground to fill out the waiver, she THEN tells me “they can’t play right now because we just cleaned”. It’s an open play area for KIDS. It is YOUR JOB to clean it. Don’t be rude if you plan to work with or around kids. Some of don’t take kindly to it.

We had my daughter’s first birthday party here over the weekend and it was such a great experience! All of the kids had a blast! The host, Becca and Megan, did a great job not only did they set up everything but they also served the food/cake to the party guest and communicated with me every step of the way! I definitely recommend this place for birthday parties!

Very lovely toy store. They have unique items that you can't find at Target or Walmart. Yes Amazon may have a slightly better price, but I personally do not think it is that big of a difference. I agree that some of the staff are a little standoff-ish. Their board game selection is awesome and I am always finding something new. Overall this is my first go to for gifts.

This is the coolest toy store I’ve been to. We went there for an art class that is offered in the back of the store. My 5 year old son loved the class and loved the teacher. It was a great environment for children to run around and play while parents browse throughout the store. They have a huge pirate ship in the middle of the store that kids can climb and play on and then other jungle gym like stuff in the same area. I’m not sure about the pricing of the toys but the art classes were very reasonably priced.
