I just went to Kroger's tonight and I'd like to share something. They are selling milk that is two weeks past sell by date. They sell past date milk on a regular basis. I've brought this up with the manager several times over the last year. They give the sorry excuse that 'There's no one that works in that department anymore." All the employees that pick grocery orders wouldn't they see that? Kroger's is the third largest grocery chain.

They have a decent selection of Vegan stuff, plus a better variety of other sundries than other stores. Their paper and electronic coupons, theur cash rebates, plus my Ibotta app rebates (use my code, TMSAPMD, to get extra cash for your first rebate), save me a ton.

The Kroger store at 6702 Clinton Hwy, Knoxville, TN 37912. I went grocery shopping today the front end store manager Mike B. Came out the store as I was putting my groceries away in my car walked passed my vehicle took a picture of my license plate. When I asked him why. I was told that someone came in the store and complained stating that I didn’t have a handicap tag. When I reached in my car. And showed him he told me. This has nothing to do with me! instead of apologizing and owning up to his mistake. It had everything to do with me because if I would have gotten a ticket no one would have had to pay for the mistake but me. Don’t just assume because “a customer” came in and said something he should of checked the front for a tag and my license plate for the handicap information

Store has changed. It used to be a very comfortable place to come shop. Several of the employees are rude and could care less about customer satisfaction.

I have gone here for several years and I have noticed a steady decline in customer service. I go in early in the morning when they are just opening up, usually, and they are stocking all over the store. Now this wouldn't be that big of a deal if they were respectful and considerate of the customer, but the vast majority are not and will not move out of the way or, more appropriately, ensure they aren't blocking the aisle in the first place. They're not nice or polite about it, and seemed to just expect me to find another way. I'm not sure why this stocking is always occurring during open business hours, seems like bad business sense to me, but if it must happen this way, please be more respectful, considerate and appropriate to customers...I should not be fighting my way through the store to do my shopping. The other issue has been the self-checkout. I'm usually the only person there and the employee cannot be bothered to help me scan the 5 large bottles of water in my cart but would rather watch me pick them each up and scan them and try to fit them on the scale. Do I really need to ask you to do that? Is that really appropriate? I think you all are forgetting the bottom line: unhappy customers=no customers=no job. There are PLENTY of other stores who can do better.

Usually does not have what I am going for in stock. Produce selection is horrible. Cold and dim in the store. Overall, usually try and avoid this Kroger.

The store is typically well stocked and employees are friendly. It's the closest Kroger to my job/home so I'm grateful that it is dependable.I had an issue today at the gas pumps. I called and spoke to the store manager, Richard, who was incredibly receptive to the feedback and immediately made it right. Issues can happen anywhere but it's the rebound that is most important in my opinion. I will continue shopping at this store and recommending it to my friends and family.

I have always loved Krogers, they not only have everything you need, from fresh fruits, veggies and meats, but the stores are always, clean, neat and organized too.I pray everyday they don't shut down. They have such wonderful, happy to help employees also. They make your shopping experience so pleasant you won't mind the grocery shopping chore anymore folks.Oh, and did I mention they pretty much have everything you might need too, from Pepsi to Tools, and everything in between.Keep up the GREAT work Kroger and keep those wonderful happy and helpfull employees too! :)

I've been using Kroger pickup service for over 2 years now and it's been great! The best part has been the considerate young man by the name of Michael. So far the pickup service has notified me when they are out of certain items and to pick a substitute or not. Also, on occasion they've been running behind, but would also notify me. This service has been a blessing especially during the coronavirus pandemic.

I've been shopping at this location since 2008 as the employees are great and it's conveniently located for me. Over the past few years I've seen a steady decline in this store in product availability. I understand that the current situation makes this difficult everywhere but it's been a problem for the past few years so blaming it all on the pandemic just isn't accurate. Items featured in the sale ad or app are gone (with no evidence that they were ever there to begin with), staple items are sold out for weeks or months in end, large swaths of empty shelves despite the aisles contently blocked by people restocking, and I can usually go to another store... or even another Kroger... and find most of these items readily available. I cannot plan meals because they are invariably out of one or more ingredients. I can't count on them having sometimes even the most basic of items. And this goes back before March of this year. In short, I can not trust this store to have what I need anymore. A few years ago I changed my shopping habits to make this my secondary stop for grocery shopping. Now I think I will simply stop going there at all. I leave every week feeling angry and frustrated and that feeling is compounded when I find things easily somewhere else. Pretty obvious that I should just be going somewhere else instead.

I had a prescription filled there. The lady who waited on me got me a better price than Good RX could. I really do appreciate her.

Smaller store...doesn't offer as many choices. Employees are friendly and helpful except for the pharmacy...poor customer service in the pharmacy as they can have five plus people working and still make you wait...used to be timely in filling prescriptions. I would give the grocery a 4 star, but the pharmacy only 2 star...

This is the junkiest and worst laid out store I have ever been to.Plus the shelves are bare...Nothing that was in the sales ads are on the shelves...The lady at the checkout was very rude.I have been a Kroger shopper for years in Middle Tennessee and this one is the worst EVER!Guess it's time to find another grocery store

Easy to get stuff, low prices and good deals. Also it had what we needed since Walmart didn't have any Famous Dave's pickles we went here and got exactly what we wanted. Thanks for being awesome Kroger!

This review is specific to Kroger brand Plain Bagels. They aren't bagels, they're round pieces of white bread with a hole. They're soft right out of the bag, nothing like real bagels. Waste of money.

Stopped in today on lunch to pick up some last minute items. Overheard two cashiers discussing their “employee Thanksgiving lunch.” They reminisced about when they used to get a hot turkey dinner. It’s a shame to hear that this store’s idea of GRATITUDE for their loyalty working on Thanksgiving Day is cold sandwiches and pie!Mr. Slaten - your employees aren’t just your greatest asset; they are also this company’s greatest critics.

Who knew that the pickup window they gave us for our grocery pickup meant we’d be here for that entire hour window. I can think of a few obvious solutions to their problems but the people that designed this process are in some office in some other state and probably never worked in real-world situations before. People shouldn’t even be leaving wherever they’re coming from until they’ve received a notification that their groceries are actually bagged and ready. Instead we’re given a pickup window that a computer came up with and then only hope the employees can make it happen by that time. In a perfect world maybe.

Like most Krogers, it's well-kept, fresh produce, and friendly helpful staff. But because it's smaller than some other locations, I find their selection is a bit lacking. One thing I really appreciate though, is that Kroger makes it easy to eat healthy, as their fresh selections are always WAY cheaper than other places - yes!

The employees were helpful and the store was clean, what more can you ask for. Things were laid out pretty well, and the things that did not seem to be where I thought they should be were clearly marked. I come here often and almost always have a great experience.

I’ll never shop here again. During this crucial time they are limiting you to only 1 pack of meat(beef, pork, chicken, etc.) how is this supposed to help a family of 5 ? And on top of that they jacked the prices up to almost $20 a package. Luckily I found meat at food city on western ave. They at least limit you to 2 packs and the prices are the same as usual. Good luck everyone!!!

Best Kroger in town! Management will jump in and man a register if they see the lines getting long (usually when there are only 2-3 people in line). Leslie is super friendly. Denise is like the fastest checker ever. And Frank is the perfect example of how management should act.

This location has a florist inside. The floral arrangements are beautiful and reasonably priced. The flower always look so fresh. The florist is availible to assist you when needed. The fruits and vegetables are so inviting and organized. This location is a great place to shop.

I always do the majority of my grocery shopping at Kroger. The Kroger brand is cheaper and it's actually comparable to the national brand. Usually get through the line fairly quickly or you can do self checkout and skip the line!

It’s a grocery store and serves its purpose, but it’s nothing special. I prefer this over Walmart across the street every time, though I would rather go to any Publix. This Kroger usually has what I need in stock, though their produce section could use improvement. Besides a few select staff, the employees I’ve encountered have been less than welcoming. My biggest complaint is how poorly my groceries are bagged; from putting only a couple light items in a bag by themselves to putting bananas with raw meat (despite me always putting groceries in the groups they should be bagged on the belt), I go through the self check-out as often as possible. The store itself is clean enough and makes for an easy stop to run in and grab a few things.
