Had to wade through a group of 6 or 7 employees smoking and blocking the sidewalk in front of the store. All were engrossed in a conversation and in their cigarettes while blowing a huge cloud of smoke in the faces of all trying to shop. Had to step into the street to try to avoid them as they were blocking the sidewalk in front of the store. Rude, disgusting, and indifferent are the words that come to mind. More than this is the fact of the health hazard it presents for people like me who have a heart condition. I complained to a clerk at customer service and got a bored and offended look for my trouble. She obviously didn't want to be bothered. Don't come here if you're expecting courtesy, they don't know what the word means.

I would like to thank the kind employees who go over and beyond for the customers. I wish I knew names but I never got the chance to ask. They know exactly who they are. The ones that work at registers and especially the self check out workers and buggy men. Y’all are awesome and carry the true value of customer service. I rated only four stars because I would like to see more fresh produce out because a lot of it is going bad quickly if not already bad looking. I see this every time I shop!

One is the magic number here folks. 1 Cashier (4-6 people always waiting), 1 Mens Restroom stall (always occupied, literally), and only 1 person knows where anything is.

I placed a pick up order today pick up time was 2:30 -3:30 At 3:10 Kroger's called me a man name Q claiming he was a manager and he wanted to know when I was coming to pick up my order. I told him when I got theret I get it. He then called back 2 different times. When I went to get the order I was left just sitting there, so I left to go get my children. When I came back In 20 mins for a order that Kroger's kept calling me about they brought it out 15 mins later. There was only one car there to get a pick up. So they were not busy. I asked to speak to a manager, wyn lady man came to the phone, when I asked her when did Kroger's start calling customers rushing customers to come pick up their orders. She said she didn't know. She was not helpful at all. She was very very rude and she hung up in my face as she laughed about my experience. This management and employees at this location is very lazy rude, nasty attitudes, they never have no registers open ,when u go in the early 7am morning the employees have a attitude if u shop in the store before 9. Because they have to open a drawer. So it's a lot of huffing and puffing. And throwing your groceries around. I have spoke to several managers at this location that don't do nothing pass taken a complaint on the phone. The managers and employees are friends so that explains all the dismissive behavior. The store stay having homeless people harassing customers coming in and out the store. Employees are seen standing in circles outside the store smoking cigarettes instead of In The store working like they get paid to do. This location needs to be shut down. They act like where bothering them to come to this location to shop.

I don't know why this kroger is like this, but it is just a lower quality kroger than the others. Even though this is closer, we usually end up going to Fountain City.It is dated, doesn't have a butcher or other services, has less selection, and I have found the prices are actually HIGHER than the other kroger.If you just need a quick stop for something basic, it is fine... but Kroger should definitely revamp this location.

Every single time I order a pick up from this location it’s wrong. They are always forgetting my items I paid for. One time in December they completely forgot to even get the refrigerated items which was quite literally half of my order. The past few months it’s been a nightmare. Last night was my last straw, I will be ordering pick ups from other locations from here forward. I even did a review asking to be contacted by management from my last order disaster and was never contacted.this location needs to retrain the young lady doing pick up orders, the older lady hasn’t gotten my orders wrong.

Went here today. After finding 2 or 3 fully stocked shelves filled with nothing but expired food, we left and went to another Kroger... never been to a Kroger that stocked expired food. I will say the expired food was discounted.

They have the absolute worst customer service with online pick up. I sat waiting for an hour, made two requests to speak to a manager and the guy said she wouldn’t leave the store to speak to me, I requested a refund and they wouldn’t do that either, called customer service from the parking spot and claimed they can’t refund my money only the store can. I told the delivery guy multiple times I would just go in and gather my groceries myself if they’d just cancel and he just kept saying they’re gathering it just wait a few more minutes. One hour lost for them to come out and tell me they weren’t filling my order today because they’re too behind. NEVER AGAIN!

The customer service desk employee who works during the day is awesome! At my local Kroger, I know if I need anything from customer service it's going to be at least 30 minutes, but here it's fast and friendly and I really appreciate it and hope she is recognized, I don't know her name but she has blonde hair and I think it's curly.

Even if there is a lot of people in the store, they always have plenty of cashiers to get you checked out quickly. Really good store.

They had my Lay chips on sale for 2 for 5 and that is a great deal. The real price is 2 for 7 and that is too high. But lately it's been 4 for 8 and that's my best deal..... And yes I LOVE CHIPS,....I AM A CHIP ADDICT ....BUT THEY DIDN'T HAVE MY FAVORITE HOT LAYS CHIPS.....

⚠️ The general manager doesn't care who works or leaves here. General manager doesn't hire help. My mother was there this morning and had bought a buggy full of groceries for a week and there was NO cashier. She had to go through self checkout!⚠️ Also I want to call out for the safety and health of others, BEWARE when you buy FRESH PRODUCE and BAKERY PRODUCTS, they DO NOT keep things FRESH and UPDATED! I have seen Strawberries and grapes with hairy white fuzz on them. CHECK THEM! Bakery bread has green in them and the meat smells rotten! BEWARE!

Ordered Kroger.com delivery. Let me give you some advice. DON'T! It is a mess. The Broadway location has always been a bit chaotic but to say they did nothing right in this review would be an understatement. The shopper replaced the same items with more expensive items of the same brand, I understand some things would be substituted but not at this capacity. Then the driver takes my food to another apartment complex, drops it off and doesn't notify anyone, even though I required a signature because my order was over $300. We had to go and find our food and walk it back home from two blocks away. Has Kroger's made any initial contact to "make things right"? NOPE. I don't plan they will either. Terrible experience, I gave it two stars because Kroger's is not normally this bad and I wanted to offer a little positivity. Never again will I order from them and I would suggest you don't either.

First off I'd like to thank the kind women who works at the Bakery: Jamie despite working in the bakery section and being called by the phone and by the managers you still managed to help me out at the deli counter. I appreciate your level of customer service and will be back thanks to you. 😄💗Secondly to the person that left her post at the Deli counter to do whatever it is you were doing 🤨 (my guess sucking down the nicotine off a cigarette) I ask you to thank your fellow employee for doing your job ontop of her own.Other than that, the store is clean and food is fresh. I will be back ❤

Pretty sure this is America’s worst Kroger. Spoiled produce and meats are on the shelves. Staff is rude and unprofessional. On top of that, the pick up service is a absolute joke. Pretty sure they try to give you the spoiled food to clean the shelves.

Didn’t catch their names, but the gentleman scanning my items and the two guys bagging my groceries were some of the most efficient and friendly grocery store employees I think I’ve ever met in my life. I had a huge amount of groceries and they knocked it out within a few minutes and helped me load the car without me even asking them to. Today is 12/18/21 if anyone in management looks at this review and wants to give those guys a raise, haha. A+++

This store no longer has good organic produce. Very inconsistent. This store is also dirty, the shopping carts are rarely in the store with few handheld baskets and the shelves are seldom fully stocked.

I found everything I needed just fine. The store was clean and well organized. One thing that I have noticed the past few times in there was only one live cashier works now but all the self serve are open. Meaning that there is a wait in both places, maybe they should consider having more than one cashier.

I’m not one to complain but I do the Kroger pickup order often and most of the time everything comes out on time but the past 2 time I’ve come to this location I’ve waited over 40 minutes to get my order. My order was supposed to be pick up between 4 and 5 but it’s 5:55 and I still have no order. They said they were still getting it ready and it seems everyone else’s order is ready but mine.. not sure what’s going on but something needs to change.

This Kroger is okay. It has all the basics but it definitely doesn't have nearly as many items as the Kroger in Fountain City. I find that I also have to go to the Fountain City location to get everything I am actually looking for even though I live right next to this one. And this one always smells like smoke.

Overall ok. I had a cashier walk away from the register and stand at the customer service desk talking and joking while I was at her register with my groceries. She was at the register while I was placing my stuff and walked away. She looked at me and turned her back to me. The bagger apologized to me. He said that was completely unacceptable. I didn't make a scene. Other than that. It's ok.

This Kroger is Alright!! I usually shop here due to the location.. The prices are usually good and the store brand's are just as good as the name brand products.. The staff are usually friendly and willing to take your groceries to the car.. The people vary due to the location there's alot of elderly, homeless and etc. It's a safe place to shop never had an issue been shopping here for years!!

The staff there always have an attitude especially when it’s self checkout and you need them to put a coupon in then they have to actually move to do something honestly I don’t like self checkout but when only one line is open with an actual employee scanning and your still bagging Krogers is saving a lot of money we scan or items bag them when that use to be their job they need to do a personality check before they hire there employees
