I've been trying to use this Walgreens for the past year, and have been in multiple times picking up prescriptions. The pick-up times for RX's are atrocious every time. I will only go if I notice only 1 car, or none in the drive thru. If the store looks busy I won't even try going in to pick up. Multiple times I've waited 20 minutes (give or take) when I am only the second one in line, and sometimes waiting 5 minutes just for someone to acknowledge I am even there if I'm the only one. There's always several people running around in back. I have seen on more than one occasion the cashier asking for help, and EVERYBODY ignores them. Even getting the pharmacist over to tell you about your RX can take an extra 5 minutes just for the pharmacist to read you what is already on your bottle. They won't give you your RX without waiting for the pharmacist to speak, even if I've had the same RX filled multiple times before. Either this store is extremely short staffed, or they have a huge issue managing how their employees run the pharmacy. The regular checkout in the store has always been great if you need to grab something, but I would steer clear of the pharmacy if you don't have an additional 30 minutes to spare.

This location in particular is ridiculous. I do not go to Walgreens anymore for prescriptions because they never have your stuff ready whenever you get there for pick up. Call hours in advance? Still waiting 30 minutes. Were you told that they were getting it ready? Show up, just kidding there was a hold on the insurance it will be another 15-20 minutes. Oh you are going to pay for the prescription instead? STILL NOT READY. There’s no excuse this has been going on for years. I changed to Church hill drug store and not even 5 minutes and your prescription is already ready. By the time I call church hill drug store and refill my prescription and getting there it’s already ready absolute best drug store in town! Walgreens is an absolute joke. I would go lower than a 1 if allowed.

Lady with braids in this pharmacy was rude and throwing the meds on the floor, huffing and puffing trying to find covid tests we wanted to pick up she laughed on the phone when she asked what kind of insurance this person had and they told her. She told the person on the phone that she would would see how much it would be and would call them back but acted very snobbish her demenor was about sad if you hate your job the quit and go to another job, and let someone else who wants to do it step in. No need to throw meds and act in the way she did . Just left there.

Terrible, just terrible they don’t wear name tags so I don’t know who to specifically call out but they were so loud referring patient information to the extent that I heard my own private information numerous times while waiting more than 30 minutes for my consultation, which was scheduled at 12 and I left there at 1245 which insane for a flu shot. The white girl with the messy bun and glasses LOWER YOUR VOICE! Yelling across the pharmacy when patient information is private. When I tell you hand on the Bible it took her less than 5 seconds to administer the shot. It was a hot mess highly don’t recommend here. I was in a rush the Walgreens 3 miles further down the road is much better!

Friday at 3:00 p.m. I call in to get a prescription filled and didn't hear anything so I called at 7:30 at night and they said it would be ready for pickup in 5 to 10 minutes I live 20 minutes away and when I got here they said it's not going to be ready until tomorrow this Walgreens is by far the worst Walgreens you can go to I urge everyone to use CVS

This Walgreens is really messed up...they do not care for their customers...reason i kno is because im a regular and get my meds every week..if i dont ill get sick and could die and been sick for 2 days due to them letting random people get those meds...now i cant get mine.. this is goin to cost mey job my place my everything...why not make sure your regular people that have refills every week is taken care of...SMH..NOT HAPPY...Hope nothin happens to me i have 3 kids to raise..

Very unprofessional, a young lady there long dark reddish hair and a braid in scrubs pharmacy Tech I walked in calling the pharmacy. I had been hung up on sorry. I walked in just as the lady was picking up the phone and hanging it up right in front of me laughing about it. Their systems were down so I guess they thought considering the systems were down. Everything was down, and they didn't have to do their job. It's women like you that give us hard-working women a bad name.

The best thing stores can do is hire someone to help answer questions for women in the makeup and creams department.. Vickie Ramsey is awesome and she's always willing to help me with any questions I might have.. I always look forward to her help... I would vote her BEST EMPLOYEE!! Thank you so much Vickie for your help each time I shop at Walgreens..

Worst pharmacy ever. This location refused to sell me insulin syringes. My dog is diabetic and I ran out late at night. I usually get them at Walmart and other Walgreens locations without any problems, but I went to this one since they were open 24hrs. The pharmacist wanted me to show proof of a prescription which I didn't have because I've been getting the Walmart insulin that doesn't require a prescription. She then said that their policy requires prescription and that they have too many junkies in the area. Basically calling me a junkie. This Walgreens would rather risk someone's life just to prevent a junkie from using a clean needle. I am just amazed at the pure stupidity of someone who has a PhD.

It took Walgreens 2 days to transfer my medicine to another pharmacy. I can not run out of these meds, my regular pharmacy had to call them 3 times to get the transfer actually done. This is unacceptable and I will never give Walgreens any of my business.

This place honestly deserves 0 stars. This was the first, and last time I will ever try and use them. My daughter was diagnosed with pink eye in both eyes. It was so bad, that her poor eyes was literally swelled shut. I went here to try and get her eye drops. They ended up having a power surge and her prescription got lost, even though it was already filled. Got the text it was ready to pick up, and the person in front of me in line literally picked theirs up. I waited 2 hours to get her drops. And ended up have to go to a different one to get them because no one would help me here! This place is a disgrace! 0 STARS!!!

They seem incompetent , short staffed. Some are rude , and unknowleged. By far the worst Walgreens I've been to. On my Walgreens app my prescriptions will say they are ready to pickup. When I go pick them up at this location they have on 3 different occasions in the past month tell me my prescriptions was not ready and to give them 30 more minutes to an hour. I never have this kind of reoccurring issue from other Walgreens I've used before. When I call this Walgreens pharmacy to check on my prescriptions I get put on hold and then they hang up. I've called 3 times in a row today and never got to speak to anyone because of getting hung up on after being on hold. This pharmacy seems dysfunctional to say the least. I'm only giving 2 star's because I understand it's a 24 hour pharmacy that gets busy from time to time. But this Walgreens has lots of issues that needs to be resolved by the company or higher mgmt over the pharmacy itself!!! It's ridiculous

Switched to this pharmacy from cvs because of wait times and phones never answered at the cvs. However since switching, even though the pharmacist are very nice it has since slowed way down and takes awhile to get through lines. I asked what happen and was told they had to cut hours and it caused some problems being short handed, so I guess like the rest of the world since covd😩. Now I try to pick up all rx at same time of month and factor in 30 minutes to an hour wait times each time

If you call and they tell you your prescription will be ready in 30 minutes- they are working on it now. Don't believe it! Be prepared to give them an hour minimum and then you'll still be extremely lucky if it's ready. Gave them 30 minutes, left the house with a timer set and the 30 minute timer ran down- 15 to 20 more minutes she says! All those people behind the counter and they still can't get a prescription out in the time frame they state! If it's going to take a blooming hour, say so! Don't waste my time cause I have better things to do than hanging around waiting for your "it'll be ready in 30 minutes " to pass yhree times over!

Terrible, terrible. Do yourself a favor and succumb to whatever ailment you are dealing with because after dealing with the pharmacy here You will lose all hope. They constantly mess up prescriptions, get them confused, do not fill them correctly. They always have ridiculously long wait times.

Inconsiderate, rude, and incompetent phamacy location. Make you wait extra days for medications after they tell to come get them. May refuse to fill one of your monthly medications. 5 star reviews are mostly bogus for this store. Terrible Every Time! Tried here several times. Now I drive right by it to go to a different Walgreens every month. Talking about patients and callers like trash in front of me! Crazy bad place. The worst pharmacy in the region perhaps. You don't deserve any stars.

Never a problem at this location and it's where I do most all our business from getting prescriptions, items we need, or flu shots. The employees are excellent at what they do and the service is fast even be on busy days. Sometimes we wait to pick up and sometimes we leave and come back. The place is clean, tidy, well lit, organized, things are in stock. We shop there alot and use our rewards as much as possible. They have milk, bread, eggs, cereals, and anything you need after normal business hours. And they are 24 hour as well. Love shopping here and just looking at items for another time. You can get delicious snacks, drinks and candy here too pretty cheap. Great store, great employees. Always smiling, happy to serve. Love our store.

The pharmacy here stays pretty busy, but they generally have a good amount of people working to get everyone taken care of. I recently had a surprising experience at the pharmacy counter. My discount card didn't work like it previously had, which made my prescription $30 higher. Instead of making me pay that, the pharmacy tech found me another prescription card that worked to bring the price down to the previous amount. Very thankful for that. This is a pretty good Walgreens. They're very aware of their customers and try to get them taken care of quickly.

Walgreens has always been a great place to shop. I shop at the 1420 W. Stone Drive location. Wonderful, helpful staff.... always! The store & parking lot are always clean. And their app is pretty awesome too!

Very rude and difficult to deal with. My mother is a cancer patient, and I'm about to have open heart surgery and have a baby under the age of 6 months. The last two times we went to get my prescriptions filled along with my baby's prescription they were nothing but rude to us, over-talked us, lied to the pharmacist on duty about their rude behavior towards us to make sure the pharmacist treated us poorly, and overall made what should have taken 15 minutes take over an hour because they tried to punish my mother and make her wait even longer after she told them they were being ridiculous.We used to love this pharmacy, and never had issues, but customer service has gone downhill the past three months due to the pharmacy techs having rude attitudes, refusing to listen to customers, then lying about their behavior when you try to speak to the pharmacist on duty. I just had to beg the pharmacist over the phone to fill my baby's ranitidine while my mother was still standing there thanks to this poor behavior from the techs. We will be transferring all of our prescriptions elsewhere, and reporting this behavior to higher ups.

Very unprofessional to be discussing personal business in front of customers . And then after waiting for a good 15 minutes or longer decide to fill the refill request and then tell the customer oh we only have 28 of those I can give you a three day supply and then you can come back tommorrow ..... for what ??? If u don’t have enough today what the hell makes u think that you will have plenty tommorrow ..... LAZY PEOPLE......... No thank you we will take our business to another Walgreens the is very professional and won’t discuss their work schedules and personal business in front of customers ...... props to the Colonial Heights Walgreens

The worst and slowest pharmacy in the entire nation, I have finally had it. This has been allowed to go on for years, too long. They have had all day to fill a prescription, I've waited in line for 30 minutes with a broken foot, and they didnt have it ready because my insurance didn't cover it. The amount of the prescription was only 14.44. I said why didn't you just fill it? They said it would be 10 to 15 min and I'd have to get back in line, a line that is wrapping around their building presently. So my question, who is running this pharmacy at this branch? I know Sarah was the lead pharmacist tonight, I also know this is the second run-in I've had with her, and the only pharmacist I've ever had a problem with. Another question... I sat there for 30 min and watched a car sit at the window and not move for at least 20 min of the time I was there. So they allow this car to just sit there but I have to get back in line and wait what will likely be another hour. I will NEVER USE this Walgreens again. I am calling to have my prescription transferred to a much better one down the road. The worst drugstore I have ever dealt with.

Today I entered the Walgreens while leaning heavily on a cart as I have a painful back injury. I tried to check out with a girl in the middle counter and she told me I had to walk all the way around the counter when all she had to do was pivot to wait on me. That was one cold hearted ***ch if I ever met one. Think I will come back? absolutely not. Why would some one be working in a drug store who has no compassion for injured, sick or in pain persons? The clerks can all stand around and gossip about the customers. Seems management could select a better kind of clerk.
