Their rental services exhibit substandard quality, characterized by improper loading procedures, provision of equipment that fails to meet industry standards and leads to damages, and a lack of quality control measures. This not only results in wasted time and rental duration for us but also reflects a pervasive lack of professionalism, which is disheartening. Their policy of non-refundability on rentals further underscores their inability to provide suitable rental items.

They sold me a part for my machine and I had the make, model yr and model number with me. The part didn't fit and was wrong part. I went back after more than 30 days with original part in original package and with my receipt.They would not take it back and would not refund the wrong item. They sold me the wrong thing even though I had all the model numbers and make etc. looks like the parts guy maybe don't know what he is doing? Three different people refused to help me due to it being outside their 30 day limit. I would understand if I picked the part myself but they picked it, they said it would fit, and they instructed me to buy the one that was wrong. It's no way to do business and I would never have done that to a customer myself.In the end I told them they obviously need the money more than I do and left the part on the counter and told their new manager to keep it and sell it to someone else. He Quickly Snapped, that they would. So I walked out the door and left it with them so they can make a little extra cash because they must really need it bad to treat a good customer they way the treated this situation. <><I thought there would be a follow up or a call by Brian or one of the owners about how I was treated but it obvious that they don't care. Oh well it's there loss. This year I bought 875 bags of mulch and got it delivered by Lowe's. I typically always spend money with local business and not corp America. But not any more, or at least Not Ever Again at leeper Hdwe.I also see several other reviews where customers were treated poorly, it's a shame. They have a really nice store and good selection but customer service and management is hard to get past when your spending your dollars with them.

I really like Leeper hardware. It’s a great local store with lots of merchandise. Today I was shopping for electrical wire. You can buy it by the foot here in the unit price is about 1/3 what you’ll pay at Lowe’s. And you don’t have to buy 25 feet when you only need 5 feet.

Ashley in service was awesome and great communication with quality and very fast turn around. So because of her I went upstairs and bought a new chainsaw I needed with Michael and again a 5 star experience. Let me mention that I haul my power equipment from Canton NC to Leeper cause I know it’s fixed right and Ashley is outstanding.

Love buyin local n dealin with leeper hardware theyve always took good care of me! Hard to get at lowes n home depot!

100% the worst! I bought a new string trimmer there three years ago and have had nothing but problems since. Two weeks into ownership it sat in their repair shop for two months. When I got it back it worked but wasn't right. It leaked gas the day I picked it up and still does. It works sometimes and sometimes it doesn't. Here I am struggling again. It was BRAND NEW! They should just exchanged it. Hete I am struggling with this pos again. Thanks Leeper! AVOID AT ALL COST!!!! Absolutely garbage customer service. DEFINITELY ALL ABOUT THE DOLLAR NOT THE PEOPLE!!!Response to Owner/Brian: SERIOUSLY that's your response?! Give you my practically unused (because it usually won't start, less than 5 hours on it) for 20% off a new one! THAT'S ABSOLUTELY PREPOSTEROUS!!!! So really you're not saving me any money, just trying to make yourselves look good! You're trying to get me coming and going! Wow!!! You actually think your offer is helpful?? Give you back a (practically new)$200 string trimmer so I spend $160 more on a second piece of equipment ypu won't stand behind!!!! PLEASE PLEASE TELL ME THAT RESPONSE WAS A JOKE!!! You had your chance to make it right when it sat n your repair shop for two months 2 weeks after I purchased it. Thank you for proving my point of just being about money and not wanting to help. Was doing some plumbing work and couldn't get the back bolts off the sink underneath the faucet. The staff here introduced me to a brand new tool that absolutely helped immensely. First job took me almost 3 hours second time 30 minutes from start to finish to change the faucet out. Price was extremely reasonable and I will definitely be back!!! Have used the repair shop too and they were great also!!

Excellent service provided on replacing a fuse and a relay on my John Deere X 595 tractor. Plus, they lubed and serviced all the moving parts, and sharpened the mower blades. I am very happy with the service that they did, and would highly recommend them to friends and family to Leeper Hardware.

Went into Leepers Hardware today for the first time and last time. Not a friendy bunch. I needed assistance, ended up leaving and going to Lowes. I was glared at by a girl employee for approaching to ask a question she wouldn't speak to me. It was obvious I bothered her by approaching her. I found a man employee, but interrupted whatever he was doing on his phone. He couldn't help me but was willing to take my phone number and have someone call me later. There were at least 3 employees that I saw, the store was not busy, and I needed to leave my phone number? Nah! I won't be back. I doubt they care. Lol
