If you love riding the trails on your horse or mule, beautiful overlooks, comfy stalls and top notch camping facilities please check this place out. We've been several times and this is my favorite place to camp and ride. The staff is like family and do everything they can to make you feel at home!

Well maintained camp and trails. Campsites are spaced well and easy to access. Trails offer single track and buggy width. Open pasture or wooded forest with vista views.

Absolutely loved my time here and will be back for hopefully many more weekends! This place is ran by the absolute sweetest and most down-to-earth people. They were so accommodating (check in was supposed to be at 2 but allowed us to come at 10 for no extra charge and we also stayed a few hours past check out time for no charge as well). The trails were easy 90% of the time and moderate the other 10% (or the trails my group went on at least). They were very well maintained and mud was kept to a minimum. There are so many options for staying overnight...for both horses and humans! I was thrilled to have paddocks as an option as my horses are happier outside. My group stayed in the Fritz cabin which was very nice, albeit rustic. The only part less than ideal about the cabin/trip was the shower drain was clogged and the dishes in the kitchen were a bit sparse... but definitely wouldn't feel right taking a star away for this. Overall amazing experience and will be back!

This place is absolute perfection! The trails are meticulously maintained like nothing I’ve ever seen. I’ve travelled for 20 years all over & this is the first equine campground I’ve been blown away by. Customer service is 5 out of 5 stars also. My stalls were nice & they gave me fresh shavings when I got there free. My campsite was a nice size & very close to level when I backed in. When I left I didn’t even have to clean my stall. I’ve never seen that before either. Thank you East Fork for this unbelievable experience. I will be back !!!

Spent 3 days/2 nights here just this week. Our group of 4 had an excellent time. Rented a cabin and stabled our horses in the stalls that came with it. Cabin was perfect, stalls were very well cared for and near the cabin. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Trails were awesome and well maintained. Varied types for lots of riding opportunities. Highly recommend for a great trail ride experience!Dog-friendliness: Cabins are pet friendly with a small up charge and deposit.Picnic area: Picnic areas along the trails all have horse tie ups and picnic tables

We love EFS . It is a little pricey, but they have everything you could possibly need, every type of accommodation for you and for your horse. The trails are the best and your not going to find better views anywhere

We have stayed at most horse campgrounds in the Jamestown Tn area, and without a doubt East Fork Stables is the best. The trails are the best maintained in the area and offer a wide variety of riding with a mix of wooded single path to some sandy roads. Great views and miles to choose from and very clearly marked. They also offer several maps that help you choose the route that best suites your group. The camp sites are level, shaded and well maintained with nice picnic tables and fire rings plus a garbage can at each site. Stalls are big, well lit, water readily available and cleaning equipment close, along with big area for loading and unloading. They also have round pins and an open arena. People are very nice.

Stable your horse in the barn. Stay in the campground or rent a cabin. Enjoy the beautiful scenery of every season from the back of your horse.

Always great! The staff is friendly and helpful. The campground and barns are well maintained and the trails are wonderful. My only complaint is the bath house could use a cleaning and some maintenance.

Great place to ride and camp. Trails are well maintained and well marked. Plenty of stalls, plus a riding arena and obstacle course in camp.My one gripe from recent visits was the automatic "facility use fee" we are charged for in addition to site and stall costs.

Wow! This place is great, it's clean, has a convenient location, and has everything you need! The staff is fantastic. Shout out to the maintenance guy for saving us time and money when we had a flat tire on our truck! The plug is still holding 😉

East Fork is a super easy going kinda place to bring your horses to ride and camp. We got a camping spot back in campsite B which was super nice because it wasn't crowded at all and we had plenty of room to spread out and tie our horses up. I also like the location because it is far enough from the strip that you won't be covered in dust all day and night and there is plenty of shade from the trees. Campsite B is close to the pavilion and a clean, cool, and quiet restroom and bathhouse. Our horses had stalls in barn A which was also nice, each stall came with a bag of shavings which was plenty for 2 nights. We didn't have to strip our stall when we left and the stalls had hay managers, a bucket hanger, and a feed bowl mounted to the wall. There were pallets in the aisle way to keep your hay and no one bothered what wasn't theirs. We went for Racking on the Edge which was a bit dissapointing this year as there were not many people or horses there at all in comparison to last year but we still had a good time! The included breakfast with your stay is so good and there are so many options. The staff was friendly and helpful in the office and the gift shop and I felt their prices were also very reasonable. I did knock off one star because a lot of the trails are super rocky and the gravel all around tends to be a little hard on horses feet, plus the ponds are full of algae. There are round pens to work your horses in, a huge arena with barrels, and even an obstacle course to play around on with your horse. Would love to see a jump or two in the arena to allow for even more diverse cross training availability while there. If you go during the summer come prepared for it to be HOT, even in the shade. Bring lots of water for you and buckets for your horses.

East Fork is my favorite place to camp and ride horses. Unlike some camps, this campground is operated with a professional competence and a helpful, courteous attitude. The horse facilities are the best I have seen. The barns are well lit, have concrete aisleways and large stalls with wooden sides. Ample manure forks and wheelbarrows are provided with well-placed multiple water spigots and hoses. A concrete wash area with a heavy duty hitching post is provided. The trails are maintained wonderfully. There is a nice mix of narrow, more challenging trails and some wider, open trails to canter. The camp includes an arena and an obstacle course. They have a small store that sells a variety of products one might need for camping and riding. The camp sites all have a gravel area for the campers and most sites have trees and shade. They also have a dance hall with a full kitchen, smokers, and a place for a band. Give it a try, you will be glad you did.

Beautiful place to go riding. So, if you enjoy the outdoors, and taking your horses on trail rides, this is A MUST for Fentress County. I've actually Road Avery Trail they've had more than once from riding by myself 2 the good old days riding in a team driven buggy with my grandpa, back when i was still a kid. So as a saying real beautiful scenery and some great trails that offers different difficulty so well-balanced from the beginning Rider to the most advanced I never will forget one time me and my grandpa went and there's a big ride going on that year so there was a lot of us and we had stopped for break and ate lunch and I bounced out of the buggy and flopped down on a old log well lo and behold right next to my left eye mean literally right beside me was the cold at copperhead you talk about scared to death considering I absolutely hate snakes playlist to say I think I bounce that never hit the ground jumping back in my grandpa's buggyOne of those memories that'll never be forgotten.
