Called to see what was holding up my husband's prescription, it was over a week late. It was pain medication, as he is a cancer patient. I was told that they did not have the prescription in the pharmacy so I asked them why they hadn't called other branches to find it. The pharmacist was very rude so I got rude back. When she hung up the phone. She accidentally left it on speakerphone so I got to hear her bash me for about 30 minutes. I've been with Walgreens for 40 years and never had an issue until the last year. I don't know why everyone is so thoughtless when it comes to the care of their patients. It's totally unacceptable. We will be changing.

Absolutely the worst pharmacy! I went to pick up a prescription I waited two weeks to get to be told "you already picked it up." Neither the pharmacist or pharmacist manager Roy would help. Everyone was horribly rude and just kept pointing the finger at me. I tried telling the pharmacist the person on the card wasn't even my name, or anyone I knew. He just kept shrugging me off and gave no care! They are dispensing medication without checking who it's being given too. The pharmacist gave zero care someone out there was taking my medicine. I called corporate and filed a complaint. These people should be fired...just horrible Walgreens!

My husband and I just moved to Jackson a month ago and have used Walgreens for years; have spent lots of $$ over the years. However, this location's pharmacy (3144 N Highland) has the worst attitude and demeanor. The techs and pharmacist are very rude, condescending, and patronizing from asking for perscriptions to be transferred, arguing about the spelling of our last name, to requesting a flu shot over the last three weeks. Carefull, Walgreens. People that walk into your store/pharmacy choose to do so. We are moving our business to a local pharmacy.

The pharmacist that helped us with our COVID tests for travel was so kind and helpful. She was very delightful. But we had to call back after we left and Lindsey answered the phone....this young lady has no business working with the public. She was extremely rude and didn’t have an ounce of compassion in her body. She talked to us as if we were incompetent and we are both healthcare professionals. She would not want someone treating her or one of her family members the way she treated us.

Would give 0 if that were an option. 3 times I've been to this store to get prescriptions for my wife and they always claim they never received it. I also used to get a maintenance medicine here because it was convenient but it was never the same price twice and once when a medication was recalled by Walgreens and to bring it to the store they said they would not replace and I would have to pay full price for a substitute.

Not sure how on earth they can deny to fill my prescription. At the last minute I'm told I need a prior authorization to pay for my depression medicine.. well, usually if that happens I will just pay cash and get a few until the PA comes through, this place denied me paying cash and said they couldn't fill any of my prescription! Now this will be the 2nd night of no depression medicine for me which can actually be deadly.

How is this place still running? The employees are completely incompetent and really have no business being in the customer service industry. I have been in this store numerous times only because of it's close proximity to where I live. On one occasion, I went in to get a photo that I had printed (don't get me started on this particular department). I was handed the envelope and decided to look at it before I left (smart choice). The wrong photo! 10 minutes later, the right photo in hand, I made it to the check out lane and was assisted by the same person that helped me find my photo. "Would you like to donate money today?" was the first thing they asked. I had just wasted all this time and because they are trained like robots to spew this kind of stupidity out without any disregard of the customers experience or the fact that the single photo was actually less than the amount they were asking me to donate never even crossed their so called mind. O.k., I'm done ranting.

Two days ago, on Friday, Nov. 1, 2019, I presented an RX to this location at roughly 2:15 PM. I asked if they had discount cards. They said no.I returned to my prescriber to obtain a discount card. The pharmacy tech (PT) told me it was not registering immediately and would likely require 30 to 60 minutes to "stop timing out." Despite living an hour away, I stuck around and waited -- patiently, too! I made sure to be polite.I checked back two times over the following 40-some minutes. Both check-ins yielded no good news -- it was still "timing out," the PT said.The PT, only after 40-odd minutes, asked the pharmacist, named Roy, what was going on. He asked for my ID. I retrieved it from the parking lot and presented it to Roy.Only then, after 40 minutes of waiting, did Roy tell me he was not willing to fill my prescription because I live in Martin. Keep in mind my prescriber is just 1/4 mile away from this location, on the corner of North Highland and University.Why wasn't I refused in the first place, upon first attempting to fill here? Why did I have to wait so long for a refusal? Why didn't the PT ask the pharmacist for help immediately upon experiencing issues with the discount card I presented, instead of asking his insight after so long?I returned to my prescriber after having no luck at this Walgreens. The prescriber called Walgreens and asked Roy why I was refused. My prescriber didn't get a straight answer, though Roy did say that the fact that my valid, state-issued ID was bent was one reason in his refusal to fill my RX.

The staff in the pharmacy is rude. The pharmacist told me that he can pick and choose who he fills prescriptions for and he will not fill mine. Thats fine cause i can pick and choose who me and my family do bussiness with. The indian pharmacist needs to be fired.

Went in to get my covid vaccine that I had scheduled for 5:30pm. They told me they weren’t going to open a new vial just for me since I was the last one for the day. Told me to come back tomorrow. Needless to say i was frustrated considering places are begging & even paying Americans to get vaccinated.

Pharmacy is SUPER SLOOOOW. Also, if a doc calls something in. Don't expect it to be ready when you get there Edit: 4 years later, they have somehow gotten slower, and even less friendly.

it's Walgreens. What do you expect? It's not a five star place. It's more like dollar general store just much higher prices and Walgreens sells drugs while dollar general don't. I really don't understand how you can rate a drug dealing company.

Apparently this "24 hour" Walgreens doesn't open until 8am. This is just one reason I hate Walgreens. They buy out all their competition that is open when you need something and change it to a "Walbank". 😤
