A very well-run Home Improvement Center with a fair pricing structure and Personnel that are willing to help you not only find but load your purchases for you. I feel their Garden Center and related products are the best in town. The only downside that I could state is that during the supper hour they were very short personnel at the checkout for the garden center. You think that would be one place that they would want to be sure that both checkouts were manned particularly this time of year.

If you’re in the market for appliances, do NOT, I repeat, do NOT waste your time, money and sanity dealing with Home Depot. I ordered a washer and dryer and was given a delivery date of one week out from when I ordered. I was told I would get a call the night before with a delivery window. I never received a call so I contacted customer service the day of delivery and was told there was a problem with the truck and I would not be getting my delivery, so it was rescheduled for 2 days later. Again, I was told I would get a call the night before with a delivery window. 8:00 pm the night before and still no call. So I contacted customer service to check the delivery status and they promised me I would get my delivery the next day but they did not have a time frame yet. The next morning I reach out again to customer service and they tell me there is no stop listed for me, but they can schedule me for the next available slot which is another week out. The whole reason I ordered the specific washer and dryer is that I would get it within one week, so I was extremely frustrated to be told it would be another week. Each time I contacted customer service, they told me they could not get the delivery company to answer the phone. I had zero confidence in the delivery company so I went back into the store to get a refund so I could go across the street to Lowe’s and buy a set in stock that could deliver in less than a week. I get to the store and they say they can only give me a partial refund for the accessories/hoses and that they can’t refund the washer and dryer until they have been received and scanned in at the store. It’s crazy to me that I have to wait to get my money back for their screw up and I was desperately in need of a washer and dryer so I asked to speak to the store manager. They called him, but he couldn’t be bothered to come out of his office. So I only get $120 back and the remaining $1200 is on hold (due to their mistakes) and I am responsible for calling customer service every day to check on the status of the cancelled order so I know when it has been received to know when I can go back to the store for the rest of my refund. Even the employees in the store acknowledged that their appliance delivery service sucks and that they weren’t surprised by my situation ! Do better for your customers and employees Home Depot. I wasted 2 weeks dealing with this mess and waiting to get my money back so I could go to Lowe’s, which I should have gone to from the beginning. The process at Lowe’s was so much smoother. I was able to track my order on the Lowe’s app, my delivery window was confirmed ahead of time and the delivery company arrived when promised. Their service was exceptional. Lowe’s delivered, installed and cleaned up in less than 30 minutes. As I left this Home Depot store with my refund receipt (Finally) at the bottom of the receipt, it says “Did we nail it?” 😂 No, Home Depot. You did not nail it, not even close.

Avoid ordering appliances from Home Depot. They delivered a damaged washer and dryer to our home. The delivery was returned to the warehouse and home depot rescheduled the delivery numerous times without contacting us. I spent hours on the phone with customer support to no avail. We eventually received our order, except we only received a washer as the dryer was on backorder. The dryer delivery was rescheduled 2x without notification, and the day it finally arrived was after less than one hour after I had been told they weren't delivering. They offered me a small credit for future orders, and now we're repeating the exact same process. Do not order items from this company

One of my favorite places. This was a rare occasion where they didn't have what I was looking for and they told me what I was looking for was low in stock pretty much everywhere in my area. But they were helpful. I showed restraint and didn't impulse buy today.

Every time I frequent this store because it’s close to my house I frequent this location because it’s close to my house but every turn I make, I am being watched based on a judgment. It happens every single time I come here if I were you, I would go to Lowe’s or to any other Home Depot. I would say if I looked like a drug addict or had a tough appearance it would make more sense but it doesn’t.

Average hardware. I had a question, no one to ask. Finally stopped an employee going by. He called for help. 10 minutes later he saw me n came n attempted to help. A funny thing, I saw several employees passing by pushing empty shopping carts, always seemed to be in a hurry n would never make eye contact. I finally found the part I needed out of its wrapper in a bucket hanging on the rack, no bar code n the man who helped n checkout didn't know what to charge. We made a choice n went with it.

I shop here and Lowes depending on what I need. Usually well stocked and I can get what I need and get out. Sometimes not enough staff on the floors to help harder to find items.

Discriminating, harassing, and insulting are the words I'd use when describing the employees here. In my work clothes with the homebuilders name I was followed and even tried to intimidate me. Then the manager told me that they were doing their job. It's sad that this shoplifting epidemic excuse is being used to legally discriminate. Lowes is hands down the better choiceThe only reason if ever come back to home depot is to be a good distraction...

My husband and I have been looking for a new fridge. We finally made up our minds and truly believe that it was devine intervention that we went back to this Home Depot today because we met Roger in appliances! What an incredible human being this man is!In just a few minutes, he’d captured our hearts. We shared some life stories and learned so much about Roger all while talking & learning about refrigerators and warranties! We’ve never had a more memorable experience! All because of the most awesome 84 year old Home Depot associate! Keep on doing what you do, sir! You are a GREAT and make this store even better!!!

DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING ONLINE. Whether for pickup or delivery, please READ the other reviews - this department is flaming trash. Not even HD customer care could contact the store on my behalf when my order was marked as "nobody home" when in reality it was never even picked, and never set to deliver in the future. They delivered FOUR days after scheduled.This store needs to have a corporate visit, and I intend to make that happen.Edit: In response to HD below - I've already gotten in contact with corporate regarding this. Thanks.

I went in to purchase a gallon of paint. I had my two boys (ages 5 & 2) with me. Casey was so friendly and helpful. She helped me pick out the right type of paint for the room I was painting. And she indulged my boys and explained every step of the process of how she mixes the paint and all my 5 year olds many questions. I always appreciate any employee who goes out of their way when I am shopping with two young children.

This is directed to the appliance department. I purchased an LG stackable washer & dryer from Home Depot. After many delays in the delivery from the manufacturer I finally received the appliances but they were both damaged so I refused delivery with another promised delivery date. I was told the day before the next delivery the washer & dryer would be delivered. The day of delivery I find out I’m only getting the washer & that LG cancelled my dryer with no explanation. Home Depot or LG would not refund the amount I paid for the dryer. I go to Home Depot & ask to have the dryer that is on display. Home depot agreed & delivered & installed the dryer. The dryer was scratched in front from the magnetic info card & I was told they would refund me $100. I never received the refund.im also having issues with my dryer because of the way it was installed.

What a terrific buying experience!This kind human, Roger, was so patient with my husband and I while we looked for exactly what we wanted/needed.We lost everything in a house fire, May 2023, and was looking to replace our appliances.However, we got home and realized we didn’t present our coupon for 12mos-no interest, and we were genuinely concerned.We went back to the store and spoke with Mgr Jessica (who was also VERY kind and helpful) who directed us to the right associate to get this fixed for us!Ashley ❤️🙏🏻 took the problem straight to the top!While on the phone with Tyo in the credit dept, the two of them not only applied our coupon, but doubled it instead!We now have 24mos to pay for our newRefrigerator/Stove/Microwave/Freezer interest free!That’s awesome teamwork, that’s OUR Home Depot!

I normally use this Home Depot and have never had any issues. I’ve never had to buy a straw bale from the store though. I bought the bale and wasn’t given any instructions by the cashier so I thought someone would be called or be waiting by the straw truck to unlock it so I could grab a bale.I got to the truck after loading everything else in my car and realized no one was there so I called the store and was told someone would be right out. Ten minutes later I decided to go back to the cashier who checked me out in the garden section and she referred me to another worker that was passing by and told me she’d be right out.After a total of thirty minutes waiting I called the store again and was on hold for two minutes so I hung up and went inside to the help desk. I asked for the third time for someone to please come open the truck so I could grab a straw bale. The lady I spoke to at the desk was the lady I talked to on the phone thirty minutes prior and she was surprised and apologized that I was still waiting.I headed back to my car and waited ten more minutes until another employee walking by in the parking lot asked if I needed help because he saw me waiting by the straw truck. I don’t know where the disconnect with communication happened but I don’t think it should take nearly forty five minutes and asking employees three separate times to get one $8 bale of straw.The only bales left were moldy anyways which ended up being fine with me as it was being used to fill the bottom of a raised bed and I’d already waited nearly 45 minutes for it at that point anyways. Again never had any issues with this Home Depot aside from this frustrating situation.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE IN THE HISTORY OF MAN!!!! Was scheduled for delivery and installation of dishwasher today. Was not notified until we called late afternoon that we had been rescheduled for 9/23. I call the customer service hotline and they hung up on me. I called the store and they said well I don’t know I asked if that’s all he had and he said well I guess we could have done better. That was Kevin ugh. and Ashley at the customer service desk when we purchased the dishwasher was even worsening

I am a pro shed builder and I have always been a Home Depot guy. I have had nothing but headaches from this location. From online orders never making it to the store to orders never getting pulled. One employee told me they were passing around my order sheet because no one wanted to pull my order. This was 6 days after I placed it. I spend thousands of dollars a month and I can't seem to get the staff to help make my experience any better. I have tried talking to a manager, that wanted me to give them one last chance. He told me to let him know what I needed and he would get it done. Well, I texted him my order and I never received a response. Ridiculous. I guess I have to take my business elsewhere.

The customer service desk at the Hixson Home Depot is second to none. I called about a warranty issue with a product I had bought. I was given an acceptable answer and thought I would have to return the item to the manufacturer. A few minutes later, my phone rang, and it was Gail from customer service. She had made a mistake with the dates and I still had one day on my warranty. I took the item to the store, and it was replaced with no hassles. Gail deserves employee of the year in my book. I can't thank her enough.

Pretty easy shopping experiences. Pickup at the lockers is pretty good and preferable since I work on that side of town. There have been times I've gone to shop for project lumber and no lumber carts were available. They seemed to be 70% tied up with pickup orders and 30% were already in use by other shoppers so I left.

It’s time for just a little gardening and they have thousands of plant. I just picked up two tomato plants, some fertilizer for them, and a cage to guide their growth. I just entered the nursery entrance and everything I needed was literally within just a few steps. I gathered my items and, helped by the friendly associate, checked out, with my entire time spent was less than 10 minutes. My kind of shopping. Of course, it helped that I was able to use the Home Depot app to peruse the items I was interested in, and that certainly sped up my trip. Very happy with my experience.

Terrible management here. Was purposely ran into by Shawn, a store manager after he misinformed me about cutting materials and pricing information. Only to find out at the checkout that he told me the wrong information, and was charged for the whole piece. Upon returning with the rest of the materials before getting it cut, passing me on the way out with it, he ran into me on purpose nudging me with his arm as he passed. There was plenty of room to walk by without running into a paying customer that has spent over $700,000 in Home Depot. I will not be returning to this location to do business with people who are not professional about customer assistance.
