Pet smart grooming has amazing groomers that take great care of your fur baby! They cleaned up my dogs with great care and a great cut for my King Charles! You can schedule online and all you have to do is send a proof of rabies/vaccine record, and you are good to go!!!

I love this store. They are helpful and super friendly.My only problem is that a groomer was leaving and stopped to pet my dog. I specifically told her he was a service dog and made sure to get him sat right by my side (almost on my shoe).She proceeded to get closer and pet my dog anyway. Maybe they need to be educated further about service animals.

Employment Experience: It was really disappointing to spend close to an hour going through their application process to find out they were not even hiring for the position I applied for. I was told they keep all the applications up even when they're not hiring for those positions. I went in to speak to someone and found out that they're not hiring for any management position within the district. They offered me a part-time position as a cashier & kennel cleaner for $13.50 per hour... when I applied for a management position.

Not a fan of the quality of grooming here. There's a hefty upcharge for nail grinding. I expect when any groomer works on my dog that the nails actually get trimmed up and shortened.This was the second time the nails were barely touched. The first time I said nothing thinking it was a simple oversight. This is the second time and I'm leaving a review here with photos. We are going to find a new groomer. If I'm going to spend $80+ before tip on a bath, brush, and nail grind, it's going to be done right.

I took my Doberman in to have her nails trimmed. They did an excellent job and they were great with my dog. Oscar was the gentleman that I dealt with and he was top notch. I will be taking by dog back to Oscar everytime now. I would definitely recommend them if your dog(s) need any type of grooming service.

We use the Banfield vet services, and they really take care of my pets. They did an indepth exam on my Chihuahua and found out he had a rare parasite that attacks his muscle tissue and started treatments right away. I don't know what I would do with out them,❤️

Great place. Friendly staff. Update April 2023. Have a senior cat & get his prescription cat food there. Cat toys. Added to our cat family with a kitten from Scratch, who keep some of their rescues there. Our boy is a year old now and still sweet as ever. So PetSmart is a regular shopping place for us.

So PetSmart had everything I needed to get my little boy started on his first adventure with a Bearded Dragon and they were very patient while I asked lots of questions. Multiple people helped me and they were all kind. This is at the Hixson location.

Always a pleasure going into petsmart. Didn't have many reptiles or rodents available but I came to purchase a bearded dragon lamp. In store it was 79.99 online it was 49.99. The cashier price matched it for me and I got it online price. Star enjoyed going on the hunt for the light as well shes a 14yr old chubby chihuahua....

I just adopted a dog and they sent me to this pet smart because they had a discount book, when I got there they denied the coupon and stated it was only for grooming and the coupon book was worthless for equipment, and there was no cooperation. Please go to a place that actually helps. Don’t bother wasting your time.

I've been coming to the Hixson Tennessee location for 15 years and it's always clean and well stocked. The staff has always been helpful and friendly! I've had the pleasure of using their grooming salon for my precious baby Tank. I've noticed all the groomers to love what they are doing and see their love for the fur babies in the way they handle them. I'm very partial to one of the groomers, Abby and so is Tank. We just love her so much that we come all the way from Ooltewah to see her. I highly recommend Abby or any of the groomers at this location.

This PetSmart is good for a PetSmart, but honestly, please don't purchase animals from this kind of place. Unless you're like me and feel the need to get a 4th rat in order to save the poor lonely shivering in the corner by itself. These places do not get their animals from reputable breeders. Adopting the cats is a different story, feel free to do that.

The grooming dept took very good care of our pets and did a great job ! We had appts on day of grooming and petsmart let our pets stay a lil later after grooming so we could go to our appts pet smart also gave each of our pets a bandana

People are nice but the husbandry for the bearded dragons are incorrect, they do not sell what is actually required for proper husbandry (like 4x2x2 enclosures, T5 10.0 bulbs and ballasts) and rarely store feeders correctly. This is true for every Petsmart, not just this location.

I took my girl to get her groomed... the pampering package and some of the works. She came home with long toenails and furry pads after it was asked to take care of them (I paid for it as well) I'll be finding someone else from now on.

I've always enjoyed this pet store and the selections of products they have. It's easy to find what you're looking for, well-organized, and typically in stock with everything I need. They sell fish, smaller reptiles, smaller pets like hamsters, guinea pigs, etc., birds, and they have cats to adopt. There is also a smaller scale vet inside that can provide some basic pet care and grooming.

Cooper, my Standard Poodle, went in with wild and crazy hair. He was way behind on needing to be groomed. They did an excellent job! He came out looking like a brand new man and was so happy! Cooper has a way of telling me if anything is ever wrong and he didn't. He was obviously treated with ultimate care. I've used different groomers over the years, but I'm sticking with Pet Smart in Hixson from now on. I live in Georgia, but its definitely worth the drive.

Don't ever being your dog to petsmart for grooming! Our original groomer was booked out for awhile so we read some reviews about petsmart and they didn't seem too bad so we brought him there for grooming and he ended up coming back home being pretty much all shaved and had little Knicks and cuts on his paws which is nothing like what we asked for. There is a before grooming Pic of his hair grown out which is what usually happens, a picture of what we normally have done with him- the picture is a little poofier than what we do but the style is similar, and then after being groomed at petmsart pictures. I spoke with some people and it will probably be 3-4 months before his hair is back to the way we like it 😔 also the petsmart groomer was very rude to us, we most definitely will never being giving them business again!
