Great store to find what you need for your next project! They also offer fun classes for kids once a month where they get to build a fun craft to take home. My kids look forward to it every month and they get a patch for each class to add to their apron for their completed craft. I recommend going online to register for the class ahead on time to make sure you have a spot.

Me and my finance have been using this store lately, rather than Oakridge and we were actually pleasantly surprised. They seem to always have everything we have needed in stock and the workers are all pleasant and helpful…Especially the young guy in the garden section. He helped us with fencing and concrete a lot. Plus they have a huge clearance section,, my favorite! Lots of great deals.

As far as the store it’s self, yes clean and stocked to a degree. However, when it comes to ordering or installing anything I CANT stress enough to make sure whomever is ringing you up is knowledgeable about what you’re getting and entire process. I’ve already been screwed over once with their appliances/installations and decided to give them yet another shot (1 year later) and I regret I did. I’ve talked to multiple staff/management and all could not find a solution and or even attempt to follow through. Rebecca in receiving has the worst customer service and clearly hates what she does. If you need to make bigger purchases such as appliances or installations (windows, carpet, garage doors, or anything on a house) please do not go to Lowe’s. All of their work is contracted out and their clueless communication between one another is beyond frustrating.

I bought a home in Rockwood I live 12 hours from here I drove up with two contractors to start painting and doing some light renovations to the home. I was unable to get the paint that I really wanted because their paint mixing stations were broken all of them but one. This is the only thing that’s within 30 minute drive of here or one hour round-trip. They were closed on Easter Sunday when Home Depot Was open but it’s a very long drive from here. As a result we ran short on paint and a few other supplies and were unable to complete the tasks and had to leave and come back another weekend. I am furious about this not everyone celebrates Easter.

Absolutely hate this store. I will preface this review by saying I do not fault the store employees. From the outside looking it appears to be training issue. By training issue I mean lack there of. Everytime I go there and need help with either product information or product location I'm left sorely disappointed. Example would be, the employee responsible for the door section not knowing what a "mortise" is. Then after showing them what a mortise is not knowing they sell a tool for making said mortise in a door. After 20 mins of walking around and looking for said tool we found it in an aisle/bay location in a completely irrelevant section.

I am a female veteran pushing seventy. I usually have to show an id to prove it. I went to the garden center at Lowe’s this week-my happy place.The young man checking me out at the register said a big. “Thank you for your Service. He had remembered me from a previous visit and acknowledged me before I checked out. I want him to know how much that I appreciate him. No one has ever acknowledged me that way and he made my day. Thank you young man.

Great place to shop! This Lowe’s may be a little smaller than most in my opinion so they may not carry all the stuff Lowe’s normally has, so download their app or go to the website and search to see what they have in stock first. Other than that, the store is clean, the people are nice, and it has a rich atmosphere.

Update this 5 star review 9/2/23 to a 3 star because the manager is greedy. I have spent over $50K at this store in the last four years. I was buying plywood and found a 8' X 18" piece of plywood in the scrap pile. A customer had a sheet cut and this was the leftover. So a customer had already paid for the entire sheet. The employee working in the lumber area was nice and said he would give me the scrap left over but had to get approval. He called the manager and the manager wanted to charge me 50% of an entire sheet cost. I just bought another full sheet and thanked the employee for trying to help me. The rest of this review is my previous review from a couple years ago...... Best Lowes I have ever been to and I have lived in several states the last 20 plus years. Set up is great and people are helpful. No hassle for returns. 10% Military discount and they always thank me for my service at the checkout. We replaced all kitchen appliances, washer and dryer and built a two tier deck, gazebo/spa and a huge carport. All from this store. As with any store inspect your lumber before checkout.

I love this Lowe’s location! All of the staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. We don’t have a truck, and pictures here we are making an adventure out of loading 16’ 2x4 boards into a Rav4… the Lowe’s employees gave us some plastic wrap (it was raining) and the red flag hanging off the end! We made it back safely to finish our project. :-)

The fact that there are no cashier's and the rube that is standing there watching you struggle to get the bags apart you know what he should have done when he put them on the rack kind of pissed me off they need cashier s that checking your self out when you have a bunch of stuff stinks

I love this site bc it has a little bit more to offer than some locations due to it being in a small town. I cut a few of the employees hair sometimes and when they see me always stop to say hello. Feels like home.

I've tried to get a estimate on lumber to build my house for 2 days and still have yet to speak with a person other than someone who transfers me to a phone that just rings. Highly recommend home depot, had my estimate in less than 5 min and ordered on same call. 34k lowes won't be getting.

well 3 days now trying to talk to a manager. is ridiculous. I was double charged by a cashier and she wanted to keep arguing a sheet of 7/16 osb which was shelf labeled at $20 and she rings it up as $43 a sheet and proceeded to tell me I'm wrong. well since the manager can't call a customer back or even take a call I'm disputing the entire order on my card ad fraud. their frauds and thieves. I will not buy from lowes again I will go out of my way and drive 2-3x as far for a different supplier

Decent store but DO NOT get anything delivered. Have had deliveries 3 times and all 3 times had issues. 1st delivery, missing items, incorrect items and damaged product (They loaded landscaping plants on top of building materials causing water damage) 2nd delivery delivered a Stove and tore the floor bring it in and left the box and trash in the driveway. 3rd one went out of their way to not deliver, called the day before and never attempted to call the day of delivery, put a note on the door without knocking "with a sorry we missed you" card dated for a later time. The delivery company won't answer the phone or return phone calls but Lowes will not refund until they get the refrigerator back from the delivery company....

When asking about some Halloween displays, the women in the return department where very nice, then the manager I believe was all full of his self, he was rude and repeated himself 3 time. To our party he come off as a jerk,,,, Lowe's we expected better. This was Sunday, the day before Labor day.
