The majority of the product at the store is extremely overpriced including items you can easily get across the street at Walmart for upwards of $10 cheaper. They do have dollar tennis balls though which come in handy. The ladies at work there are very nice.

Nice clean, well kept store! We came this this store on this past Saturday Morning to visit a rescue group that brought some little rescue dogs! It was so nice they brought the rescue group from Mt. Juliet, TN to allow a meet and greet with the dogs. Petsense has all the Pet Food, Toys and Treats your Dog or Cat would love. I highly recommend all "Dog and Cat" Parents to come shop at this nice, local, store!

Nice selection of dog toys, treats, and accessories. It's a smaller place, nothing like a big box pet emporium. Easy in, easy out. You won't find great deals on pet food or cat litter, but in a pinch, it's a nice little store.

Much better than local Tractor Supply for your pet's needs. Almost everything was in stock and on the shelves. The staff was attentive and available. The store was clean and inviting to customers and pets. Prices were in the normal range. On-site adoption and pet services are available.

We get our dog food here. This is the only place it is sold. Our dog has a sensitive stomach and eats grain free food. They have a great selection on toys and supplies as well. Awesome customer service.

I buy my dog and cat food here. Prices are very competitive with most places. Stock is usually good. Curtious staff. Sign up for their rewards program. It will save you some money!

We like to support locally.. went in looking for a dog food that was supposed to be in stock at this store and was not. Nonna was extremely helpful in trying to help us with comparable foods. However, the rest of the staff was less than interested in helping customers and more into talking with each . We asked if they could order it and i was informed they could not.We can easily and now will be ordering online.

This place never has crickets. It’s always something… If tractor supply sells crickets by the 1,000s why can’t they stock the stores to have them?!And don’t even buy the live crickets in a box, they are dead by the time you get home.

I have frequented this store for a while and everyone is always so kind and helpful. Tonight I pulled up just as they closed because I was held up at the grocery store. Holly? Opened the door and told me I could get what I needed despite them just closing. I am so thankful because she saved me a trip to Portland tonight. This store has the best customer service.

I go to this place all the time for regular pet needs and it’s fine. Booking a grooming appointment is a joke though. Booking online gives you no price information so what’s the point of that. I tried to call to book and the groomer on the phone just gave attitude. Find someone to answer your phones for you if it’s that much of a hassle

Needed dog food to deliver to a new mother of twins. Don't have a dog. I was met at the door by a leak offering assistance. She led me right to the food of which I had taken a picture for reference. Quick and pleasant.

I moved in Gallatin last year with 2 pets. When i found this store with high quality products, i was very grateful. I LOVE having the convenience of this specialty store near my home. I can't say enough GREAT words about this store. Trina, the manager and her staff are very nice, helpful due to being very knowledgeable about what i need for my pets, and inventory of what i need is always available. Apparently, Trina loves her job and pleasing her customers; because Ive never had a problem. Store is always clean and organized. I shop there weekly and leave extremely satisfied EVERYTIME. Thank you Trina and staff for making it all so easy for me!

The groomer is the absolute worst!Kevin the groomer have a Nasty attitude.She snatched my puppy by her chin hair as she was already terrified being it was her first time getting groomed. My daughter and I was very dissatisfied with her service and manners. She's nonchalant, insensitive and just down right rude!!My puppy was not herself for the rest of the day!!!Take your fur babies somewhere else!!!Thank me later!!!

This store is ridiculous. I tried for over a month to purchase super worms here. I finally called and asked them to order 100 for me above their regular order, I even offered to pay at that minute ,and was told they were only allowed to order a certain amount but was assured they would call me when they came in on Tuesday last week and they would only hold them 1 day. I went in on Wednesday, the clerk on duty had no idea what I was talking about, luckily there were 100 worms that were still available. Today 1 week after I went and bought the worms I get a phone call” hi your 50 super worms are here and we will hold them 1 day. Ok great problem is this was for last week and I ordered 100 not 50. Great place to start a pet store that knows what it’s doing.

The only reason there is 1 star is because zero isn’t an option! My appointment was at 1030 am for my 2 mini schnauzers to be groomed, I was given an option of then or at 130 but I had prior engagements so I chose the earlier time. I called at 2pm to check progress because they’re usually done by then but they hadn’t even started the cuts and asked for 2 more hours. Reluctantly I agreed. 5pm still no call so I went to collect my babies. They were NOT done! They left with me and will never return! Also, it won’t allow me to take a pic

Great neighborhood pet store. The people at the store are both friendly and professional. The store itself is clean and well supplied. We've even used the dog grooming services offered at the store and we're pleased with the results. I would highly recommend this pet store for anyone looking for a good local pet store.

DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES BRING YOUR PETS TO THIS LOCATION FOR GROOMING! The staff at this location are completely incompetent. Our 2 minis schnauzers were here for 7.5 hours and they only completed 1 dog if you can complete as he looked like it was someone’s first attempt at grooming a dog. Uneven cuts everywhere, they didn’t even trim the end of his tail he had the rest shaved and then long hairs at the end, he looked terrible. And after 7.5 hrs they didn’t finish our second dog at all. We dropped them off at 1030 am and 5 o’clock we walked in and got our dogs because the incompetent staff obviously didn’t know what they were doing and we weren’t going to allow our dogs to sit in cages all day. No other groomer has ever taken more than 3-4 hours at most to groom both of our dogs. This place couldn’t manage to complete one dog in 7.5 hrs. The people working in the grooming department are NOT professionals and you should avoid taking your pets here.

Jessica, at the Gallatin store, is a great groomer. She is awesome with my Saint Bernard, Chevy. He has trouble standing for long periods of time and she is so gentle with him. You won’t be disappointed with her. Great skills. Go see her!!

Worst grooming my sweet Coco has ever had. She is 10 years old and tge 53.00 I paid was a joke. I want my money back and hope the groomers get more educated on dog grooming. !!!

I don’t reccomend this place. They are over priced compared to any pet store I’ve been to, and the past 5 times I have been there they have not had ANY crickets in stock. This may not seem like a big deal but that is what my lizard needs to eat a meal every day, and they never have them... they act like it’s no big deal and they will have them in one day this week. I will never try again, and I will buy my other pets needs from other pet stores as well. I now drive 25 minutes one way to go to a pet store that always has what I need.

Took our puppy Percy out for his first trip to Petsense. Great customer service and attention was given by Frances. She even carried our purchases out to the truck while we handled Percy. We will definitely be back.

It's a little more expensive than Walmart but the staff are so helpful and they know the best products for dogs cats fish lizards. The best part is I adopted my first Tennessee kitten in 2015 and another kitten that are from the pound for a minor fee

Employees go out of their way to help find not so common items. Great selection of quality toys and treats. If you are looking for cheap food, this is NOT your place. Petsense carries mostly top of the line...and therefore expensive high quality foods. I will not feed my dogs junk, or made in China, so this is my choice of places to go. Junk, cheap brands-Walmart or wherever you find them.
