I have been shopping here for years. Self checkout has gotten significantly worse. I watched multiple people put things back and leave while I was waiting for my machine error to be cleared because the employee was busy clearing everyone else’s. After we were fixed, we had multiple errors throughout scanning that led to checking out taking longer than shopping. I will NEVER use self checkout here again and suggest something be changed. If it takes ripping them all up and replacing them with human beings, DO IT.

I wouldn't be writing this if it wasn't CONSISTENT. That being said, absolutely mind boggling how inconvenient the self check out is here. Wild how something that is supposed to make things more convenient for both customer and employee, ends up doing the exact opposite Please! At the very least, VERY LEAST, put item restrictions on your self checkouts! There's no reason that people with full shopping carts should not be using the actual check out lines. So now, not only are prices going up, but it has becoming more inconvenient as well. I'm going to Publix from here on out. At least I can count on the line to move there.

Want to stand 8 deep in line to self check because there are literally no lines open whatsoever? Then this is the place for you!! You will also be a fan of this Kroger if you like half stocked shelves and brown lettuce. I would suggest that they could take out the clothing section to add more food, but again, I'm sure the shelves would be bare. So I guess that's the one thing they do have, clothes. They have also revamped the front quarter of their store to showcase their cheap wine which always seems to be stocked. Because when I think of Kroger, I think of cheap wine and clothes...

I have a bank that I can use kroger to deposit cash. However their customer service is never open for me to be able to do so and no one is there when I need to deposit anything. You guys are right down the street, like come on dude.

Thats one of the best Krogers ive ever been in you would think your in a Target 🎯. People are so nice. Also there shelves are always full. The week that it snowed i went to serveral Krogers and hardly nothing but this Kroger Marketplace was up on their inventory. Thats why they get 5 🤩s in my book

Self-Checkout Employee “Rick” is very rude and dismissive.There was nobody at customer service to answer my phone call and when I went inside there was nobody there.I decided to call self-checkout and Rick refuses to call a manager to the back door for Kroger deliveries.

Shoppers, BE VERY CAREFUL WITH THE SALES BY THE CHECKOUTS. My little boy picked a bag of chips it said sales 2.29, but when we checked out it turned out to be $5.49. Because we stupid consumers didn’t use magnifier to read it said “ need to buy 4 or more” to get the sales price. Their sales come with a pricy condition. I feel like every time I enter this store, I’m a victim. I only came her today because my son insisted he would like to pick something for his dad as a present from Kroger.

I normally enjoy my shopping experience at this Kroger more than the other one in Gallatin, but I will only be returning to get a refund for the out-of-date milk I was sold on Thursday, 8/12. I had no idea until my toddler was drinking it today, and my husband pointed out the date.The milk was more than a MONTH out-of-date. I immediately threw the carton away. I have accidentally purchased food that is expired but only by a few days. I would love an explanation as to why a product that old was still sitting on the shelf. In fact, an explanation isn't good enough. Do better, Kroger Marketplace.

I am so tired of prices being wrong and having to jump through hoops every time I come here. I just returned my groceries and explained to the manager why. As I suspected, he really didn’t care. Then Cindy had to come up and run her smart mouth about something she wasn’t even involved in. Why such a large price and such small print. PUBLIX from now on!!!

I was at this location on December 7, 2017 at 8:55pm. The sign at the produce section said five Jazz apples for $2 and I picked up five but when I checked out at the counter, it came out to be $8. When I asked the cashier she said when I use my member’s card it would re-adjust but when the receipt came out it hadn’t. She directed me to the customer care. There was no one at the customer service center because it was a few minutes past 9 and CS had already closed. A cashier who stood by the self check out lane asked me what was wrong, I told her the issue, so she went to check the price of the Jazz apples, confirmed its price to be $2 and came back and told me to come back in the morning and return the apples. So I said I work during the day and can’t come back to just return apples and then asked for the manager. A lady came to the customer service area and she just went back so I didn’t know who that was. The self checkout cashier told me that she was a manager and I asked her, “how would I know that she was the manager if you don’t tell me?” The cashier called the manager again and the manager came out to the service area where I was waiting. The manager lady didn’t look at me at all, or acknowledge my presence, didn’t show common courtesy. She simply typed something at the computer, swiped a card and gave it to the cashier. The cashier gave me a prepaid $10 Kroger card. I was there just to get the price of the apples that was advertised in the produce section adjusted. I didn’t want Kroger’s $10 card, or gain a few extra bucks for the $2 apples that I bought. And I was expecting some fairness, dignity, and common courtesy as a customer. It was truly disappointing and not expected from a reputed store like Kroger.

I loved this store! I did online pickup and even when it was busy the young ladies still tried their best to bring out all the orders, and when they got to my car they apologized for the wait. They were out of stock of some items but thats ok it was very hectic. Very fine young ladies back there. Will be back again.

• Illogical store layout.• Horrible management at this location!!!• Always out of stock of staple groceries.• They're always poorly staffed! Not uncommon to have twenty customers in line for self checkout! And another twenty lined up between the *two* open lanes!• I drive five miles further to avoid this disaster!

Excellent selection across all departments. Milk & bread, etc located in front of store for quick purchases. Apparel and kitchen needs. Digital coupons. Clean store. Good parking. Gas station. Note the hours are not 24/7 they are 6am-midnight.

Worst Pharmacy in town. They never answer their phones. They text you your prescription is ready for pick and when you get there they haven’t even filled it. In the past I have dropped off my written prescription for adderall twice. Came back to pick it up and they said I never dropped it off. The same girl both tomes. She must have stolen the prescriptions! I had to start taking a picture of myself handing to the girl to have proof! They are always short staffed too. Just the worst.

This location is always the worst. No check-outs open, not stocked, no carts, terrible produce. It could be such a nice location with the Market Place part, but is so terribly managed. They only time I ever saw it clean and stocked was when you could tell Corporate was visiting. I went multiple times to try to set-up a Tax Exempt account for a non-profit and nobody knew how to do it, was told it was no problem, but to come back next day. Then told I need to go through corporate, so I won’t have for event. I just hope corporate pays attention to this review and revamps this store. I am done giving it my business even if it is close by.

Kroger has switched this store to being only self checkout in the mornings. The self checkout routinely has problems, including the spotty ability to accept cash. This causes a delay as an attendant has to be found to help.The attendant today was not sure how to run the transaction and accept the cash for payment, which caused an even greater delay.In the name of convenience, checking out at the store has become way more inconvenient.

I go here the most because it's convenient for me. The store is always clean and mostly well stocked. The staff is pretty friendly, and I love that they have the clinic and pharmacy here!

I love shopping here. However, I bought Quaker instant oatmeal 18 pack and it had bugs in it. I tossed it all out. A few days later I bought a new one. It had bugs in it!!! I returned it, but I don't think the issue will be properly addressed as the person who refunded me didn't seem to care. Also, customer service was closed?! Really??? That's not a good policy! You can do better!

After picking up my clicklist order this morning, I realized I had been given expired bread. So I went back to the store and walked up to customer service to try and switch out the bread. The girl that was attending the desk was standing in front of the desk and when she noticed us she then asked "What do y'all want?". Another young lady got an attitude with me when I asked if she would be working the desk when I came back with the new loaf to exchange. Do better y'all!

This is worst Kroger location I’ve ever visited. This store is routinely not stocked on the most basic items or sale items. The store is poorly managed and one walk around makes it’s obvious. Shopping carts are always in the parking lot, the store itself is poorly maintained inside with displays and cash registers that are broken or falling apart. Management is oblivious and can be found standing around the checkout standing around while one cashier handles 18 customers. The produce department here is probably the worst produce section I’ve ever seen. Most all of the fruits are weeks from being ripe. Artichokes and other green vegetables are small, overpriced and look terrible. We bought meat here that smells like rotten fish once. Self checkout only after 7 pm so be prepared to take 45 minutes to be able to ring up the one item you have because shoppers have full carts and only checkout option is self checkout. The other Kroger’s in the area are completely opposite of this dump.

I order my groceries online for convenience. I have been sitting in a slot for over 40 minutes while they help people who have pulled in after me. They are always out of everything I order or so they say. I go in to the store after and find the exact product I ordered that are apparently out of. They replace items without checking with you and most are more expensive and then charge you the higher price which they are not supposed to do. The customer service is awful. The employees are completely lazy and incompetent.

This used to be a clean nice store, with nice employees. They have 4 self check outs that do not work, while employees walk around in a daze. The self check was not working correctly and the employee automatically judged us and pulled our groceries out of the bag and was having a hard time counting to 12, it happened again , we politely said you can keep it. This store was a 10 down to a 0
