What a wonderful and affordable groomer! So friendly and accommodating. This will be my go to groomer! I have a huskey, which only needs his nails done and she did the best job and was the least expensive out of the 3 places I have taken him and got him right in. When it's time for his bath, this is the place he will go. Highly recommended!

Our sweet big boy Henry had his very first professional bath today at Happy Hounds !They were super sweet and patient with him , even when he puddled on the floor twice ! He looked and smelled amazing afterwards! And he was relaxed when I picked him up , not trying to get away from them .. I believe he had a good experience with Happy Hounds , and he will be back !! Thank you guys for being so kind to him !!

Got the XL de-shed x2 dogs (for the second time now). Drop off was at 8am (as I was told) and I called at 330pm and was told they will be done by 4pm(recall this happening last time as well). Seems like a long time. Not sure if water was given to them while they were there based on how many times I had to fill up the water after getting them home. Really liked how both of their coats came out, but not sure I liked the experience with one of the staff this last time. While checking out- I was told the total was $180. When I asked for the break down (as I was expecting $120), I felt like she just brushed it off and said that they added an extra handling fee to both dogs. Asked her to explain again please- she didn't know why a fee was added to one of my dogs (and neither did the other staff)- so it was removed and the other fee is cuz my older dog didn't like her BACK nails being clipped. I would have much rather gotten a call-then being charged $30 for that- I would have told you to move on and forget about the back legs- staff said that her nails did look like I kept them clipped already (and maybe you might feel different but I usually clip their nails at home and have no issues while they are laying on the floor, so I didn't appreciate the charge on something I have no issues with). Handling fee is new and maybe it's being used a little too liberally. Or maybe notes can be made and staff can say- "it looks like we had issues with clipping her back nails, next time we will have to add a handling fee of $ for that or we can just skip that- what would you like to do?" Or maybe the fee is too much... I want to support a local business that does good work, but some things to consider before going back.

My poor dog was pitiful once groomed. Her fur was trimmed so short her skin looked pink and raw. I had requested her nails be cut and filed and that wasn't done. My vet was able to get her nails clipped for me the next day with no additional charges.

Fabulous job on my "trouble twins" 2 long coat chihuahuas, one of whom can be a pistol! Both look great and were in great shape when I picked them up, not overly stressed or anything. Definitely will be going monthly!

I've never used a self serve dog wash before. For the price, I had everything I needed to bathe, clean ears, and dry my dog. They even had smelly good spray!! My only issue, and this is my dog, was he was afraid to use the ramp to get up or down from the tub. The girls were very helpful and picked Tank up for me and placed him in the tub. I will definitely go back every month and I recommend them 100%!!

Community businesses are expected to treat their employees fairly and justly. While the owner pays $3,000 for a kitten, the employees suffer from poor wages, part-time positions, excessive heat and ear-deafening noise in its back area.In addition, the self-service area’s mold is mostly likely harmful to the owners’ pets as well as the owners themselves. The lack of fresh paint throughout the shop and its grimy windows, leaves one to wonder whether conditions are sanitary.Finally, when employees leave this establishment, they have to beg in order to rightly have their own equipment returned to them. This is a pity considering the owner’s wealth compared to the measly money, its employees’ earn. Happy Hounds, for the betterment of your community, customers and employees, step-it-up.

They groomed my mom's dog and where supposed to cut her nails and clean out her ears..two days after I had to take her to the vet cause her ear was infected and had hard drainage dried in her ear and I'm talking large blackish green stuff the vet says there was no way her ears where cleaned !!

I took my two-year-old lab to have her nails trimmed. After she struggled to sit on the hardwood floor the heavy set women made the groomer take my dog to the back and slammed the door shut. My dog was crying so loud I could hear in the lobby. My dog has never cried or made a sound while having her nails trimmed. I am very disappointed in the professionalism of the heavy set women working the register when I addressed the issue.
