Went up for spring break, and decided to try this place, we were only there for 4 days and we went here 3 times. The food is so amazing, truly a fantastic place to eat. Their bean dip for the chips is so addictive my roommate bought 2 large bowls and ate just that for dinner. The entrees are amazing two, during our trip going there I got quesadillas and steak and cheese tacos, both were fantastic as well as their deserts. I wouldn't be reviewing any restaurant that truly didn't deserve it. This place is so good, you have to try it.

Great little Mexican restaurant on 411 Highway in Etowah, TN. It was fast and friendly service. The food was very cheap in price but the delicious. If you are in the area or passing I highly recommend it.I had the cheese enchilada, tostada, and beans with rice.They also have mild to hot sauce for chips/salsa.

You probably won't leave hungry. Good service ( somehow wherever I sit in here is freezing!)Rough old building, but food is good.Dietary restrictions: I order fajitas with steak, shrimp, and chicken. ItIs loaded with pepper and onion. It is not swimming in cheese. I just don't eat the flour tortillas that come with. ( there is my meat and veggies choice). That is very satisfying.

Good Mexican food can be hard to find in the southeast but this place is better than good. The service is so fast that we we barely seated before chips and water were showing up, and the main dishes arrived less than 10 minutes after being ordered. Everything ordered was delicious and I will return every time I am in the area.

Bought a burrito to go. When my husband and I got home and started eating it, there was nothing but some kind of meat that didn't taste like real beef, refried beans, with rice mixed in. No lettuce, tomato, cheese or sour cream. We were very dissatisfied. Won't spend hard earned money there anymore. The water taste like drinking hot water from a garden hose.

Wonderful Staff! The food was really tasty and arrived fast. They are under new management and just changed the menu. They still have many of Castillo's menu items as well as other more standard American fare. My husband had the wings and loved them. I had the steak fajitas, they were tasty but one recommend I have for the new owners is to cook the steak to requested temperature for the customer, to set themselves apart from all the other restaurants in the area. The server told us they will be adding more items to the menu soon.

Absolutely superb food. Everything was so fresh and I loved the tacos pastor especially because of the beautiful mix of sweet pineapples and the spicy sauce.

The food was good tasting but definitely a cleaned one out the next morning, so not sure what caused it. Restaurant itself needs renovation. Their inside draft signs are not current as the variety and price aren't available anymore. All and all, ok but probably won't try again.

The place may not look like much from the outside, but the food is very good and the service is excellent. My wife and I ate there for the first time today (we don't get to Etowah very oftern) and will go back when we can. We've eaten at a few of the Mexican restaurants in McMinn county and nearby areas and so far this is the best. My wife and I had a nice conversation with the lady who owns (I assume) the place along with her husband as she was used to the regular customers and we were new. We will certainly go back when we can.Update - My wife went by there a couple of days later to place a to-go order which was taken by a young woman who got the order wrong and didn't really seem to care either. I don't know if this might be the owner's daughter or not but she will hurt business with her attitude. I still like the place but beware of her if she is your waitress.
