Always super busy. Self checkout never working. Whats the point of them? Out of inventory/empty shelves. Its embarassing for whoever runs this place.My money will be spent elsewhere

I love to stop here it's on my way home a lot quicker than going in Walmart . However I really think they need more employees to help keep shelves stocked they are out of a lot of items I need. They stay super busy and I think they truly need more help!! Way too much stock in carts and in boxes on the floor extremely messy!!

Gotta love Dollar General. They have great prices I DO miss them not having throw rugs, sheets etc more stuff that everybody uses in their homes. Always have friendly cashiers. But they're getting too much in the food line.

It's nice to have close by. They have a good selection as well. But occasionally the line gets very long and it takes quite awhile to get through. It would be nice if they would open another register for people using cards, just to get the line down. Just my opinion. Other than that, the people are friendly and the store is usually clean.

I was in there tonight to look for some stuff . qhile i was in line waiting to use the phone because i lwft mine at home. The phone at dollar generql rang and rhis manager by the name if dolores answered it. A customer wanted to know if they had a certain item and wanted to know if they had it. The manager to the customer that she did not have time to go look for it and to call back later. She was being rude about it to. And when i asked to use the phone because i left mine at home she got rude with me to and threw the phone at me and told me that they werent suppose to let the public use the phone. She does not need to have an attitude towards people exspecially towards customers. Because customers are the back bone and what makes the store keep being open. I would like to know who her manager is she needs to be more polite towarda cuatomers

Went today and it was two minutes before closing time to buy one item. There was a girl that walked in 5 seconds before I got to door but when I got there the girl slammed the door shut in my face. I told her I just needed one thing and she shrugged her shoulders and walked off. The dollar general near my old house never did that to me and I spent a lot of money there but will not at this store.

Great stop and shop without the megastore walking but also friendly folks to help you when looking for an item. I even buy some of my groceries here. Clover Valley is just as good as Great Value or Food Club, including prices!

I love the Dollar General. Everything is easy to find and they have a lot of name brands. The store brand is equally as good as the name brands. Friendly cashiers and stockers always willing to help you find something you need. Over all I would give them 5 stars.

They have a lot of stuff in this store. Its nearly impossible to try to shop with a cart...but they do have good prices and a variety of items along with a cooler section...very vice. Its a good place to pick up a few items.

Prices are decent but everytime I go in there, it's a mess. Merchandise is everywhere! And you can't find a thing. I've been to several other locations are their as neat as can be! Most of the employees are also rude and not very helpful.

The staff is always very friendly and always visible, nice bonus for when your needing help. Love this store ,close to my home and my lil did is esa registered so she is also welcomed inside. I truely like the fact that my four legged best friend can browse with me and of course always gets a special treat when we are done with our visit. ❤️♥️💜💙💚💛

Dollar General is my second home!! I love the fact that I do not have to go to Walmart just to grab some necessities. I do wish we had a Dollar General Market close by, that would be wonderful...then I would probably never go to grocery store ! Ha!

This store has been a life saver because I don't like running to town everytime I need something, an they built a store about 2 an half miles from my house an I love it... It's been so convenient for when I don't feel like running to town!

Its the politest nicest and best cleaned one in town. And the first manager to not give me the third degree over a mask demanding to see my medical condition paper work. Btw thats illegal like the mandates to wear one.

It was nice, clean, everyone was friendly and it smelled good inside ....lol they we're even friendly when I thought I had left one of my bags there the young man was very nice helpful & understanding even when I found them at my house while I talked to him on the phone. I would gladly go back again.

I do love the Dollar General Store. But today I got a really rude person at the register. I walked up with a Version Card and it did say that it was a 30 Dollar card. But I only wanted 15 dollars on it. She didn't give me one second to tell her. She rang it up and said I had to buy it. I walked out the door.

took my mother and we ended up buying alot more then we planned. The new freezer dept. has great thinks in it. and plenty of gallons of milk, cheese, butter, anything you wont. pizza's all different kind of meals to cook. I bought a big box of chicken and a big bag of Arby's Curley fries, delicious after church dinner! the only thing was they was one young pregnant girl working the register and plenty off people waiting in line. as well there was no buggies insight and j had to use a basket for mine and my mothers things and my son had to come and help us to carry it all! I spent over 70 dollars just in food not counting 20 dollars in dog food. and my soon had to make 2 trips to take our stuff out to our car. that was very, very inconvenient!!!

Dollar general is a great place to shop for cheaper items that are sometimes better than name brand items. They usually have great sales on soda and it's always a pleasant experience.

I love the DG. I'd much rather go there than Wal-Mart, HOWEVER, I have to skip this DG and go in to town because they never have anything stocked and have hired some of the goofiest employees who'd rather continuously talk than ring up items, which in return results in some of the longest lines I've ever seen.

Dollar general is a mass consumer of products that are either almost out of date over produced or can't sell anywhere else therefore they get them for little to nothing and sell them at low prices but still higher than it should be in the meantime they pay their employees next to nothing and it attracts vagrants homeless and other issues to the community and the area.The stores are raking and money on inferior products while damaging the community, people need to make themselves aware of this!

The employees at the 19E, Elizabethton, TN location are the rudest retail sales women I have ever experienced. If you don't like helping others you may want to find a different job. If I were their DM, I would clean house and start over. Won't be back.

I love how they always care about what you need. If they don't have it they will make sure to have it the next time. Prices are reasonable and it works for those days you just don't want to go to town with the big crowds

It’d be nice if they’d fix their bathroom. Seems it’s been broken for months & they don’t care enough to fix it. They also aren’t that friendly, luckily I only stop here if it’s really necessary.

The Mgr. Jamie is always nice and polite, & always eager to help if he can. Always has a smile on his face, always helps my dad to the car with his items. 👍👍
