Dollar General stores are convenient....thats about it. Every one that I've been in is cluttered and messy. The most frustrating part is that at least one of my items (usually more that one) rings up a higher price than what is posted on the shelf. I've asked several employees at different locations why that is so common. I've been told that their prices change so much and the staff just can't keep up with changing the prices on the shelf to reflect what their corporate office changes the prices to. Just watch the prices when you go to check out.

Always clean and organized. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent general store. Has frozen foods, but no fresh produce. Parking lot has easy access in and out on 4 lane highway. Spaceous enough for boats and trailers. Traffic can be moving faster than expected and seemingly appear out of nowhere.

Came home from shopping at the Dowelltown Dollar General and didn't notice until several hours later that I had failed to pick up one of my shopping bags. It was late the next evening before I stopped back by. I dreaded explaining what had happened. I told the associate I had accidentally left a shopping bag with the two items. He reached to the counter behind him picked up the bag and I was on my way. This was a day and a half later! Now that's service.

The wife sent me out for beer and tampons. They had my beer and all kinds of different products for , you know, down there issues. I really didnt know which one to get, so I asked the cashier what she used. Seemed logical at the time. Big mistake. Like almost as bad as the time I drunk french kissed her Mom. Almost. Had to sleep on the basement couch for almost a month. Anyway, they have a pretty good selection of stuff and the staff seem pretty helpful when asked. But take my advice. Have the wife send a pic of what it is she wants for when Aunt Flo comes to visit.

I only recently moved to the area but was an avid Dollar General store shopper before relocating. This franchise is worth the short drive from the Smithville location. It seems much roomier and more organized. Again , a little disappointed with keeping their shelves stocked, but do a much better job than most DG's I've seen.

I love Dollar General. I shop there 2 or 3 times a day everyday. Service is friendly and the selection and price of products are good.

Most time I give this store a 5 however this evening cashier wasn't paging attention I had ebt card for food and pay rest my stuff he didn't punch in register for my ebt card so iPad pay everything also my phone coupons I had loaded most didn't give me my coupon and he should offered to rerun my stuff and usedmy. Ebt card otherwise I wouldn't got food but I paid went on my advice check our receipts on my digital coupons so it was a onestar today

They need to clear the isles so ppl can actually walk thru the store & the workers need to not rush customers out 20 min before closing time because they are rood!!! They lasso need to have more registers than one!! The district Mr needs to work on this store!!!
