I had a great experience with my new puppy Wyatt. The staff was very nice and my pup had a relaxed experience. They did what was necessary without trying to add any unnecessary services. I'll definitely stay with them moving forward.

Vet Rita and staff are like family to me! I can always stop by and chat( if it's not busy of course). My animals are well taken care of during their lives and after their last breath is taken. Animal clinic is simply the best!!

Awesome staff !!!!! They really care and their prices are very affordable compared to other vets. The doc and staff explain everything about each one of my fur babies that I felt very comfortable with the care I recieved for them. They also was very kind and gave me all the time I needed when it was time for our katie to pass over to the rainbow bridge.

We took our baby dog I. And she was treated great ! Dr.Tinsley does a great job and had our baby calm and wagging her tail. I highly recommend them !

The staff are extremely friendly. They were sweet and I really think they mean well.However....Never, NEVER take your pets to Stewart County Animal Clinic in Dover, Tennessee!!I received a voucher from Stewart County Animal Management Program - SCAMP to assist with the spay cost for our nine-month-old terrier mix. I was given two choices of vet offices in Stewart county. I figured the animal clinic would be a good choice. My puppy had just come into her first heat cycle so I knew I would have to schedule her spay a month out.I should have gone to my regular veterinarian. Or chose North Stewart Veterinary Clinic.When I pulled into the drive way at Stewart County Animal clinic the first thing I noticed was the sign that said they board animals. Above three outside dog kennels with a dog-igloo-house in each, and what looked like a board of some kind on top of the large outdoor kennels. I assume it was the clinic’s attempt of shelter and shade for the dogs that occupied each kennel.I should have listened to my gut then. I should have canceled the appointment and went to my regular vet.But I didn’t. And it got worse.I walked into their tiny unorganized office and a very strong aroma of cat urine smacked me in the face.I should have ran then. But I’m an idiot. I gave them the benefit of the doubt. After all, they had several cats there and it was first thing in the morning.I should have took my dog and ran.I came back the next morning to pick up my puppy and was informed by Dr. Tingsley (the veterinarian), that my dog was still in heat and showed signs of early pregnancy.Pregnancy? Absolutely not. We were aware of my puppy’s heat cycle and kept her under constant watch. Still in heat? I doubted it, however there may have been a chance that my puppy may have been at the very tail end of her heat cycle. I was charged extra, for both. At that point I just wanted my dog and didn’t care.What the Veterinarian said next shocked me.Dr. Tingsley advised me to spray her incision with cologne to prevent her from licking her incision. I was informed that they had already sprayed cologne on her. When I saw her she smelled strongly of cologne and I almost gaged.Um. No. The perfume can cause infection and the alcohol will burn!I paid the fees, took my ace-bandaged-wrapped-dog home and kept her as comfortable as I possibly could.Later that day the ace bandage that was wrapped around my puppy slid down and my husband and I had to re-wrap her. That’s when I saw the horrible suture job.In an incision that should have had at least four sutures, there was only two.This morning, the day after I picked her up from the horrible veterinarian’s office I heard my young daughter scream.My puppy’s incision had opened. There were no inner dissolvable sutures and the incision had opened up all the way to her abdominal wall.I was furious, but remained calm and took her straight to my regular veterinarian. My puppy had to go through yet again another sedation and surgery to close the incision and clean up the mess that Dr. Tngsley caused.I do not recommend Stewart County Animal Clinic. I have since read reviews from other’s concerning her barbaric procedures. Including one that lead to the death of family’s beloved dog.This is NOT okay. This is NOT acceptable! This veterinarian should NOT be in practice anymore!I will be reporting this to the Veterinarian Board of Licensing as well as the BBB.

Rita and the staff are genuinely dedicated to the health of the animals and to the education of their owners.They have a great selection of products, all staff are helpful and knowledgeable, and their mascots are a major plus ;)For a clinic that cares more about helping animals and their owners than any other I've been to, this is the place.They also have flea/tick medicines, prescriptions, and can help you navigate to a rescue or find the home for a lost or abandoned animal :)

They have always been amazing with all of my dog's. When my 16 year old boxer was ready to go they were very compassionate and understanding. They made it so much easier to deal with having to let him go.

Rita is a top notch veterinarian, I’ve taken my animals here for 2 years and I tell my friends who have pets to go there. The service is great, they are very accommodating, and they are very inexpensive compared to other animal clinics.

Doesn't even deserve 1 star! My daughter just brought her furbaby back after a neutering. He was covered in urine after being put back into a carrier that obviously was not cleaned after the "vet" took him out for surgery.Now there is a possibility of infection in his incision site.What was a response to this issue..."we're sorry" That won't cut it if something goes wrong with this baby!!!Irresponsible people should not tend to people's pets. These are people's baby's!Guess it's all about the money!I pray this baby was not sorely mistreated while in their "care"😡😡😡

We took our dog to her 4 times. The first time she said he was impacted. The 2nd day she said he had a sore throat gave him 2 shots and and antibiotic. The 3rd time she said "trust me" I know what I'm doing. She said he had arthritis and strep threat. We took him for a 2nd opinion only to find out his large intestine had wrapped around his small intestines. Folks a dog not having a BM for 4 days and in pain doesn't mean arthritis or strep. I'm sorry to say I lost my baby. If you love your pet STAY AWAY!

This staff goes above and beyond. Rita is concerned about your animal, not how much money you have. I've got nothing but good care from these folks. Shannon and rosemary do a great job as well.

No complaints, very helpful. I had asked about the leash law and while the receptionist didnt know the answer, she directed me to the right place. Never had any big problems when taling animals up there either
