I was traveling with two dogs and my mother on an 11 hr trip in a moving truck. Decided to stay here, as it was the halfway point of the trip, and located right off of the interstate. Glad we did.The night front desk guy was very accommodating and helpful during check-in. My mother is older and steps are difficult for her. I told him this and requested a first floor room if one was available, and he made it happen. Thank you, sir.We booked a Double Queen Bed Room. It had vinyl flooring, and no carpet, which immediately was a win for us. Room had a mini fridge, microwave, plenty of lighting, and the beds were comfy. Nice little grassy area out back to walk the dogs, too.Only negative was the bathroom. Tub wasn’t too clean. Water pressure for the shower head was really low, as the shower head was leaking badly from multiple spots. But honestly, I don’t feel like any of these things were enough to cause us to not rate our total experience 5 stars. We had been traveling for a while, and packing all day before that, so we were just grateful at that point to have a working shower in general. All in all, this hotel was great for what we needed, at a great value. Customer service from the night front desk guy was top notch. 5 stars.

The young woman at front desk was absolutely wonderful. Very nice and pleasant. The room 105 had black mold growing on the ceiling. I happen to be an expert on mold. There are procedures for getting rid of molds and fixing the mold where it want come back. The microwave didn't work. The refrigerator wasn't working properly. The inside of the ice bucket cover is dirty. The coffee maker is dirty.I was wearing a new pair of white socks. I pulled my shoes off to walk around in sock feet . After about 30 minutes I took my socks off and noticed the bottoms were dark gray. The floor was that dirty.I was very disappointed in the condition of the room. I chose the Red Roof Inn because of the positive advertisements on TV. Good luck !

Clean rooms with nicely sized comfortable beds, very comfortable beds. Air conditioning is powerful, if you need to be cool you definitely will be. Front desk was incredibly nice and accommodating. I stayed here for almost two weeks, no issues. The owner and management definitely deserves a high rating. I was always met with a kind smile and helped promptly. As for location it's probably the best, Within 50ft from convenience stores and several restaurants. If your a family in need of an extended stay without a budget for mistakes, feel safe here. I didn't see any bugs, dirt, or inconveniences. Also received my deposit back within 5 minutes of checking out. Very respectfully, Great job Red Roof!

If you're wanting to go to Gatlinburg or up that way I'd suggest going here it's close and a LOT cheaper my parents stayed here and saved about $40 and that was with having a dog with them it was very clean and didn't smell like cigarettes was a plus parking is good too.Nearby activities: Close to food, knoxville, and Gatlinburg

I wanted to make you aware of a HORRIBLE customer service experience I had last week. I was traveling from Indianapolis, IN to Charleston, SC to take care of my friend who is dying of cancer. Knowing I would be emotionally tired I booked a room with Red Roof in Dandridge TN with my corporate account. It was hard to find a room because Tennessee had a home game that weekend and I believe I got one of the last rooms. I booked the room on October 10th to stay the night of Oct 13th. I worked all day and left Indiana for my trip around 4:00 pm and was quite exhausted and looking forward to getting to the hotel. Around 8:30 as I was driving I got a call from the hotel. A woman who did not identify herself asked for me and I told her I was speaking. She said she could barely hear me and I told her it was because I was going through the mountains. She asked me if I was still planning to check into the hotel that evening and I told her yes and that I was only about 2 hours away. At that time she informed me that my credit card had been declined and she needed another form of payment to hold my room. I was driving through the mountains, in the dark with no exit to pull off and I told her this. She told me that if I didn't give her a new card she couldn't hold my room. Exhausted and exasperated as I have never had this happen before, I pulled off the road on a very busy, dark interstate. I tried to check my bank because I had hundreds of dollars in my account when I left but I had no WIFI service to log in. I couldn't be sure what card I had used so I got my debit card and called her back. I gave her the number and then advised her that I thought it was horrible customer service the way I was being treated. She became very argumentative when I explained that I was going to be at the hotel in two hours and having to pull off the road in the dark on a very dangerous interstate was not accommodating. She replied in a very nasty tone that when they have a full hotel they cannot hold rooms. I told her I booked the room two days ago and didnt understand why they were trying to run it at 8:30 on the night I was to check in. She came back at me and said she didn't understand why I was yelling ( I wasn't, she was the one who told me she couldn't hear me) at her because MY card was declined. Completely shocked by how I was being treated I told her I would be there in two hours and hung up. I immediately called my husband in tears and frustration to tell him what happened when the hotel called me back again. The lady this time was very snarky and told me my card was declined again and that she was cancelling my room and said "you can find another room". So there I was in the middle of the night, exhausted, mourning my friend that was dying of cancer, 6 hours from my destination with no place to stay and given it was a game weekend I couldn't find one for hours. I ended up having to drive all the way to Asheville NC to find a room. Now I don't know what your policies are but in 45 years of living and many of those booking hotel rooms I have NEVER had this happen to me. I would hope something will be done to address this situation and would appreciate follow up on what that is. I am a Human Resource Manager for a major company and we use Red Roof for our Corporate traveling.Personally I would terminate an employee for treating a customer like that. Oh and I used the SAME CARD to book my hotel in Asheville with ZERO issues. My husband seems to think they overbooked and used this an excuse to cancel my booking, but either way this was completely uncalled for and I hope it gets addressed because without your guests you would not have jobs or a business. In the meantime I will be notifying our travel department of my experience as well.

My room was affordable and super clean and nice. They even let me check in early, with an extra fee, but not much at all. Overall, I had a really great experience and would definitely come back.Food & drinks: You get a 10% discount at both restaurants next door when you present your room card.

I live nearby but needed a couple days recovery after a bad hospital visit. The room was nothing fancy but everything I needed. The endless hot water was wonderful after being defibrillated. The location is great for food and felt safe. All the staff were friendly and very helpful. I have a 48 pound sheepdog as my mobility dog and she was happy with it too. I'll be back.Rooms: Plain but everything needed and clean

If you are looking for a decent affordable room this is it. The front desk clerk was friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. I will say the bathroom was very small. The bed was pretty comfortable but the pillows were a little flat and there wasn't enough of them. There is road noise but it's on the interstate so that's to be expected. Plenty of nearby restaurants. Overall a good experience. 👍

Rooms were clean. Front desk people were very friendly. Endless hot water but not much water pressure. Older hotel but they have tried to update the rooms. No carpet. Only turn off was the run down elevator with pigeons living in it. Dont park close to the elevator if you dont want to get bird droppings on your vehicle. Elevator seems a little unsafe. If you need just to spend a night or two not a bad choice. Over all good experience.

We stayed at this motel twice during our latest trip--once going south and the other heading north--two weeks apart. Our first stop was because they offered a competitive price and great parking for our trailer. Our room was clean and gave us easy access to our vehicle. Staff was courteous and cheerful. Fridge and microwave. No breakfast, but in our travels, we have found it really not such a great value anyway and usually the coffee is so-so. Ruby Tuesday's next door gave us 10% off as guests of Red Roof.

Staff was nice but room was gross. If I wasn’t traveling with my dad, I’d have asked for a refund and gone elsewhere. Sorry to say, this place wasn’t cleaned well. Tub looks like no one cleans it. Felt like it had sand on the bottom of it. Mold in the tub, bathroom floor & on shower curtain. Toilet not clean and looks like they never clean the base. Mold on the ceiling. Towels were stained. Just gross. But the sink was sparkling clean. Nice lament floors. Unfortunately if my choices were stay here or another Red Roof or continue driving, I’d drive or sleep in my car.

I have stayed at the Red Roof Inn on different occasions & the checkin progress whether it's online or at the front desk the staff are always friendly. I have a Yorkshire Terrier & he is always welcome to come with me with no problems at all. The rooms are always & I mean always clean & I really enjoy staying there. I would recommend anyone to stay here.

Doors look like they've been kicked in. After notifying front desk and requesting to be moved, we were given another room. The second room door only had a chain lock to secure the door but it was pulled out of the wall so useless. I secured the door myself as it was late and we needed sleep. We were woken up several times by people walking by and yelling. Not that the hotel can help that but there were very sketchy people around that appeared to possibly be living in the hotel. The grounds were unkempt and there were cigarettes all over the ground and walkway. Rooms are non-smoking but hallways it is acceptable so the smoke permeates into the rooms.

The hotel was clean and seemed recently renovated. However the bath had been made so tall that getting out was dangerous. The person at the desk also came out and started yelling at everyone outside of the building at 11 that everyone had to get out because checkout was at 11. Additionally, on check in they recommended we go to Ruby Tuesday which is a walkable distance and we would get 10% off by presenting our room keys. This was not true. The Ruby Tuesday staff explained that the new ownership has not continued the deal with Ruby Tuesday.

Had your motel in mind to spend a couple of nights but reading the comments the same issues are repeated review after review. Mainly the Floors, Bathroom & Bed Linens. Has these issues improved? The reviews seem to be hurting your business. I hesitate to make a reservation, I would rather check the room before I made the commitment. Maybe it would be a good decision to have your Housekeeping Manager to check the rooms after they have been cleaned, this way greater responsibility would fall into the correct person to see & know what the issues are with the complaints to improve upon.

We checked in just to get some sleep on a long drive, and we had our dog. The service was incredible, the lady at the desk was so nice!! The room really had potential as the essentials were stocked and the bed looked clean, but the hardwood floor was gross and the bathroom just needs to be demolished and completely redone. But it was quiet and we got rest, so mission accomplished!Rooms: The room really had potential as the essentials were stocked and the bed looked clean, but the hardwood floor was dirty and the bathroom had some black mildew/mold on the ceiling and it was peeling, the bathtub was very discolored.Food & drinks: The location was good with Ruby Tuesday and Perkins nearby for food and a 24 hr gas station right there.Noteworthy details: I can't say enough that the lady at the service desk was so helpful and nice.

Staff was very friendly from the night staff to morning clerk! Maids in the morning were ever very friendly. They offer juice and coffee (coffee was great quality) all the time, no breakfast. Which I was ok with.Rooms are simple and clean, newly updated. Some bedding is stained, only downfall. They had fresh towels, a nice selection of soaps for face and body, shampoo, etc.I was very pleased at this price point.

Nothing bad to say. We've stayed there a lot since we moved to dandridge 3 years ago. Location great. Looks like typical red roof Inn. Nothing fancy but you can go there knowing you won't have issue with booking, staff, bugs, parking etc. Anytime we are remodeling or mom comes to town for 3 WHOLE WEEKS. Her and her dogs stay there. FOR FREE! For a good middle of the road hotel I don't have complaints and it's the only only hotel where cats /dogs stay free.

Rooms were ok, old and outdated, bedspread had stains all over it. Not sure what it was, it was quite large, for all I know it could have been, well I don't want to know, I put in on the floor. It looked like they just put a new coat of paint on the walls yearly. Not the best place in the world, should have gone to the Hampton, but it was full!

The beds was very nice we got two queens the older lady at the desk that checked us in was very nice but I doubt I stay here again because at 11:10am this tall dark hair woman in a burgundy shirt was screaming at my boyfriend in the parking lot to get out the room that is so un professional then at 11:15am she came banging on the door and said y'all have to get out I said ma'am I'm getting my medicine together she said no you are not I said yes I am and then we are leaving just because my bf was waiting for me on the bed she slung the door open and watched me and said he don't look like he's ready I said ma'am hes been ready he's waiting on me. She's the rudest manager I have ever met! We travel a lot & are very upset we had to deal with this. I even paid for early check in because after traveling we was exhausted. I don't appreciate the way she talked to us at all. Also the refrigerator didn't work we told her and she said ok get out like she didn't even care. Last night people was running up and down the hall ways from 1am-3:40am. Hard to sleep but I didn't even complain about that but I will complain about this woman I hope she doesn't do it to anyone else it's so un professional.the bath tub wasn't white it was yellow

Let’s start with the pros….The price was ok, the dog is free, it had semi truck parking, right off the highway, towels were new and white and the pizza delivery was easy. The Cons ….. the tub/ shower and sink has never been clean. EVERThe comforter was dirty ,bed was hard and pillows were small. This could be a really nice hotel it has good bones but you have to have Quality house keeping and Mangement We stay at red roof a lot and they can definitely can do better.

$92 for what? Uncomfortable bed. Basically an upgraded Motel 6. No frills. Nasty bed covers. Flat pillows and no breakfast. I can’t really say anything nice. I wish I could. Surely there are better options in this area. It had truck parking so that was the only reason I stayed.

The front desk staff was very very kind and sweet, however that was the only redeeming factor.I get into my room, and the floors are FILTHY, the sheets had a layer of dust on them - and the sink had a massive hole where the drain should have been, with BUGS crawling out. The first night I was there I saw three RATS outside my door and along the outside walkway. The water stopped working due to a burst water pipe, and when it did come back - the water coming out of the sink and the shower was BROWN. I had to brush my teeth and wash my face with bottled water. The road next to the hotel was loud and all night you hear semis, and squealing tires from people racing up and down the road. The workers outside (fixing the water pipe) were hammering and banging for hours on end. You can hear every noise of your neighbors next/near your room.I brought a heating pad for my back pain, and the microwave literally burned the outsides of the bag - and when set on the mattress, it melted the sheets together, leaving a burn mark on the sheets. Then I was blamed for the burn, instead of them taking responsibility for sheets that could MELT in the first place? Absolutely not.Coming back to the hotel late at night, I did NOT feel safe as a woman alone, and there were multiple creepy men lingering outside of my door, and pacing back and forth. After voicing my complaints to the owner - I was GASLIT into being told that due to having my "Do Not Disturb" sign on my door, they couldn't fix the cleanliness issue I had with my room, and that I actually meant "cats" and not "rats". I saw rats, and I know it.I asked for a refund, and was denied. 0/10 - do not stay here.
