So far, this is our favorite camping spot on our journey. We stayed on site 24. There is a big incline, our tongue was on the ground and still sat 2in too high. It was very spacious and provided quite a bit of privacy, especially during the week. This park was generally quiet, the weekends invited screaming kids and a lot of barking dogs..normal camp life. There's not a lot of trails to walk, but there are a few short ones. We enjoyed walking to the marina and around the park. There's an aviary around the corner that is a sanctuary for injured birds. We never had any run-ins with park rangers other than passing them quite frequently on the roads during our walks. There is an old cemetery outside of the campground, kinda neat to see if you like that sort of thing.

We visited while the lodge was wrapping up some major updates & renovations, so there were challenges for the staff. Everyone handled the questions kindly, patiently & with good humor. They provide an incredible value in weekend getaways!

It is an amazing place for an amazing outdoor door experience. The staff was friendly and accommodating. This place has a lodge and cabins that are renovated, nice , and affordable. Boat rentals and a restaurant in which the food is actually quite tasty. The trails are well labeled and nicely maintained, and the grounds are well laid out and easy to explore with the family. There are also multiple pools, one indoor and one outdoors, along with multiple swimming beached. I highly recommend this site for some family fun and / or something to exprore natures beauty. To add, there are many conference rooms which were well kept. Lastly, there is a golf course and an aviary with wonderful birds to visit!

Very nice camping. Restrooms were very clean. Lots of good hiking trails. Did some fishing from the courtesy docks. Had a really great time. Rv sites may be tight for large RVs. Ours was perfect.

Great little campground with a few awkward campsites so pay close attention to photos especially in relation to your utilities hookups. Our water was on the other side of our site then electric... Great help at the desk at the campground. Clean restrooms with believe it or not....ac units in showers but only one bathhouse for the whole campground which is a little bit spaced out... So once again pay attention to sites photos and lay out on maps. Must be sulfur somewhere close cause every once in a while it smelled strong of it outside.Playground: Great little setup but the sound tube didn't work.Restrooms: See above review. Nice thoDog-friendliness: Of course.... That's why we love our state parks ❤️

We've taken our RV to this park several times. This last time I took the RV alone and was lucky enough to only have one other person in the campground at the same time as I was. They were across the campground in the opposite loop, so it was super enjoyable. The campground is always clean, nice and accommodating staff, and I can't wait to return!

Visited in camp over the memorial weekend. Had a great time. There's so much to do from fishing to renting boats to golfing. Visiting Shiloh which is 20 minutes away. Great location to come and spend time away.

I love going here for some fun fishing but I wish the game warden would come around more and check for fishing license, yes I am that person. I had to pay for one so does everyone else. The rocks are sketchy to climb around on but if you want to fish you don’t mind them. The parking area and bathrooms are always kept clean!

We loved our suite It had a great view and plenty of room. I was a little disappointed we didn't have a stove. But was able to use the stoves at the cabins reserved by other family members. It's a beautiful secluded area with plenty of beautiful sights to see.

Great place for family fun! Campgrounds, cabin rentals, hotel on site. Marina and boat rentals available. Swimming beaches, beautiful lake, paved walking path near hotel and hiking trails near campground and cabins. Storybook trail for children near cabins. Boat ramps, picnic area, aviary, and even a cemetery.

Great place for camping. We had booked the campsite for 3 nights for the memorial day long weekend and had a great time.Even though the camp grounds were full for the weekend it was not too noisy. The campsites have water and electricity outlets, separate grilling station and campfire pits and picnic table. The area for setting up tent was more on the downhill side and made everything in tent slide down. They sell ice and firewood which was pretty convenient for us. The restrooms and showers are pretty new and well maintained. The cleaning and stocking toilet paper needs to be done more often, especially when the campsites are completely booked. But the staff are friendly and helpful and responded quickly to the requirements. The playground near the entrance is good for younger kids. Can see some birds around, and also had a raccoon visit us, just to be disappointed I guess. It didn't find anything except kids screaming and scarring it away.

Views mask everything, so nice! But, windows looking over the water not cleaned in a long time, a shame. Bar says open but was not, only drinks at a table. Seamed under staffed which is a thing everywhere. Catfish was as good as I've ever had. Wife had the chicken breast, real dry took it home for the puppies. We both had green beans, out of a can sadly and laced with salt, not so good. Staff was super nice and attentive. I recommend this place but wish the windows looking out over the lake were clean.

I love going to PickWick. I especially love fishing there and most of the time it's so quiet and relaxing ,I take a blanket and have picnics all the time. If you haven't been , you need to go.

We stayed in the #17 villa. It was so peaceful and relaxing to me because #17 is the last one on the road and surrounded by the lake. The views from the livingroom window and back deck were Amazing! It was off season so the lake was too low to launch the Kayaks so that was the only disappointment of our trip.SO, if you need to unwind, in comfort, CHECK OUT #17

We camped at Pickwick campgrounds during 2019 Memorial day and had a great time! The campgrounds are very easy to access, well maintained - huge space with every camp site with water source.Shower and restrooms at this place we're outstanding. This place has 8 shower rooms - AC and very well maintained. The restroom are clean and well kept. There is 2 miles loop for hiking around the Tennessee river near running through the campground. You could get ice bags (8lb) for $2 and firewood for $5 at the check-in station. Very friendly guys!Few things to note - some sites are inclined, less paved and none of the tent sites have dedicated tent area/bed

It's just a wonderful place to cookout and swim lounge in the sand and sun. Or kick back on the grass the water has a floating barrier so the kiddos don't wonder off.

Really big impeller to generate power. We enjoyed looking around. Grounds well kept, fishermen out and about. The impeller looked like it might be a variable pitch.

The cabin was awesome! It rained the days we were there; but that was ok! Indoor the cabin was beautiful with the floor to ceiling windows & big skylights. The porch & public areas were adorable, like in an ol movie! We'll be back!

Great place to visit. The rooms are nice and clean. There is plenty to do. Close to Shilo National Park. Enjoyed our stay.

Not very elderly or handicap fishing friendly. Few bathrooms long distance from piers and parking not handicap or elderly suitable. Also, it's a long walk from parking to piers for the elderly who often can only walk short distances. Plus ramps are steep and a struggle for elderly and non wheelchair bound handicap and no wheelchair friendly fishing at all. This should be addressed. Plus the ramp to pier at boat launch has multiple soft boards that need fixed.

This is a great place to stay. The rooms were awesome! Everything was so clean and neat. The pool looked so fun. I wished I had brought my suit. The restuarant on site was good and had a great variety for families. This is a beautiful place to stay on the lake!

My family has been coming here for years for kind of a family reunion each summer. The cabins here are great. It's about $1,000 for the week, and you could probably sleep as many as about six people, maybe eight on the floor. They're two bedrooms, one bath. They have minimal kitchens, with a few pots and pans and plates and utensils. This is not five star living, but it's a pretty good deal, you have your own place for the week, you're far enough away from other folks not to be disturbed unless they're throwing a wild party. All in all it's pretty damn good deal. There's fishing, and hiking trails, and boating.

We stayed four nights at Pickwick Landing State Park campground and enjoyed it very much. The campsites were spaced out nicely and they were shaded well. Some of the sites are not very level so come prepared. We were on site 26 and it was a short walk to the lake. We enjoyed a few beautiful sunsets. The state park is knowned for its water recreation since it is located on the Tennessee River. It is also knowned for its golf course which I hear is awesome.
