This was our first time eating at Carmack's Fish Barn and it was really a great experience! The food was great, loved the white beans and hush puppies. We had clam strips and they were really good 😋 The best part was the casual atmosphere and a really sweet waitress named Raelynn (probably spelled that wrong) she was very attentive and has the sweetest smile 😊 We'll be back!

My birthday dinner. Tried a different place.The slaw beans an hushpuppies were high on my expectations..I was looking forward to the fish. Sadly I was disappointed. So I ordered a piece of fried fish to be fair. Sorry to say it did not come up to par. The chocolate pie was good.

This was only our second time going back, the first time was just three years ago before they burnt down. We are so happy they decided to rebuild! We ate here just a week ago. We had a great time! The food was so delicious, the staff were so helpful and nice to our kids. The food was as delicious as we remember it to be. Our kids loved the popcorn chicken and fries. We love Carmacks and hope to eat there again!Kid-friendliness: Staff were talkative to our kids and so friendly. We appreciated it.

I usually only eat fish maybe once a year and it’s normally at the Fish Fry in Paris, TN, and we didn’t eat there this year. Plus I usually only like the things that goes with the fish…like french fries, white beans, slaw, and hush puppies, but I did eat some of the fish and it was good (a little bit too much of a fishy taste), but I ate about a half of a piece and it was ok.

Very busy, which is a good sign but alsovery loud. Need improvements as far as softening the sounds such as curtains and wall hangings.Exterior: The big chunky fill gravel directly in front of the entrance is dangerous and hard to walk on. I hope nobody falls or injures themselves... especially with the aging population that frequent ls the restaurant.

The food was outstanding it was hot and looked very appealing, we had great service from everyone from the time we walked in till we left even with the restaurant being packed front to back. We will be returning here often for the warm atmosphere and friendly smiling faces. Most enjoyable place to eat.

I've never had slaw as deliciousWaitress came by every 5 minutes.Good hot meal. Didn't have to wait over 10 min either. Great environment. Inside of building felt like you were at a special place.

My wife and I have been to Carmack’s Fish Barn on multiple occasions. We have been in large groups, small groups, with other couples and separately. The one thing I can say is that this restaurant and staff have always been outstanding. I have had virtually everything on the menu to include catfish, seafood and steaks. I have never had a bad meal. As a matter of fact, we have carried people there for their first trip and they have always gone back. I can’t say enough good things about Carmack’s Fish Barn. The food is excellent. The staff is excellent. The setting is excellent. You will never go wrong at Carmack’s.
