My dog has been there two times. The first one went with no problems. The second one I don’t know with what kind of food my dog was fed. (HE HAS ALLERGIES AND EAT SPECIAL FOOD) When I picked him up we came back to the house I noticed the food that I packed was in the bag. When I checked him in, the lady at the front desk wrote down everything I told her and I tried to be very specific. When I called to ask about the food the lady who answered just said “I don’t know I was not here yesterday” so they are not in communication or they don’t have a system to know what the dogs need?Of course, I am not coming back.

Great staff, amazing facilities, worth every cent. My oldest dog is a rescue and has a lot of anxiety meeting new people and getting used to new places; they took excellent care of my dogs.Your go-to place.

I really don't even want to give a one star, but I have to, so I can post a review.Do NOT bring your pet here! I have been coming for awhile and have had a few incidents with management. After yesterday's encounter with management, I am done!! One, my dog was attacked in playcare after entering through the gate and watched a staff member working, stand there and do nothing about it and watched it happen because they didn't know how to handle the situation and were not properly trained regarding gate agression, which caused the attack. My dog was NOT at fault. I had to break it up and then had to take my dog to the emergency vet to get stitches. Mind you, I have a gentle goldendoodle who is non-agressive and VERY socialable. This completely caused an inconvience of my work day due to their lack of competency. The staff here is neglectful. The staff sits at playcare on their phones and does nothing to interact with the dogs, then put your dog in a crate at "lunch time" to give the dogs "a break" at playcare, while I am paying good money to have my dog watched and not crated. Secondly, lack of communication with the pet owners even though they have your email and phone number. You might just show up and get letter handed to you for Matt or Lindsey and tell you your pet is not welcomed back for no reason except what THEY think violates apparently their protocol. Thirdly, I was charged randomly for visits because they can't keep their books straight.Overall, my experience with Paws on the Duck is not good. It maybe a convenient location, but I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone looking for a safe and caring environment to board or have playcare. Save yourself the stress and find a more reputable establishment that prioritizes the well being of your pet.

Walk ins are welcome and they have the soft claw tips in many pretty colors. This seems a bit excessive to some but when you're puppies claws scratch your legs and you want to love on them instead of pushing them away it is a great investment...... Absolutely love the service and the paint sparkles for my girl a girl dog and a black for my boy always makes me happy...

They refused to board one of our dogs 1 day before our vacation. They were "too aggressive". Mind you, this is a 10 year old 45 lb dalmatian that has never bitten anyone and barely barks. And yes, they have boarded these same dogs multiple times in the past with no issues. The employee at the desk was extremely rude to my wife, cussing her out in front of my 3 year old child. If you value your dogs or family, look elsewhere. Also apparently recently they lost someone's dog and refused to take accountability? We won't be back

Everyone there was awesome. I have followed Kerry wherever she has worked. She loves all animals as I'm sure the rest of the staff does as well. My dog was so happy and smelled like a cookie, so we had to stop and get some to bake. Lol. Highly recommend.***updated review***Took my dogs in only to find out my normal groomer, Kerry no longer worked there. When I returned to get my dogs, they had lost one of my collars. They searched for a bit but could not find it. Didn't offer to replace it, sell me a new one, or any other options. I get one of my dogs the deshed treatment. It usually lasts 3 to 4 months. This time, it lasted maybe 3 weeks. I'm not sure what is going on there, but it isn't the groomer it was when it first opened.

We love it here. The obedience classes really rounded out our good boy's edges. We now have him enrolled in playcare which is great for socialization and to wear him out on super high energy days. Loki approves!

Lost a dog under their care five days ago and just now made a post on their social media about it. Alerting the public about how to handle the specific dog would’ve been more useful information if it had been posted sooner. Saw them on social media deflecting fault and not taking accountability while accusing concerned patrons of lacking expertise with missing dog situations. Unprofessional.

Update- don’t worry y’all, they said it’s not their responsibility to post it cause everyone else in the town has already done it. Like that’s not the point?lost a dog while it was in their care and things could be overlooked and forgiven and accidents happen. But the fact this business hasn’t made one post or alert about the dog that went missing from their facility on their Facebook page while the whole town is is disgusting. Clearly trying to hide it from the other customers and afraid they will lose business if people know they lose dogs in their care. Also delete comments on their Facebook page asking why they haven’t made a post about it. It is your alls responsibility to let your other customers know!! Paws on the duck make a post about the dog YOU lost!!!!

My dog LOVES this place. (I love it too, but that's less important, right?) As soon as we pull up, his butt starts wiggling. He goes there for grooming, and occasionally we board there too. It is the ONLY place I will ever take him for either. The staff is great, the facilities are impeccable, and the prices are even pretty good. Take your dogs here.

This is our third or fourth time boarding our senior dog at Paws On The Duck and we love it! Our dog is our first child and we have exceptionally high expectations for his care. Paws On The Duck consistently delivers high quality care which makes them stand out from other places we have boarded our dog in the past. They don’t even get annoyed when I call to check on our dog. Special shout out to Terry- that guy LOVES the animals and always puts our mind at ease when leaving our older dog for a spell. We won’t ever go anywhere else. This last time we added a spa day for our dog and he came back looking like a sharp dressed man. Way to go Paws On The Duck for providing truly exceptional care!

This place is great, the staff is friendly, very knowledgeable. They groomed my 100lb st. bernard- American bulldog mix and even Dani (the dog) enjoyed the experience the other services they offer seem great ( training, boarding, I'm not sore what else) and the facilities are fantastic. I'm here on vacation and need a grooming for my dog. They fit me into the schedule and were amazing with her. If i were living in the area I'd definitely be a frequent customer. If you live in the area and are a pet owner is definitely check them out.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE!!!!! I have been getting my dog groomed here since March. My father passed and I needed to board the dog for a few days. When I picked up my dog (will be 17 in January). They stayed everything went well. When I got her home Monday night she was very sick and wouldn’t eat. I called them and asked if they had kennel cough there and was told NO! I took dog to vet and SHE DID HAVE RESPIRATORY infection. I called back and they finally admitted that 2 dogs in boarding had it and that the dogs in doggie daycare had it. I HATE THE DISHONESTY!!! Dog has been sick all week won’t eat drink didn’t respond to meds. WHO KNOWS HOW MANY DAYS SHE WAS SICK IN THEIR Care. I could have gotten my dog to vet on day I picked her up had they been honest. My dog died today she was too weak to fight it.Other people I know have sick dogs from there as well

We have been taking our lab to Paws for a couple of months. 2wks ago we took her for 5 days when we picked her up and she got in the car she started this awful cough and did not stop the rest of the day. We called the vet he took her in first thing in the morning and said she had kennel cough/flu either or he said.Gave her antibiotics and cough meds. My husband emailed Paws to let them know about Sadie, never heard back, so he called and asked to talk to the owner was told the owner is a Veterinarian and is hardly ever there, they said the manager will call he didn’t an employee called us back, and said “there was no Kennel cough at the facility they know of”So to sum it up my dog was infected on the way to our car with kennel cough even though there is a 2-14 day incubation period!! We will NEVER bring our dog back to this place. We pray she gets better! I am so sorry to Kimberly for the loss of her dog!

Got our dog's nails done there. Very pleased...quick,easy and affordable. So glad we found out they did this...it is a great load off of my mind...I don't have to worry about cutting them too short which would hurt him and cause bleeding and they also file the rough edges. We couldn't be more pleased!

This place is the most amazing facility! I've had dogs and cats my whole life and I live in Nashville and will drive all the way to Columbia to have this place take care of my cat and my two dogs. I can promise you this is the best experience you will have with your pets. They will be taken very good care of. I've never seen a more accommodating facility and I've never seen better customer service. I've just only recently found this place and they have continued to impress me. I've recommended my family use place and they are very happy with the experience too. If you have any complaints about this place, then I'm be willing to bet a whole lot that you're one of those people who just wants to be miserable and never happy about anything. I've never felt better about leaving my pets anywhere like I do here.

I visited to ask about the place and was given a very nice tour. What pleased me was how clean the place was. It didn't smell like a kennel. I will be taking my 3 dogs in soon so hopefully will be able to update to 5 stars.Update 3/13/18: 5 stars achieved! Took all three girls to stay for 4 days and they came back happy and smelling good! Was happy to return 3 days later for puppy play care.Will definitely be going back.

We absolutely love the 6 weeks obedience class with Heather!!! Heather genuinely cares about the relationship between you and your dog. Heather went above and beyond for our family. We have a dog that is having a few health concerns and we felt we needed a second opinion and Heather recommended us to a vet she personally uses and even went as far as to personally call to help us be seen that same day.The facilities are very nice and well kept. The staff members were all very friendly.

Terrible service. Poor grooming. I had to repair many errors after this unskilled cut. I gave staff my new phone number to update my account but the staff used my old, non-existent one and didn't try the correct # and my pet had to sit in a cage for HOURS. "We tried to call", I was told. If the number didn't go through, why did they not even attempt to use the other number which IS ON FILE??? 5 1/2 hours for a 20lb dog?? The owner was informed of this oversight and did not seem to care whatsoever.

Wonderful people. Groomers are really good. They treat my pets like royalty and they love going there. Day care is great and so reasonable, you have to try it. Don't leave your pet in cars when this place is here for them. Nice rooms; go see them. Highly recommend all their services.

A little disappointed with this place. Looks nice on the outside but definitely disorganized. Wanted our dog bathed along with a daycare visit. Eventually an overnight boarding.Appointment set but for the wrong day. Had to change it which went fine. Got the email and text.When we arrived today to pick him up I called the number on the board and was told to go the green building. I did not see him in the yard so I asked if he got the bath. No he did not. He was not allowed to go into the yard until he was evaluated. I thought that’s what they were doing today. I was never informed there was a questionnaire until today. It wasn’t in my junk mail. I never got an explanation as to what the process was even after I asked. Essentially he was inside all day.So if you do go there you need to ask what the procedure is to get your dog into the yard outside because the evaluation process was not explained well at all. Most likely a training or Management issue.

Had an appointment for 2 weeks and they never called to change anything. I finally get him there and they said the vet had no record for bordatella treatment so they can’t take him.Very rude, very unprofessional not to cancel BEFORE I got there - two weeks and nothing then turned away because of a mix up.Last time he went there the jacked the price up $20 to $70 for a bath and groom. He weighs 10 lbs, was clean and well groomed before going.They said “well, we raised the prices” with no info posted and no notice until they were finished with him. Rude front desk people. Owned by a vet so…..
