Went in this store, which I NEVER do,on 10/27, bought 2 $50 prepaid cards, when ringing up the second one it wouldn’t process the guy working told me to get another card off the shelf so I did, but my money wasn’t on there and the card didn’t match the receipt. I spoke to the store mgr Amanda, on the phone and in person on the 30th. Since then I’ve left messages 9 times and no response. Just curious if the mgr even shows up or not. Keep getting told she’s not there. Everyday for 5 days before 11 am. WTH? I want my money!! Did ur employee steal it?

Long red haired “dude”? I’m assuming, was very rude and sarcastic. Not sure why dollar general would even have someone like that working for the establishment!! The lot is full of trash out by the dumpster. They could surely organize it way better then just rolling it out all willy-nilly. Make’s dollar general look trashy! The GM should be ashamed…

This store needs to be reported. I was charged sales tax on food in October. Food is tax free through 10/31. I bought only food and was charged 9.75% sales tax. The store is also poorly run.

This is one of my favorite DG's. The workers are all...well almost all the friendliest. The store is always so neat and clean and stocked. And the cashiers seem to work together well because they are always getting the line moved. Hardly ever have long wait times.

Newer Dollar General store and I really like it. Seems bigger, cleaner and not so cluttered. They have way more of a selection than the store close to my home. I will drive further to this store for that very reason. Lots of neat home decor and more food selection. I can browse longer. They dont have carts and boxes in every isle in the way and that is the best part. Makes a huge difference.

Horrible customer service! Highly undependable! I can literally not count the number of times that I've drove to this dollar general establishment, only to find upon arrival that the store is closed during their normal business hours!!!.. yesterday (May 1, 2022) upon arrival at approximately 5:30p.m. they had a sign posted in the door saying they would open in 15 minutes. After waiting in the parking lot with 9 other vehicles the lady female employee came to the door, took the sign down that stated " will be open in 15 minutes" and walked away leaving the establishment locked. Then I walked to the door, tapped on it (as I thought perhaps she'd merely forgot to unlock the door), all for her to come back to the door and gesture with her hands and mouth that they were closed. This is now the 3rd time in as many weeks I've drove all the way to this establishment only to be not permitted entrance due to the store's unreliable operating hours! with the surging costs associated with gasoline in today's economy you'd think the Dollar General could at LEAST have enough respect for it's patrons to represent truthful operating hours on Google as to not be having people waste their hard earned money and time traveling to their stores, only to have to then drive to their competitor!.. btw, if you check out previous reviews you'll see this problem has been ongoing for over a year! Therefore, it's not "every once in a while" or even a "new" troubling issue!

Clean, large, good selection. Living out somewhat far from main grocery stores this is a great stop for a lot of your staples and what you might need. a lot of drink selection too if you're driving by and need something on the way.

This location is larger, and needs a bigger parking lot on weekends! The aisles are more narrow than other stores, so you cannot get two shopping carts through.It's only been open a week and they are doing well. But just like the Rocky Top / Lake City location, I bet the local children and rednecks will wreck the baby, toys and clothing departments soon, and the employees will probably stop caring.

Always a friendly and helpful staff!Edit: it's ridiculous that they are closed at 3:30.Update your hours on line!Stop using covid as an excuse when it's poor management skillsYou don't have anyone to work your sales floor? Then do it yourself, work open to close! That's what any selfe respecting manager would do!You've had plenty of people put in job applications!I say let's call the ADA and have them look at your iles filled to where you can't walk! How about call weights and measures about your inaccurate signs up in your store!

Great for quick grabs, cleaners, etc. This particular Dollar General is the best I've ever been in. Definitely the best in this area. Clean, well organized, friendly, helpfil, courteous. It's the only one we'll use now!

I don't think a manager works at this store there is always 20 carts in the aisles with items on them that needs to be stopped there are always shelves that are always empty because nothing is being stocked the workers there are constantly outside smoking and not taking care of customers or stalking the store you can't find anything in that store due to nothing is being stocked you pay $4 for a gallon of milk $2 for a loaf of bread and you can go to Kroger or another store and get it for cheaper

Dollar general,, now my go-to grocery store/clothing outlet/and everything in between.... I guess I'm at least glad I can say we have 2 of these in our town to choose from and another store very similar making 3 total shop stops... Just wish if they are planning on becoming our new grocery outlet in Rocky Top, that they would have a wider variety or selection of everything.

I usually hate the Dollar General but I do have to say this is a very nice one with a lot of products and no meth heads. That's a huge plus.
