My Zeus absolutely had a blast! The staff were patient and amazing every time I called. I was able to see pics of Zeus which made my time being away easier. The bath the gave has him smelling divine! Definitely making the Ranch my primary groomers and boarders!

Update: the nail they’re referring to in the response is a nail I was aware of however, they clipped a different nail FAR too short.I wanted to love this place because the staff is lovely and it’s reasonably priced but unfortunately, my 1 year old French Bulldog returned from her stay here with scabs on her head, nearly missing a nail from when they groomed her and cut it too short (which was bleeding for a few hours when scab fell off on the ride home and they mentioned at pickup that they “didn’t touch one of her nails because it looked injured”), and now she has kennel cough. I missed the other review here mentioning someone else’s dog that got kennel cough after their stay. I recommend doing business here at your own risk! There are other more sanitary, careful, and considerate places to board your dog.

The ranch has become a second home for our boy Kobe, I say this because the staff all genuinely care about him and treat him like family.He enjoys going to daycare to play with his buddies.They do cute holiday themed parties like for Christmas, valentines, etc and we have enjoyed seeing his photo collection grow.The staff is very professional and they communicate things well with us. We enjoy seeing daily photos of our boy at daycare.They are patient and understanding and always willing to work with us for boarding and or grooming needs. Highly recommend if you want to have a place where your dog genuinely cries to come home because he loves it so much lol 😆

I always get my pup groomed at the ranch and they do such a great job! She has skin allergies so I am particular about what she can be bathed in, but the shampoo and conditioner they use is extremely high quality. I recently booked her for a stay while I was out of town and they took such great care of her. Now she is in daycare weekly and loves to play in the water park! I have not always had great experiences taking my dog to boarding so it’s such a comfort to take her somewhere she is excited about and where I know she has the best care. I would recommend grooming, boarding, and daycare! I have included some of the after pictures of the October groom they gave my pup!

My little 4 month old puppy “Dolly” had been going to here for daycare the past 2 months. I didn’t know what to do with her while I worked and now I would not do anything but bring her here! Everyone that works here is so amazing with her and you can tell she loves them! She jumps out of my car everyday to go into work. Between the videos and pics I get of her I know she is having a great time! I would highly recommend this place to anyone!

We have boarded our two border collies here a couple times and every time we pick them up they always seem to cough/hack and get diagnosed with kennel cough even though every dog is supposed to be updated on shots before boarding. Like responsible pet owners, we always make sure our dogs are up to date on everything they need before boarding them, but this may not be the case for other people who let their dogs board at The Ranch. This last time we left them for a week while we went on a family vacation; we picked them up and not long after we got them home we noticed they both started hacking and coughing. We took them to the vet and the vet diagnosed them both with kennel cough and prescribed them antibiotics. We know our sweet dogs caught this while they were staying at The Ranch. We gave them a second chance, but we are not satisfied with how things always seem to turn out. It’s honestly disappointing with the lack of updates we got about our sweet border collies while we were on vacation. We had to go out of our way to call and ask about how our dogs were doing, we received no pictures, updates, or anything regarding our dogs while we were gone. It’s comforting knowing that your dogs are being well taken care, but we were worried about our dogs the whole time… and it’s hard to enjoy a family vacation while worrying about our fur babies. Upon picking them up, apparently they gave our dogs a “bath,” but they didn’t seem clean. They didn’t give us the correct dog bowls back either. My family and I have lost trust and faith in this facility and we will never bring our dogs back here again. We highly would NOT recommend boarding your fur babies here.

Our dog is always excited and happy to visit The Ranch! Everyone who works at The Ranch is friendly, kind, and thoughtful. The employees seem to genuinely enjoy taking care of the dogs. Of the four daycare and boarding locations in Chattanooga we have participated with, The Ranch is by far our favorite place! With boarding and daycare both, we have only positive experiences. We highly recommend!!

We have used The Ranch for boarding and daycare of our dogs for over three years. The quality of care our dogs receive is outstanding. Our 13 y/o old dog had a medical emergency while at daycare yesterday. The staff responded quickly, transported him to a highly reputable emergency vet hospital, and stayed with him until they were able to contact us. Their attention, caring nature, and willingness to go above are why we continue to to believe you are the best day care and boarding facility in the Chattanooga area. Update: 8/25/2023 my dog is still fighting the infection in her leg. She is hurting and I am now out nearly $1000. Do not risk your pups health with this place!My dog was recently bitten by another dog while boarding at The Ranch at Bonny Oaks. She was not given medical treatment, and is now fighting a nasty infection in her wound. At pickup, the facility lied to me about her stay and insisted that she was “individual play only”, and made no mention of her injury or any kind of incident. For context, I asked that she not be involved in rough play due to a recent knee injury. A few hours after bringing our dog home I found a site on her leg to be very swollen and painful, I decided to give it a day thinking it was a bee sting or soft tissue injury and by the next day she became lethargic, and did not want to eat or walk. I took her to the vet ASAP. Our veterinarian found two infected puncture wounds consistent with a bite. It is very clear that she was not given medical treatment at the time of the incident and as a result of that became very sick. I have spent nearly $500 on vet bills because of this and we are still not out of the woods yet. Clearly this has been a very upsetting and expensive experience for us, most importantly, my sweet friend has suffered. I called and spoke with a staff member, Sydney, and was told that they would not help with the vet bills. I get that they are not legally obligated to cover vet expenses related to injury at their facility, but it’s the right thing to do. During my call she once again insisted that my dog was not around others, had a great stay, and that they have no idea how her injury could have happened. She asked that I call back with more information after our vet appointment, I did so and spoke to another staff member who left a message and told me that I would receive a call back. I have not been contacted. There are a few other things about her 7 day stay that didn’t sit well with me either. When returned, her bedding had been soaked with urine. I understand that these items were too big for their washer, but I am concerned at the state they came back in. My dog is not one to pee inside or on her belongings, I am wondering if she was left without access to the potty area. Not to mention she smelled suspiciously clean, which in itself is not a bad thing, but I was told that she had not been bathed. Considering the state of her bedding I am wondering how long she went without it and if she had been hosed off and left to lay on bare concrete for who knows how long. When I dropped her off I asked to see where she was staying, and found the boarding area to be hot and wet, smelly, and the kennels extremely small (a large dog would have no head room). I had booked a suite for a large dog and the kennel she was placed in was no more than 2x3 feet with a small door to a narrow concrete area outside to go potty. This answered my question as to why they do not have photos of this part of their facility pictured on their website. Against my better judgment, I left my dog there and now deeply regret it. And due to this experience, I have concerns about the safety and quality of care provided at this facility.Pet Parents: If you are considering boarding your dog here, please take into account our experience. I’m not saying that what happened to my dog will happen to yours, but let our experience serve as a cautionary tale if you are thinking of boarding your pet at The Ranch.

I have been using the Ranch for boarding and grooming for about 2 years now and they are always very friendly, clean and on top of things with my fur baby! She always comes back happy and looking beautiful. I’ve had encounters with servers of the staff members there and not had a bad experience with any of them! We dropped our three off for 4 days while we went out of town. Asked them to be bathed. They were MORE than bathed. Husky’s have lots of fur. They were so fluffy and fur free when we picked them up!! All three were in great shape and happy as well. Will be using them again for sure!

I’ve really enjoyed taking my dog here for daycare and boarding. At one point, had the most about it days with daycare out of any dog. The staff is super friendly as well, but the reason for the lower star review is pricing. They’ve increased daycare 2-3 times and boarding 2-3 times over the course of the last 1.5yrs quite a bit. Making it not very affordable and having me look for other boarding places. I used to do daycare 3-5 times a week, and now it is maybe 1 time a week due to pricing increases. Wish pricing would be honored for consistent customers. Saddened this is what I am having to do since my dog loves this place.

I am incredibly disappointed to even have to leave this review. Everyone has different experiences and everyone’s dog is different. We took our dogs last week for daycare to have exposure before we boarded them this past weekend. Was told in the quick interaction when I picked them up they were great and my dogs came home worn out!However, after picking them up this morning, we will never return. We were told one of our dogs got into an altercation with another dog and was removed from daycare for the day. I was so embarrassed as a dog owner since my dogs have never had a bad report from our groomer or when they would play at The Ark years prior, but I know it’s inevitable. When we brought them home to wipe them down from the rain, we noticed blood coming from under one of our dogs eye, he’s mostly black so it was hard to see initially. My husband checked and immediately rushed him to the vet. When I called to ask when the altercation had happened she said it was Friday and they checked him out and that he seemed fine. Today is Monday…Again, as a dog owner I was so embarrassed it even happened, but to not call immediately letting us know it happened, and then just responded with, “sorry I hope he’s okay” when I called, is not okay. We were also sent home with random food and water bowls that were not theirs. When I went back in to ask if they had them close since they didn’t make it in their bag, an associate checked on a self where it looked like they had all been mixed together. Not the biggest deal I guess, but kind of annoying. My husband also made the comment it looked like they didn’t take anything out of the bag other than their bowls, meaning their toys or food bowl stands were most likely untouched. Overall, we are incredibly disappointed. We were also not given a form or paper work to fill out and sign before boarding or daycare. The only information they took was basic contact info, the boy’s shot records and feeding instructions.Nothing to offer to try to fix it. Again, it could have been our dog that initiated, and I’m totally embarrassed by it. We just wished we would have known and would have offered something a bit more than just an apology.We did take our dog to the vet and the cut was pretty nasty but they reassured he was fine and was given antibiotics.

This was the first time at this boarding facility. I rarely give 5 stars, but did, based on caring staff and little extras they provided at no charge, and the facilities they offer. I was grateful they could take my pets at short notice, because I had to go to a funeral out of State.

Marley stayed here this weekend and after I picked her up she smells so good 😊 she seems really happy and the staff was so nice. I feel great bringing her back up here. Mud pie and Obadiah love it the Ranch! They are the best! We now live in Jasper and bring them normally a couple times a month for boarding and daycare. They pay pictures of the puppies everyday and they all smile. Mud Pie especially loves summer when they have the splash pad, she lives getting in water. They are so excited when we do them off, they don't even look back. See you mom. Lol the staff is awesome, so friendly and very helpful all of the time. I can't say enough. It's absolutely the best place to take your fur babies! I love them!

My boxers are obsessed with this place!! They always have the best time and immediately get excited when we say we are going to "The Ranch"! The owners are so amazing and you can tell this isn't just a business for them..it's their passion! I love knowing my pups are in amazing hands when I can't be with them! Don't tell the owners but I think our boxers, Mateo and Sadie Jean, like them more than us! 🤫🤣. 10 stars highly recommend!!!

We are new to the area and our dog was in desperate need of a groom. The Ranch has Tues/Thurs set aside for Doodles and we were able to get in within a week or two which was a plus. The facility was nice, appears to be new or recently remodeled. Since they do boarding/daycare as well it was quite noisy and communication st check-in was difficult. We did not meet with the groomer(s) directly, instructions were relayed thru the front desk. Prices were reasonable, but I wouldn't say the cut was great. It was closer to a shave than a cut and after only a week and a half its growing out unevenly. She did not come out smelling like heavy perfume which was nice, but the shampoo must have been very drying as she has been scratching like mad. I think we will keep looking.

I honestly wish I didn't have to post this. Owners are nice but they don't know how to run a dog business. They don't give proper paper work you need for the irs. I have message multiple times with them saying they will get it to me. That was back in May. They need better management. This place is honestly a groomers nightmare not being ran by actual groomer. An online school does not make you a groomer and it is killing the grooming industry. Even though the doggy daycare is extremely nice, I truly wish a real groomer would have bought this place. I got attacked by a cat right before I left and it caused extreme damage to my left hand for months. There was no grooming insurance or accident report made. Ever time I had an issue or a question the owner would call in her husband and i would feel ganged up on. I hope things are better now. Groomers beware.

Great service and friendly staff. I love the new renovations and so do my pups! I love seeing my dogs on The Ranch's Facebook using their waterpark, while I'm out of town! I've tried most of the kennels in town and this one is definitely our favorite!

I got my dog boarded multiple times and everytime my dog never likes it. They don't let him out and they treat him badly. I've never seen my dog so scared to go in a place. Even the vet and he hates the vet. I called to let them know someone was picking him up a couple minutes late and they left amd won't pick up the phones. I will never take him here ever. Even their grooming services are horrible. They don't do a thorough wash and made excuses as to why they can't do their jobs correctly. I do not recommend whatsoever.

Melonie (owner) and Kaitlin (manager) are exceptional at loving on your pets….or kids as they refer to them. This new ownership team is friendly, responsive, and very reliable. Both labs of ours are always so excited to go to “The Ranch” and come back clean and well taken care of. Melonie and her husband are completely renovating the facilities to include a new splash pad, front entrance, fencing, and kennels. 5 stars for this review because of the staff, facilities, value, and overall great experience every time we leave Enzo and Lexi in their loving care.

I have been trying to find a good groomer that can deal with the difficult coats and the energy of two young dramatic Husky's and was extremely satisfied of the results .The staff treats every dog that comes in with the same love you would but with all the expertise to actually groom them well. Already booked my next visit and am excited to get them on recurring groom's.
