Little hole in the wall, lunch and dinner diner. It's name us because the owner loves purple and daisies.Great food, great service, great atmosphere.Where regulars known by name, the servers smile and great you warmly.Service is fast and prices are reasonable. If the server tells you your meal has a lot of food, BELIEVE her. I did not and could not finish.I had the BBQ Pork Nachos. To die for.I also had a bowl of chili. Tasted great just not spicy enough for me. Added Purple Daisy Hot Sauce and it was perfect.I highly recommend this place.

2024-Feb. There were lots of available parking spaces in front of the facility. We were here for lunch, with no reservation, and were seated right away. Our drinks order was served quickly. Our meal order got messed up but was corrected with a little bit more wait as the other meals were already served. The food was good. The dessert was ok. The meal was affordable.Bon Appétit 😋

We enjoyed our lunch at The Purple Daisy. The service was quick, we got there right at opening on a Monday, and were able to seat ourselves immediately. The servers all helped each other out and were quick to ask if we wanted refills. They were accommodating for our kid who wanted a chili dog which wasn’t on the menu. The hashbrown casserole is the best I’ve ever had. The ribs were a dry rub and good, but better with their sweet sauce. They don’t offer French fries which is a bit odd, but not a deal breaker. They have both indoor & outdoor seating. We will definitely be back in future trips to Chatt!

We came here at the recommendation of our tour guide at Ruby Falls Cave walk. The place is within walking distance from the Incline Railway and has plenty of free parking as well as parking at the paid lot for the railway. We had the St Louis ribs, the hot slaw, and the hashbrown casserole. The hot slaw was out of this world and the casserole was excellent. The ribs were soft, tender fall of the bone, but could have used a little more salt. All in all this is a great local spot, they were setting up a live band as we were heading out.

This is a great restaurant with cool vintage items all over the walls as well as the tables being vintage themselves. Very friendly, warm, inviting employees giving great service! But keep in mind this is a small place. There is eating outside on the porch as well. The parking is very limited during peak hours (We went at lunch). And there may be a good wait for your food during peak hours as well. They do not have french fries, only chips, coleslaw, etc. But the barbecue is good!! The best way to enter is through the exit road for the incline railroad. 👍🏻👍🏻

I sat at an outdoor table. The weather was beautiful and the server was awesome, she made an excellent suggestion to try the locally-brewed brown ale they had on tap. the BBQ was flavorful and smoky but not overpowering, and the original BBQ sauce had a sweet & vinegary tang. The hash brown casserole was cheesy and potatoey & the Banana Pudding was Incredible! I loved it

We had a group of 6 eat here, we tried the rib plate, BLT, BBQ pork nachos, smoked wings, and hashbrown casserole as our meal… it was PHENOMENAL! The food, the service just amazing! We were there on a Saturday right when they opened at 11 so we didn’t have a wait our food came extremely fast which was great for the 3 ‘starving’ kiddos we had!

If you’re in the Chattanooga area you have to try the Purple Daisy. We are a family of 12 visiting from Florida looking for a place to eat and this one came up in our search. Wasn’t 100% sure to go there because it seemed so small, but went there on a whim and we all agreed hands down this is one of the best barbecue places we have ever tried and at very reasonable prices. Amazing ribs, literally fall off the bone smoked ribs, great baked beans, the potato salad was so good, also very good stuffed potato…I honestly cannot say enough good things, everything was amazing. We had Chloe and Jordan serving us and they were great as well, friendly and very patient with us. Do not listen to any bad reviews, if any; this is a must try, 10 out of 10!

We stopped here (my family) after a visit to Rock City and were quite impressed with the service we received at this restaurant. It was busy when we got there, but we didn't have to wait too long for a table, and our food and drinks arrived right on time. The food was okay. My husband had the BBQ quesadillas and I had the nachos. The kids had meals off the kids menu. We all finished our food and left feeling quite satisfied. We'll be back the next time we take a trip up to Chattanooga.

The food is good.I had visited previously and remember the topped potato being more full on that visit. What prompted me to write this review was the lack there was this time. The BBQ was watered down. Like really watered down, it was kind of disgusting in a way trying to soak the potato because the flavor just was not sticking anymore. On account of the loading over the potato it was not the same again. There was very little meat and the sour cream was not apparent. I literally had to look for it to see where they put it and just figured that they must have put so little that it was just not in there.I did not enjoy this experience, and this is not counting how long I had to wait to order my meal because they were not paying attention. Drank the tea and they didn't ask for a refill.Pretty much, I was so dry that I couldn't finish the potato and gave up. Most likely not going there again.Parking: Few spots available and be careful to go into street because if you are on the other side of the road there are a lot of traffic and must be quick to cross.

This place is great. It has inside and outside seating. All the staff were great very friendly. The food was out of this world. Good portion for the price. The banana pudding is really great. This is well worth the drive. I would recommend to try this if you are in the area or are just looking for a great place to eat!

We enjoyed our bbq lunch here. Staff was friendly and efficient. The atmosphere was charmingly quirky. Food was delicious. We ate bbq stuffed potato, bbq nachos, Alabama dirt pudding and banana pudding for dessert. All of it was yummy. Prices were good as well as portion sizes. It was a busy day, and social distancing was difficult, but I imagine it spoke to the place's popularity. We were in and out and satisfied in just under an hour during lunch rush.

Is located close to the bottom of Incline Railway. Great place to bring the family. There is seating inside and out. The staff was great. Waitress was prompt. We ate outside. The food was good, but lacked the flavors/zip we were hoping for. The chili and the cheesy hashbrown casserole were delish. The sauces were good.

Small, but cute restaurant. Located just across from the parking lot of the incline train. We walked up with a party of 13. The server had no problem putting us together outside (which was best since we had 8 kids)! Small menu, but delicious food. Their BBQ sauce is fantastic! Food came out fast, service was great, prices are great! I ordered their special (smoked wings) and they were very good topped with their hot BBQ sauce and also the sweet sauce. I also ordered their hashbrown casserole as a side. It was great, but it does have jalapeños and a bit of a kick. The baked beans are loaded with onions. My sister tried the tomato soup and loved it, it seemed creamy and not as strong of a tomato taste. Photos are the smoked wings, hash brown casserole, hot dog, and tomato soup. Great place to eat!

NOT for Large Groups; most tables seat 6 or less. Entrees were unique and flavorful but most meals just come with chips. Ambiance & Decor is super eclectic. Food came quickly, but took awhile to get drinks.
