We just started going here and after our second visit we purchased the quarterly membership because we knew we would definitely be back plenty! Our pup LOVES being able to run freely and socialize and take a dip in the water when she starts getting too hot! One thing I did appreciate was the staff offering to give our pup the bordatella vaccine right then and there as long as we purchased it from the tractor supply down the road ($15) as our pup didn’t have that vaccine on her record. This really made us respect the place more because they could have easily just sent us away for not having the vaccine. All the staff is amazing and stay very alert when dogs start getting a bit rough with each other. We are definitely excited to spend more time here!

Update 1/31/24: We went today and unfortunately my dog was attacked. A new dog had entered the group, all the other dogs (included mine) did the usual sniffs. Then everyone started zooming around and playing for several minutes. The new dog suddenly turned on mine, pinned him, and started biting at his face. After the other owner finally helped me get his dog off mine, he tells me, “Well my dog doesn’t like being chased.” I don’t quite understand why this dog was put into a social setting like this if he turned aggressive during play. I was also concerned that no employee was in the play yard the 30 minutes we were there this time. I may be misunderstood because I have only been twice, but I thought an employee stayed out there at all times. I’m not blaming Play Wash Pint for this owner’s negligence to his dog’s known behavior and I knew before going that there was always a risk of fights. But I definitely don’t feel as good about this visit as my first visit. An employee did come out after the altercation to ask if my dog was okay. I’m happy to check out their “sister store,” Play Wash Stay, where I feel the play in their daycare groups will be better structured. But I don’t think this setting is the right fit for us. I’ll still recommend the business because despite my unfortunate experience, I don’t think it’s a bad place at all. The dogs and humans obviously enjoy it and maybe in the future, we’ll give it another try.My boy had a blast here! The employees were so nice and helpful. Whenever my dog got spooked from one of the employees going to pet him, they were super understanding about it and were very sweet with him. There’s lots of areas for the humans to sit, plenty of fun equipment for the dogs, plus a ton of tennis balls! It seemed like the owners that were there with us were monitoring their own dogs well, plus an employee keeping an eye on the dogs playing. We’ll definitely be back!

Hannah and her crew are the best! We’ve been coming here for 5 years and love it! We know that our pup is loved and safe when he’s here. Definitely part of our weekend - and usually mid week - plans too!Playground: The playground is clean and safe. The rangers always make sure that all the pups are on their best puppy behavior!!Restrooms: Bathrooms are always clean!Dog-friendliness: We love the fact that all dogs are required to have current vaccinations at all times.Picnic area: Cold beer on tap and dogs… what a great way to spend the day!

We love play wash pint! The staff is great! Everyone is friendly & very attentive to the customers and the dogs. There is a fetch zone, several water areas, and places for your dog to run & play. It’s the perfect place for a pup birthday party. They have a great selection of beer and often host things like trivia night, paint your pet, etc… There is a great wash station with a dryer available too.

If you’re visiting Chattanooga with your pet, you need to bring them here. Our dog loves it. The staff is great!

Play Wash Pint is truly a heaven on earth for dogs and their human companions. Picture this, you walk into a dog park and they ask you if you want a beer on draft, your dogs socializing with other happy pups. If one of the dogs gets too excited or aggressive, the wonderful staff steps in with spray bottles or will pull a dog off another. It's stress free both because of the staff and the alcoholic beverages that you can access even while in the park. Every time we drive through Chattanooga, PWP is a required stop! I hope something like this can open up all over the country.

While we couldn't get our dog in because I didn't have her vet records on hand, we observed the park and surround things. Such a great environment for pups to run around and live their best lives while the humans get to relax and have a brew. Was a food stand outside as well as an ice cream truck. There was a DJ there, but the volume seemed a bit excessive for the type of audience of this area.

Quite honestly shocked by the behavior of Hannah, the manager of Play Wash Pint, who denied entry for playing with the dogs outside of the fence on our way in. Accused us of “antagonizing” the dogs and questioned my ability to be a dog owner despite having a dog.We were participating in the Chattanooga Tacos + Tequila Bar Crawl which this establishment was participating in. Hannah told us we were not welcome and that we would not be missed. Would happily return once management is reevaluated. I do appreciate and give credit to the bartenders who understood our point of view and expressed how they didn’t understand why it escalated the way it did.

I visited play wash pint for the first time and sadly I will not be returning. I was so stoked to have an environment where I feel like my pup and we could have a good time, socialize with friends, and not have to worry about aggressive dogs (whose owners refuse to acknowledge the danger it puts other dogs in when they bring them to a dog park).Well, unfortunately, after my arrival my dog was viciously attacked by a Doberman (I can’t remember the dobermans name). The Doberman had my dog by the neck, pinned down, and biting while shaking his head violently back and forth. God knows how, but someone was able to get the Doberman off of my dog (it was wearing a shock collar so maybe the owner shocked him?) (red flag already). Thankfully my dog has EXTREMELY thick fur so there was no punctured skin. The owner and the dog then went into another side of the park where it was closed off from the main park. I was then approached by an employee who advised me this doberman comes to PWP all the time and “typically” doesn’t have issues. I asked that the dog and owner be removed/expelled from the park and the staff advised me the dog and his owner have come here for a long time and believed the dog was just “having a bad day” and said they weren’t going to do anything about it since the Doberman didn’t break my dogs skin. After talking with the staff it was evident the staff member and dobermans owner were friends because they spent the majority of the time together in the other gated park talking. Now, I will say they did offer to comp my day pass or give me a beer to “calm my nerves” but honestly the big issue here is even if it’s his first instance the dog should NOT be allowed to come back to the park. That Doberman had was very aggressive and could potentially hurt someone. Not to mention I could (and I should) report the dog to animal control for the aggressiveness. I can’t imagine the trauma it could’ve caused physically if my dog didn’t have thick fur.My dog is so sweet and so submissive so it was just laying there while the Doberman chomped on my boys neck. I really really wish my experience was better but I don’t recommend coming here if you’re worried about your dogs safety. I want to forewarn you to be vigilant if you are going to bring your dog here. And specifically watch for the Doberman and the owner (cause she said she didn’t understand why I was making a big deal about it).

Wonderful place for dogs and dog-lovers. Staff were crazy kind and attentive. Patrons weren’t too bad, considering they’re human. Very reasonable cost-wise.

My dog and I love coming to PWP! The staff is very welcoming and attentive. The hours and pricing are great. My little Zoey is very small and I have always felt comfortable in her safety at the park!

Feel let down by management today.Walked into Play wash pint as a customer today as a part of the taco and tequila bar crawl which they were a participating establishment. When we walked in we were met by the associate who explained that management were not going to allow entry for “antagonising the dogs” - this was a rather overreaction to playing with the dogs through the outside fence before entry.Hannah met us with immediate confrontation and insult when she mentioned that we clearly didn’t understand dog behaviour and didn’t own dogs. As a dog owner for the past 18 years this was highly offensive. She also mentioned that we “wouldn't be missed” at the establishment.I returned to the play wash pint to kindly discuss this situation with the associates at the bar who were completely unaware that they were listed as a part of the bar crawl program which shows a lot of the management of the place.Judging by the way this was handled, I would not return but was also told I “would not be missed” - terrible customer service with people who clearly do not understand how to run a place

Lots of friendly, playful pups! We had 3 dogs who were shy but got some good playtime in with the other dogs. I quite liked the 2 beers I had, the Brooklyn Hazy and the Bravazzi Blood Orange. The dog park was small in size, but had lots of cool dog activities including a separated fetch area.

I call it my happy place! Unlike other dog parks, Play Wash Pint is always clean and tidy and I can comfortably bring my dog here without worries that he may be injured by poorly maintained grounds or by another dog. Their staff is friendly and knowledgeable, often stopping fights before they ever happen. There are many regulars here thanks to such great service! Me and my dog are so beyond happy we discovered this place!!

I wasn’t going to leave a review because I thought my experience might be a one off but then I saw another persons dog was attacked there too. I’ve been to many dog bars because we travel a lot and an attack is a first for us but here is our experience from last week: Even though the place says no toys allowed, they have tennis balls and chuckits…a guy was trying to use the chuckit with his pup and my dog got excited and wanted to play too. I guess the dog didn’t like that and attacked her. It was broken up but my dog had blood on her and her collar had a hole in it. So obviously, I freaked out and went to the quiet area where there was a mom with her two young children… No children are allowed there supposedly. And they just happen to be the wife and daughters of the guy who had the other dog. She told me the dog bleeds from his warts or something. Obviously, I was distraught but luckily that was the case and it was just blood thank God. But I do have to get her a new collar and no one really cared. The guy said that his dog “doesn’t like other dogs barking and lunging at him”. We ended up leaving but decided to go back later once that family was gone. But I felt like the worker was still trying to blame/shame my dog so we finally left for good and will not be back even though we will definitely be in the area.

My puppy is loving this place, it was a goal to get him fully vaccinated so he could try it out. He has come to love it, the staff is friendly, the place is nice and there are plenty of fun dogs to play and socialize with. There's plenty of water for him to drink and play in, as well as toys and obstacles. The turf means no mud which is a big plus. Besides, there is a wash station if he needed it! This facility gets 2 thumbs up from me, and 4 paws up from my happy puppy!

went to this place for the first time this weekend 2/26/2023. It had several spots for dog owners to sit and hang out while watching their dogs play. If your dog doesn't like playing with other dogs, this may not be for you. You can't take any toys with you, but they have some stray tennis balls and things. Be prepared to pick up after your pet, and others pets (not all pet parents are diligent about keeping an eye on their dogs). The Weekend fee was about $10. They had 2 attendants for about 30+ dogs.I wish it were a little larger. With all of the dogs and people, I can see how this place gets cramped on the weekends.

Visiting from out of town and happened upon this place. It was beyond perfect since we wanted a place to hang out but need a welcoming place for our dog. The staff was AMAZING!! So thoughtful, helpful, and attentive. Thanks again for helping us!! The facilities and beer was sublime. Not a great place for kids (which makes total sense), however they can hang out on the patio outside of the off-leash area. Definitely recommend! Thanks again!Dog-friendliness: Perfectly made with dogs in mind. Great and safe environment for the pups!

Our doodle, River Belle, loves Play Wash Pint! Everyone is friendly, and we love that they have rangers monitoring the park. We don't live close, but would go all the time of we did. I wish they would open more locations!

We came here with our friends and pups and had an absolute blast! It was such a cute space and the staff was great at making sure the dogs were playing nicely. Only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is due to one of the workers rudely letting my friend know no alcohol is to leave the premises while we were looking for our dogs shot records. We had no intention of leaving as we knew we had them it was just taking us a little while to find them and it was completely unnecessary as we were working with someone else. She came in out of nowhere had an extremely rude and condescending tone. If anyone read the situation they could see we were not planning on leaving with our drinks, we weren’t even close to the exit. It would’ve been one thing if we were actively walking out or if it was said in a “hey just a heads up” way but it wasn’t and soured our experience here.

Pro tip, you don't have to have a dog to enjoy this wonderful park with cold beer, sweet pups, and good people! My friend and I came up to visit Chattanooga and stumbled upon this gem. We're actually both cat mom's, but we were warmly welcomed and happily spent the afternoon petting dogs and visiting with locals.

My vet doesn't put expiration dates on my dogs records , and they require that, instead they put the dates of vaccination, so we won't be going.Yes provided records, was turned away. My vet sys everything is up to date. I don't need to go to more trouble to pay to go j to a dog park when others are free and better

This place is incredible! Even when it’s not quite the perfect weather, the Astro turf make it easy to take our dog and now worry about her getting muddy. The staff is always very friendly and will only break up the dogs if necessary. Can not speak highly enough of this place!

Loved our experience at PWP! Staff and super attentive, which is helpful when it’s crowded and hard to keep track of your dog. It was my dog’s first time going, and they made sure she wasn’t too overwhelmed after she first entered. Thanks for a great time, PWP!

Great place to take your dog and hang out. They also have beer available and/or hot chocolate and other non-alcoholic drinks if that’s your choice. The staff are very attentive , professional, and friendly! Highly recommend!

Play Wash Pint has been our haven since moving to Chattanooga this summer. Badger enjoys many of the services offered at PWP, including daycare, washes, and free play at the dog park! Recently, I have been in quarantine and unable to take him out for his daily walks and runs. The wonderful Ruff Rangers at PWP helped us out today by arranging a safe handoff for Walk the Block services. Badger was all smiles after Synthia dropped him off :) Pic attached. We have also set up for him to be transported to daycare next week. I am continuously overjoyed by our experiences with PWP. Their services are top notch, and the people they employ cannot be beat! They have done nothing but love on my pup since day one. And did I mention that they are one of only a handful of places in the area to serve Austin East Ciders?! This Texas native feels right at home!

My dog loved this place when he was puppy, but they do not allow dogs who aren't neutered or spayed. This rule needs to change because it's unfortunate and they're missing out on money. The space does need to be opened up more to give the dogs enough room to run as it feels too small. The staff is great. You don't have to worry about your dogs getting dirty either. 3/5 stars.
