The deli here usually has good food and excellent service. Everybody has a rough day from time to time. I haven't experienced that here ever. Great salad bar and wings are available also. It is a nice lunch option if you are in the St. Elmo area.

I have been told that this Food City is closing soon Which I am not very happy about because it's the only grocery store close to me and a lot of other people and it's going to put us all in a bind as far as getting prescriptions and groceries. The staff at this Food City is awesome and we need for them to stay in our neighborhood.

This one is further away than the food City that is right down the street from my house. Because of the lousy management of the food City right down the street from my house I want to go in there again. The one close to me is so poorly run it should be shut down. It is not uncommon to have one person ringing up customers when there are literally 20 people waiting in one line. I don't go there anymore. I would rather drive 2 mi out of my way and go to this one where they run the grocery store like it should be run and you don't have to deal with an ignorant manager with an attitude problem it was too lazy to get anybody to do their job in the entire store. This one's great cuz everybody there is nice and friendly it is running efficiently and it's well stocked and always clean. Yeah I'll drive 2 miles out of my way just to go to that store and not deal with the one close to me.

This is a nice food city but it's very overpriced. 2 lbs of chicken breasts cost more than 5lbs at the one only 15 mins away ummm bag of rice 1 lb was 12.99 vs 3.48 of the same thing . Crazy high prices!

Nice location and clean. The parking lot can sometimes collect homeless people but there seems to always be a police car parked near the front door. This is my usual spot for groceries.

I've shopped here for years. Best meat department in town, and excellent service at their counter. They're always glad to wait on you and make a special cut if requested. Some of the employees have been here for several years and they're always friendly too. Two thumbs up.

Easy access from St. Elmo and the Georgia State line with ample parking and a gas station. The inside is always clean and the cashiers are friendly. The deli and meat department is well attended and willing to help with any questions. The produce department is well kept, but the produce we receive in this area is not the best quality. I have brought produce back to the store on several occasions.The store had no problems returning my money. I buy at this store because they have some good discounts on bread and meat.

The Store is clean, and as stocked as it can be, even with shortages.The Staff is sometimes friendly, sometimes not, depending on the weather and time of day. Mornings are great, late afternoon / evenings are not great.The worst part is that there are never any electric carts for those with mobility issues. They are either broken, dead, kids playing on them, or employees sitting on them, taking their break.This is why we pay the higher price and shop at Publix, they always have working equipment, and friendly staff, no matter what time of the day.

This location was renovated about a year ago (2016) and it looks cleaner and more organized. The staff at checkout also seem more helpful and professional.Unfortunately the produce is not very fresh and has poor flavor and texture. I have been lucky with the bananas and lettuce. But the Idaho potatoes rotted within two weeks of purchase and I purchased two watermelons in the past three weeks (one through curbside pickup and one in person labeled from Kentucky) but both were dry and pink rather than juicy and red inside.The bakery does offer free kids cookies while you shop but the staff in the bakery are not friendly and seem busy in the back working, lack customer service.The deli often has specials and they do have fresh and flavorful deli meat. I also like the variety of bread available on the bread aisle. They have a good selection of dairy, frozen food, and meat.Updated June 2018: every time I visited in the past 6 months there were panhandling on the parking lot. Today it was a young teen boy, last week it was a middle-aged woman begging for money. It makes the visit to the grocery store feel unsafe with strangers approaching my young family every visit.Also, the rare times I purchase alcohol the cashiers have to call a manager, which takes a while to check out, because the staff is too young to legally sell alcohol.

Very big and clean store. But, needs to improve the attitude of some of the young workers at the checkout. They do not greet you. And when you check out at the self check-out counters, they will not Thank-You or even as much as say goodbye. No respect whatsoever for Senior Citizens. It does no good to complain to the night manager because he is just as rude as some of the employees. Also, if you don't go through self checkout, your cleaning products will be put in the same bags as your meats and other foods. And if you are like me, that is not acceptable. I am seriously thinking about taking my business elsewhere where my business is appreciated.

One of the cleanest, most pleasant-looking Food City stores I've EVER seen . . . and I used to work for them. Eloise the Checkout Woman is the most positive and happy people I've ever met. Plus, VERY good selection - and minimal inventory shortages (which, in 2020, is impressive in and of itself).
