What a fantastic and friendly staff at the marina. Everyone is so helpful and all the facilities are kept clean as a whistle. We rented pontoon boats for two days and had a blast tubing with the kids and my favorite thing to do, a 7:00AM boat ride on a serene lake (see pics below). We rented 4 cabins for our family reunion and they were perfect. Well appointed and also very clean. We had a GREAT time. Highly recommend a visit.

First off, I have never stayed on a houseboat, so this review is from a first timer. We were invited to go on a 5n/6d houseboat vacation with another family, and there only ask was that we paid to fill up the gas when we returned (@600 usd and tank was 1/2 empty).Check in was weird with only a 2 hour time limit (between 4pm and 6pm). We couldn't drive the boat out the first night because of a storm, so we stayed at the Marina night one. The owners/managers were amazing and helpful.The boat is fully equipped with everything you need to cook (We were in the Southern Star). There was a microwave, coffee pot (classic not kcup style) gas grill and electric dryer (No washer). There is broom with dustpan.They provide propane gas for grill, toilet paper (no flushing ANYTHING including toilet paper in toilets), garbage bags for big cans and ittle cans. You bring everything else.I recommend bringing:Paper towels, dish towels, sponge for dishes, paper plates/bowls, coffee filters, plastic cutlery, ziplock bags, shampoo/conditioner, bath towels/beach towels (bring more than you think you will need), insulated cups (like YETI),LOTS of sunscreen and bug spray, water play items (lily pad, floaties, life jackets etc), The family that invited us brought 4 jet skis and a speedboat with tubes for tubing. SPICES (including salt/pepper), food for your stay (there is a small marina market but no close grocery stores) and coffee. The market closes at 6pm, so get your ice refill before that time.Clothing wise bring LOTS of swimwear/coverups, shorts, tanktops, a pair of pants/hoodie, water shoes that cover whole foot (my son got a hook in his foot that was removed at a different marina, he would have been fine if he had water shoes on), baseball type hat (sun is brutal), sunglasses etc. I packed way too many clothes.In this particular boat there was a drawer with cards and UNO. There are two TVs with a DVD player, there is no access to wifi or cable so we hooked up our switch so kids could play video games (bring an hdmi cord). Bring dvds if you want to watch movies, as tv is not the type you can screencast to.The generator is LOUD at night so anyone sleeping downstairs will get some noise. The two upstairs guest rooms have 0 floor space, so either pack light or be prepared to put your clothes in the living room (no big deal for us). The master bedroom has plenty of floor space, dresser and closet. Keep in mind, the master bedroom is also an entrance and exit, so if you stay in the big room, you will most likely have guests in and out all day. There is A/C and heat, the A/C was amazing 👏 The showers were spacious and had good water pressure. The water on board (400 gal ish) is drinkable.There are two water slides, a hot tub, outdoor table with chairs and several sun bathing chairs.There is also seating for 4 with table on front deck.All in all it was probably the best family vacation I have ever been on and I can't wait for next year.

Eastport is quite a trip from the main lake but we enjoyed it. The marina and cabins were phenomenal. Everything looks new. The marina and restaurant look like brand new buildings and very very nice. Excellent service and super friendly staff helped up before we hit the water. The cabins were clean and incredibly spacious. The beds were very comfy and we checked out several of them. We stayed in Hodge Podge.

A small marina with well maintained and covered boat docks. Nice people and service.2018 Edit: Another year, another great experience at the marina. We rented out the "Lakehouse" cabin and a slip at the docks, and it was an excellent few days. Five stars!2019 Edit: another year to add to an already glowing review. We rented out the same cabin and slip and had a wonderful experience. The manager at the marina went well out of his way to help us arrange a jetski from a neighboring marina while we were there, and even went so far as to guarantee the other marina that he would pay for it if we failed to show. I've never seen that kind of helpfulness before. Thanks again!

Great local marina! Knowledgeable and friendly staff, plenty of supplies for anything you need, really nice rental cottages and houseboats for rent along with the PERFECT wedding venue! They also sell kayaks (the NuCanoe line is my absolute favorite!) and have some there to rent as well!

Rented a pontoon and tube during our stay in a nearby cabin. Friendly people one and all here. Also excellent little restaurant for breakfast, lunch or dinner. We all bought East Port Marina t-shirts to remember a lovely summer holiday!

Great marina tucked away on the east side of dale hollow lake. I boated in from sunset and had a nice late lunch. Nice place. People are friendly. Store seems stocked well and the place is nice and clean.We will be coming back!

This is a Great place to rent a fishing boat or grab some food. I enjoyed the east fork which has many small water falls and has some great fishing locations. The staff is really kind and helpful. Hopefully I get another chance to visit here again in the future.

Even tho this marina is a pretty long way from the big lake parts of Dale Hillow, the marina owners and employees are the kindest most helpful people ever. Our boat was clean and functioned perfectly, we had an amazing experience and would use East Port again!

A little place with lots of different things for Lake Time activities. A store for all your camping and boating activities. A restaurant with lots of different things. The employees were friendly and very helpful. Check them out sometime soon..

Stayed at the Key West cabin, perfect for a couple or small family. Short walk to the marina and bar. Fun little cabin, was great to sleep with the windows open and wake up hearing the birds outside and nothing else.

This is a wonderful family owned marina. We rented the Freedom House boat and had a blast. This was not our first house boat rental, but certainly our favorite marina on the lake. The boat was clean, in working order and the staff was friendly and helpful. The orientation was great; they truly stressed the safety of their customers. This portion of the lake is narrower and less crowded than the northern portion of the lake. This translated to finding spots for the night easily and great calm water for water sports. It was nice to cruise on narrow water over crossing big portions of rough crowded open lake.

This was our second time renting the Southern Star houseboat from Eastport. Even though it had been 11 years since our previous trip, the boat was just as clean and well-kept as the first time we rented it. The staff were all friendly and knowledgeable and it was a pleasure renting from them. We would love to come back again!

We rented a pontoon and was told it would hold 12 and that it was a triple deck. When we got there it was a smaller single deck. Then because we had 3 children( 4 mo old, 6yr old and a 15 yr old) we were told that was too many people and we would have to shuttle small groups to where we were going. The people were very friendly till we arrived to pick it up the older man made a very rude comment about some of our groups weight. He proceeded to basically stalk us. We were directed to a small cove just outside the wake zone. It was full of mud and and sticks we decided that was not a good spot so we tied our tubes onto the boat and had 3 people in them and slowly began to move to a better cove. The rude man came flying up on us and proceeded to inform us we were breaking rules! We explained we just wanted a cove that people could tube he said he would take us to a better one and that our tubes were not for tubing but they absolutely were! They had the hard plastic tie on the bottom and handles on each side. The box they came in said for tubing. The cove he took us to was just one step away from the original it was just as bad as the first. At that point we just gave up sat on the boat swam a little we had the boat till 5:30 but by 3 we were done since we couldn't even tube because there was no decent shore line to wait on and we never got to go to the main lake because that man kept boating out checking that we stayed put! $300 and a whole day wasted on this place! They do seem to have very nice houseboats which we had talked about renting 2 next year for our annual trip to the lake but after being told we were to fat and stalked like a criminal there is no way we will ever return! We have been coming to Dale Hollow Lake for years and have never had this issue with another marina no one but them has ever counted children. And the lady who checked us in was overheard by one of our guests cussing and yelling that we were NOT gonna get on that boat with all those people! Never have I ever had such a miserable time at that lake! The cabin was BEAUTIFUL but that was even deceiving because it said on the lake and a walking trail to the lake. We were technically not on the lake it was called the Obey RIVER and the closest access to the lake was 3 miles up the road! It was really bad and I would NOT recommend wasting your money unless you get exact details about this marinas "rules". All the other staff members we interacted with were very sweet people but the older man and the older lady were just extremely rude!!

This is a wonderful place to relax and get away from it all. We have stayed here twice and both cabins were fantastic! (Note: Bring your own towels. ) The cabins are super clean and the kitchens have everything you need to prepare food.The owners are very friendly and truly want you to enjoy your stay. Both of our visits have been in the cooler months. I'm looking forward to coming back in the summer and enjoying the marina and the lake activities. Maybe we will even try out one of their awesome houseboats for a weekend.This is a great place and we love it. 5 full stars for sure!

The people that run Eastport are just as nice as could be. They really want to make sure you have a great time. They treated us so well last year we came back again this year even though we could have gone to a different place that was hours closer to home. We rented a houseboat for four days last year and it was so much fun we did a bigger houseboat for a week this year and it was still a LOT of fun. Fastest week of my life doing nothing. Highly recommend Eastport to anyone wanting to go houseboating.

The absolute best people I have ever dealt with. From start to finish they treated me as if I was a family member. These are some of the nicest people I have ever met. Thank you East Port for your kindness and class. We will definitely be back and could not recommend this marina enough!
