This store is the worst concerning deceptive practices and over charging customers. I am so tired of getting ripped off! They post signs for discounted items on shelves, but then stock items that amazingly aren't discounted above these signs and charge full price. When you question it, they'll IMMEDIATELY ask if you want a refund rather than explain anything. It's as if THEY KNOW what they are doing! Hmmm. It's NOT right. I'm done with this place. I'll go 2 miles down the road to another store.

Friendly environment most of the things I need to grab quick is easily available to me. I was hoping to score some Easter candy on sale they were all cleaned out though. At least I know all some little ones had a great Easter👍🐰

It could have been a lot better I started shopping and I needed to use the rest room and they told me it was out of order I was in there on the pass weekend and I remembered hearing them tell someone that..They told me that I could go to the gas station next door at the (C&C market) I continued to shop the self were not stocked so I left..You would think that they had plenty of time to fix the bathroom..Seeing they didn't look like they were working to hard..

I have never been to this store before but there was no toilet paper. Thankfully there were paper towels I could wipe with and put into the trash. I was meeting my daughter and she had walked through the entire store. I had noticed the bathroom was dirty and she said the whole store was too. They must keep very busy because she used the restroom barely 5 minutes before me and there was more than half a roll of toilet paper when she was in there.

Store is dirty..cluttered..stock is never available...have to ask for items to brought out of the stock room. Dead rats in floor...under coolers...employees hateful and not willing to help customers...the wait at the register is extremely long. This store is convient for us but we will start driving the extra miles.

They are not stocked well, they NEVER have but 1 register open. Its just not what it should be. The isles always have stock carts in the isles so you either can't get to product or their out of it!!

If it is the dg in alexandria tn then i just love it. They have the friendliest employees there and the store is cleaner than Gordonsville and Carthage DG by far. It is my favorite DG to go to!

Still hard to get a loca mocha java coffee drinks that are cold. A lot of times they don't even have them. Not good I started buy A lot of them elsewhere even cheaper. I know A lot of another people have also.

We’ve been going here for the last 2 years and haven’t experienced any issues. The low ratings on here are a joke, don’t listen to them. Just a bunch of ignorant hicks that were prolly drunk when they shopped.

People were nice and helpful but the 1 in Alexandria is the best and also cheaper than this 1.and Prichards well hands down. ..Best meat's price's and always friendly people.

I will not shop here ever again. One of the employees is letting a resident of Alexandria named Ursula M. Walk out the door with buggies full of merchandise in exchange for suboxone pills. It’s been reported to management but obviously nothing was done. It’s not fair to the paying customers to not be able to get the supplies we need because they have been traded for drugs. If anyone from Dollar General’s corporate office would like to contact me my email is brodgers1980@gmail.com. I just wonder why the store manager didn’t do anything about it. I guess they must be in on it too.

Seems like every dollar general i go to is the same. Slow. But this one takes the cake. The line is always very long with only one register open. There is usally at least two workers behind the counter but only one working while the other just stands around. Ridiculous.
