Best little bar in the area. Ice cold beer, great food, and a wonderful owner. A buddy of mine from Missouri and myself, from South Texas, stopped in on a bird hunting trip. The locals were awesome and the bar owner even let us feed and water our dogs out front while we sipped cold suds, munched on burgers, and shot the bull. If we find ourselves in this part of the country again we will definitely stop in.

Visited from Florida. One of the best nights ever. Ignore whatever that last review is about the food. Food was great. Great karaoke and fun. We love you Wasta Bar!!!!

Very expensive and uncooked food. I ordered 2 soups 2 burgers and fries. End up paying over 60$ for this. And I ended up throwing it away cause it was not edible. To all my “out of town” buddies be carful

Where do I even begin? Amazing food - the burgers are incredible and locally sourced. The owner is just lovely, she made us feel like old friends. The bar is clean and so cute. We had a blast and would recommend this place to anyone!!

This place is great and the owner is amazing. When we came through on our trip to Sturgis, it was 109°. She let us in before it opened and supplied us with cold waters and a/c. She even offered to let us use one of the rooms to take showers to cool off. I will stop in every time I pass through. She is a life saver!

This place is very nice and homey. Service was phenomenal by Kendall. She cooks and bartends and is great at both. Definitely great little bar. Food was great and prices very good. I will be back next time I’m rolling through.

Absolutely wonderful hole-in-the-wall. Locally sourced beef and good cold drinks after a day of being on the road. I recommend the cheeseburger with onion rings, but it seemed like all of the food was pretty good. No complaints at all.

Great little bar! The owner was kind enough to sell us a frozen pizza at 10:00 pm that we could cook in our Ab&b apartment. We would have loved to stay and chat but we were beat from a long day of rockhounding😓

Cute little hole in the wall spot that we luckily found a few blocks from where we were staying.A lot of nearby places (Wall) were closed for food in the evening.Good food, quant spot, generous pours, and a wonderful owner.Will stop back if we ever pass through the area!

We visited the Wasta bar while stranded during a snow storm. We had the best time with some of the kindest people South Dakota has to offer! A super cute spot with great music playing, ice cold beer and a good shot of whiskey!Visit while you are in the area and you will be so glad that you did!Thanks everybody!XoxoSunni and Alex

Joe, the owner, is a great host. We had wonderful conversations with him over drinks. He shared lots of local knowledge. The bar is right off I-90 between the black hills and the Badlands. Quaint and nostalgic interior. Clean and cozy. We got ourselves a T-shirt saying “Wasted in Wasta.” Kitchen is coming soon and will round out the experience of unique South Dakota hospitality. Small town atmosphere.

Wasta is a small town 12 miles west of Wall right off interstate 90.Do yourself a favor and stop at the wasta bar. The owners Peggy and Pam are 2 of the best people you'll ever meet.The locals are friendly fun people. Best burgers I've ever had.. Cold beer.So if you like being treated like family.. Wasta is the place to be.We were there a week. I could have stayed forever.Dale from Michigan..

We stopped here because we spent a night at the Redwood Motel, and the owner said we could get a bite to eat at the Wasta Bar. Well what a nice evening we unexpectedly had. There was a full bar, and a pig roast. Wasta bar had a local group playing live music outside and the atmosphere was very friendly. I believe there is limited hours so call ahead to make sure they are open.

A no frills dive that you have to stop at if you want good, cheap beer, and even better company. I bar where nobody knows your name, but will buy you a drink and talk to you for hours. Hope to make it back one day!

Worth the stop. Everytime we ride out to the black hills we make this our last stop before rapid city. Its definitely what you would call a dive bar. But we like it and those are usually the best ones to hang out at. The people are fun to talk to and always a good time there.

Stayed in Wasta for a night. Came here for dinner. We got lucky and was there for their pig roast and band. Food was amazing, people were great.
