Passing through on the way East, being so warmly welcomed at check-in by Julie was a balm to road-weary travelers. She greeted us with a warm, friendly smile, as well as being a total professional at her job. Can't remember a better way to start a stay...even for only a night.Whole place was really clean and a joy to find in the wilds of South Dakota.Room and next morning breakfast were both good.

A delightful experience. My expectations were low, but they were thoroughly exceeded. Clean, homey, with friendly staff. I found the bed very comfortable and I loved the pillows. Extra towels in the bathroom, along with nice personal care products. Breakfast area was lovely, with lots of choices. Staff was helpful and pleasant. Location is great, walking distance from restaurants and Wall Drug, and a very short drive to the Badlands park entrance. Highly recommended, I would stay here again, if I'm ever back in the area.

For most small hotels/motels, I leave a 4 star rating if they're clean. Here, I'm leaving a 5 star rating.This might be the cleanest Super 8 I've ever stayed at, and cleaner than many, more expensive hotels I've stayed at.The breakfast is VERY basic, but I usually don't care about that so much.The service was excellent and the rooms were well maintained and the beds comfortable.Noteworthy details: Unbelievably CLEAN

It’s one of the few places to stay in Wall and felt pretty clean. The one thing I hope they improve is the breakfast plates. There were nice Bob evans egg sandwiches to heat in microwaves but the hotel didn’t have any paper or microwave safe plates so people had to put the sandwiches on napkins in the microwave. Cheese got all over the microwaves.

We asked for a first floor room or near an elevator as one was handicapped. Apparently reservations was unaware there was no elevator at this location and no first floor rooms were available. They also wouldn’t refund us so we could go somewhere else. So we slowly made our way up to the far end of the hotel. In her defense she did help us carry our bags up.Walkability: No elevator

Old, out-dated rooms with filthy dirty carpeting down hallway. We had a reservation but dk there was no elevator and I'm disabled. I gave 2 stars on service only cuz the gal at desk made a change and got us in a room on ground floor.....but she wasn't happy about it. Breakfast wasn't great. I dk how this dump has decent reviews.Noteworthy details: NO ELEVATOR HERE SO IF HANDICAPPED MAKE SURE TO ASK FOR FIRST FLOOR.

Very clean . Soap shampoo coffee provide in the room. Good wifi . You have even a breakfast juice coffee and snacks for your next trip! If you have time , stop at Red Rock close to the hotel , the food is delicious.

The room was clean, nicely furnished, but VERY small, especially with a king-sized bed and two chairs and a table in it. Very cheap toilet paper, but that's not surprising for a "budget" place. The AC took a while to chill the room, but it worked well by the time we'd gone for supper and returned to our room. The minifridge worked well, and has a small freezer section that worked well. The woman at the check-in desk was nice and friendly. Not really much of a breakfast, but there's a Subway nearby that has breakfast sandwiches and a coffee place named "Stomping Grounds" that was really nice (and has an excellent cinnamon walnut muffin!). For the price, this Super 8 was good.

Must be the cleanest and most organised Super8 (or any hotel/motel ever). Warm environment and friendly staff. Great location.Only thing I missed, was a cream-cheese bagel for breakfast.

The room was clean, but extremely small. The furniture reminded me of a college dorm room being furnished with mom's basement furniture. There was 2 1980 night stands. A comfortable chair and a table that seemed like it came from an old diner and a chair it looked like it came from a doctor's office waiting room. The TV was a nice size but sat on top of a low dresser in front of the mirror. The place to hang your clothes was above the chair in the room. The bathroom was extremely small.

Without a doubt the best Super 8 in the country. Super clean and put together. Good shower. Good mattress. Great Price. TV even has HBO.The receptionist is super nice too. I was able to check in at 11:30 pm. You just have to ring the doorbell.

Good location. Beds were comfortable. No evevator to the second floor. Bathrooms are small and the tub floor was slippery, be careful stepping into and out of the shower. No laundry room. Breakfast was very disappointing. Jimmy Dean sausage muffins that you warm up in a microwave and prepackaged fruit cups. My wife got one that had an expiration date of January of 2022. We were there in June of 2022.

We had to stay 2 nights but the minute we walked in I regret booking this motel. Cancelled 2nd night right away. Yes, it's a motel but basic cleaning and hygiene is normal to be expected. The dirtiest gross motel/hotel I have ever seen. I would never stay here even if its free, there was so much trash, dust, and it clearly hasn't been cleaned (vacuum hasn't been run in a week at least) at all nor the bathroom nor the actual room, sheets and towels were dirty as well. If you are single and you don't care to spend the night in a misery place go right ahead, for a family I suggest run as far away as you can from this place. I would never return here ever....

Not good! The room had a very strong odor of some nasty chemical air freshener spray that was used to mask the smell of something else like maybe stale cigarettes or something. I asked at the desk and was told it’s the “sanitizing spray” and that I could just open the window. I did open the window but since I was on the first floor and people were walking right past my window I didn’t feel comfortable leaving it open. Besides, some people were smoking outside so, so much for fresh air.I took a much needed shower after spending the beautiful warm sunny day at the badlands. (So, amazing! I recommend the helicopter ride. It was so cool!)The shower curtain rod was only held up by a few screws. The shower curtain was hanging down several inches into the bottom of the tub and slippery (and gross) to stand on while I was showering.There was a glob of grey blond hair (I am a brunette) stuck to the inside of the shower wall.The trim molding in the bathroom was unfinished.The toilet had toilet paper in it when I got there and the toilet did not flush well. The toilet also had blue water. (From those things people put into the tank to “clean” the toilet.) I have never seen a hotel use those before.One of the electric outlets conveniently located on the bedside lamp(so you can charge your phone) doesn’t work, the other one does. So my phone charged but not my watch.After I closed the window the smell bothered me so much I could not sleep and decided to just leave at 1:00am. There was no one at the front desk at that time.When I got home and was putting my things away from my suitcase I could still smell the nasty smell of the room on all of my things. Obviously all the clothes went directly into the washing machine. I sprinkled baking soda in my suitcase and have left it outside on our porch to air out.Oh, and as I checked in I was told that the free breakfast that they advertise (they even still have a sign in the room that says when the included/ free breakfast is served) was “discontinued” so if I requested one I could get a “grab and go” bag if I wanted in the morning. Obviously the “grab and go” bag wasn’t ready when I left at 1am. I was actually curious to know what was in a “grab and go” bag. I guess I’ll never know.

Staff is very friendly and efficient. My room was spotless and the air conditioning was set at 60° and it was 106° outside. Felt so good in that room. Comfy bed and pillows. Very close to Badlands National Park and about 1:40 from Custer State park and Mount Rushmore.
