Didn't have a reservation because we planned to meet someone and then get back towards home. The weather laughed at our plans and we were able to easily get a room anyway! It was quiet, there were plenty of TV channels, the internet worked, and the room was CLEAN. Not a single solitary hair to be found anywhere.There are no USB outlets, just wall plugs, so plan accordingly.

The hotel room was clean but not as nice as I was expecting. We had a good nights sleep. Breakfast the next morning was fine. Employees were nice, just not overly friendly.

We booked our room 6+ weeks prior to our 2 night stay. We requested a 2 room suite because we had planned to travel with our kids and were quoted a certain price for this room. Upon arrival, we were charged nearly $40-50 MORE than what we were told per night. I brushed it off thinking it'd be fine, it's 2 rooms. We get to our room, it is one large room with a pull out couch. Fortunately, we only had one child come with us. I went down to the front desk and she attempted to do what she could to rectify the situation I believe since all of the rooms were booked for the weekend.Our room itself was OK, the fan setting on the heat/ac unit did not work and when the ac kicked in, it was very loud. In the shower, there are 2 units mounted to the wall, one had shampoo in it, the other was empty and it was extremely gross. The bath mat also looked dirty.On a whole different note, the party we stayed with had booked the conference room for an event (free of charge), and the hotel staff called 2 days prior to the date saying the room was unavailable for the time they wanted and would be charged $150 to use it.We have stayed in other Grand Stays before, so were very disappointed when we arrived/stayed. We will not be staying here again.

We had a great time at the GrandStay. The staff were great, and we enjoyed our time there.Rooms: The room was comfortable, and we enjoyed our time there.Nearby activities: There is a nice restaurant just across the parking lot.Food & drinks: There is a little bar in the hotel, and the hot continental breakfast is good.

The location was easy to get to and literally minutes from Sioux Falls.The room was clean, the staff were friendly and accommodated my preferred payment method.Breakfast was included with the room cost and was quick and convenient.I would stay here again!Nearby restaurant was across the lot and was okay.

The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows. We were told continental breakfast but was pleasantly surprised to find hot eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, and waffles. There was also a good assortment of granola bars, cereal, begals, and other food.All-in-all, a great stay.

The hotel is nice but seemed overpriced in my opinion. For me, $180 is a lot for a hotel. I expected nicer rooms. The king bed was very comfortable. The hotel general areas were very clean and nice up-kept. It just didn't transfer to the room as I expected from check in and walking to the room. Shower water pressure was poor. Fridge froze our drinks at a thermostat setting of 4 on a range of 1-6, inconvenient & annoying but not the end of the world. Breakfast was good other than the juice machine was out of order.Good, just overpriced for me.

We were so thankful to find a room here at what felt like the last minute after leaving a different hotel that we'd planned to stay at turned out to be a nightmare.The staff at Grandstay were amazing and kind. The room was very clean and comfortable! Breakfast was pretty good too! We will definitely stay here again when we are in Souix Falls!

My husband and I have stayed in hotels throughout the country. The both of us were very pleased with our stay here. The rooms were quiet and cozy.Water was hot, there was an oversized mini fridge, microwave and a keurig in the room.Has a bar with wine and beer. (no hard liquor) Hot tub and pool was nice as well.Eric checked us in early and was extremely personable. For the price, this place was great! No complaints here..Would absolutely stay here again if in the area.

Nice newer hotel. Service isn't customer friendly as you need to always need to use the phone to get someone to come to the front desk. The girl that came to the desk had her mouth full of food and spent her time chewing like a horse while helping. Tip: Finish your food before coming to the desk.Rooms: Nice room with a nice bathroom.

Overall very quality clean rooms. With nice decor and comfortable rooms. In fact on the trip I opted to sleep in the bathtub because the people I was traveling with for a school trip would not go to sleep. I went to the front desk and asked for a queen comforter and a pillow. The lady was accommodating and I slept perfectly. The pool was amazing too. Very large, and not too much chlorine. Breakfast in the morning was nice.The design of the hotel was very nice as well, and I appreciate interior design.

Highly unprofessional and poor management, not to mention poor customer experience. The issues below have not been addressed and or resolved. No guest should have to be put through the poor hospitality and rude behavior of staff.Booked a block of rooms for my wedding on September 2023. Have now had multiple guests contact me directly stating that the grandstay hotel in Tea, SD had no reservations blocked under the wedding last name. Called the Grandstay hotel in Tea, SD on July 31st at 1:51pm to see why guests for the wedding were unable to book. Spoke with an Emily who stated that the spelling of the last name was incorrect and that she corrected it. Emily also stated that all rooms for our wedding block were booked for the first night and there were 13 room’s remaining for the second night. Emily went on to state that Sadie would be in contact with me that same week to help resolve the issue more and to compensate an extra $30 off wedding guest rooms due to the major inconvenience and error on the grandstay hotel.Furthermore, did not hear back from Sadie at all the week of July 31st. Attempted to call the hotel multiple times that week with no answer. Then called the hotel again on August 8th at 12:42pm which once again did not go through and got a busy tone. Called again at 12:52pm and was informed that Sadie had to go to the post office and would call back. Finally at 1:05pm received a phone call back from Sadie who went on to state that she didn’t see anything wrong with the wedding block and that no guests have booked in the blocked. Upon further conversation some guests who have booked at the hotel were booked outside of the block which were moved into the block.Sadie went on to state that all of the wedding block was still open when on the conversation with Emily she noted that all of the wedding block was full on Friday and there were 13 rooms remaining on Saturday. When asking Sadie about the $30 off compensation for the wedding guest rooms that was promised by Emily due to the major inconvenience and poor customer experience in attempting to book with the Grandstay hotel in Tea,SD for a wedding.Sadie become hostile/argumentative and hung up on the guest. Attempted to reach the hotel again only to revive a busy tone and to be hung up on.

We spent 3 nights at the hotel. Great location, good breakfast, friendly sraff, and accomodating. A few family members required special accomodations and the staff went out of their way to meet their needs. THANK YOUNoteworthy details: We could not have had a better time with 13 siblings and spouses. The Grandstay in Tea helped us to be together to make great memories. From check in to check out the staff was friendly, helpful, and concerned about us. We felt like we were home. We relaxed and had a great time.
