The store was very clean, well organized and the staff were very friendly..... but... very over priced for 2nd hand and the selection was very slim...i think it shows how the economy is doing, looks like not as many are donating these days...

I’ve never felt so welcomed at a Goodwill before! The assistant manager, Buffy, was spectacular! She was always busy doing something around the store, but never hesitated to help me find something. She also treated my children very well and showed them where the toys were. Thanks Buffy! I wish all Goodwill employees were like you ☺️

Awesome location. Always clean, organized, and stocked. Best of all, the staff there is so awesome. From the manager on down, I’m always greeted with a smile and talked to like a valued customer. Pretty hard to come by these days!

It is always nicely organized and not too cluttered here. Stuff on the shelves/racks are usually clean too.The workers are always very nice, and offer help when they are not busy.

Good morning, I want to share my experience shopping here at Goodwill yesterday December 16, 2021. I was over charged (well over $40.00) by this young man that was working the till. As I was looking at my receipt from that transaction mostly all the items' purchased prices were fabricated to a higher price. Example: I had a couple items for $0.50. There is NO $0.50 item rung up. He seemed "REALLY" (I'm not being drastically sarcastic) Like he used body language when he told my total and I should've questioned it then bc I added up everything in my head minus the bins...but I paid, walked outside, looked over my receipt that's when I noticed all the fabricated prices. I knew the prices of my items and noticed only a few things were true to the price it was labeled.I walked back in, He called up some lady who seemed more interested in getting other people rung up. As she was doing the return for my full purchase, I asked her which way for my (strip) card to be scanned so it will go back on my card. She just motioned and said right there. It didn't give me any comfort that is was going back on my card bc she had ZERO interest and was in a hurry. It didn't even give me a transactional notice it was complete or accepted.I called my card (again) this morning and the lady whom answered said she doesn'tsee any pending (return) transaction in that amount at all, only 2 purchases. So I have my receipts from all transactions. What is my next step. And I advise you all to WATCH your receipts especially if your from out of town and living on a budget.Also want to add...When the lady came up the Man said this machine is acting up again. I honestly don't see that as true bc if you're scanning items in then punching in others...I see it as intentional to deceive us PAYING customers especially when you're working the till and some Xmas bags (6 individual bags) that are marked $.50 a piece rings up at $6.00 a piece with a total of $36.00 ?You can not tell me the person whose body language was that of a nervous wreck (thief), yes I said thief bc that was money "taken" from my credit card, from my budget, from me and my children's finances did not know that was wrong!!!!

Firs off it’s really cramped. Second I really hate that the decor and collectibles are above the clothes it makes it really hard to browse when you have a labyrinth of people only interested in clothes, and the isles are so narrow they’re easily blocked by just 1 person. Third some of the cashiers are really rude! If you are that miserable find a different job, and they won’t wrap anything all my glass items just stuck in a bag clanking together. This place is brand new and off to a bad start in my opinion.

I cannot believe anyone would give this store one star! They obviously don’t thrift shop anywhere else! This Goodwill is exceptional for Rapid City. In fact., I’d go as far as to say it’s the best thrift store in Rapid. Their prices are a little steep compared to other donation stores but u can still find some really good deals. It’s clean, organized, smells good, and they don’t mark up every name brand item like Salvation Army does. I hope they never do or I’ll shop there less. I hardly go to Salvation Army anymore because they make me so mad with their marking up donated goods so that low income people can’t afford to buy them. Don’t change Goodwill on Timmons! (Unless u want to lower your prices a little or have sales😊)

Prices at goodwill have gotten to be ridiculous. They get their items for FREE and then put outrageous price tags on them. You are supposed to be a THRIFT store.

My favorite goodwill when I was visiting. New merchandis being put out all day. I could go a couple times a day and find new stuff. Very friendly staff every time I went in.
