Brenda is so sweet and she scored every single detail I told her to do to my dog. Don’t go to 4paws if you have a small dog. I told them to do the same thing I told Brenda and they butchered my dogs hair!! Go to classy canine and ask for Brenda! She will make your dog feel comfortable and confident! I mean look at my pup’s smile 😍 The transformation is crazy but my God does Brenda do a good job! 👏🏽

I have been going to Classy Canine for about 3 years now once a month for my Shih tzu and a couple times a year for my Australian Cattle Dog and Sharpei. Every time they have come out prettier than the last. My Shih tzu always gets the most pampering and gets the cutest bows or bandanas after each visit. Coming out of the back room she’s always so happy and runs up to me with the biggest smile. They’re super flexible and have even extended the time when I was late to an appointment when I had problems getting there. (Call ahead if you’re late so they can give you some grace, don’t just show up late and expect them to take your dog.) My dogs love all of the workers and all of the workers are in love with my pups as well. Great service every single time. They even have a free treat available for your pup after their appointment!

Felicia has done an outstanding job taking care of our nervous Zuzu. She's patient and kind, making sure Zuzu is comfortable and has plenty of breaks. Zuzu comes home happy and looking great every time.

My wife and I were in search of another dog groomer after having a terrible experience at another pet groomer, and honestly we were a little skeptical at first if this place would be the right fit for us. Out of our two Teacup Yorkies, one is a puppy mill dog and has had trouble being kenneled up and will end up throwing up and continue to bark and voice her concern after all the anxiety she is experiencing being separated for our other dog, unlike at home where they are always together. At Classy Canine we voiced our concerns and they said “Not a problem” and then proceeded to bring out a small play pen for our two dogs to stay in together and keep each other company. They can now see each other being groomed and no longer feel the anxiety of being separated. The workers are so amazing and accommodating to our needs, and honestly just really enjoy their jobs and love dogs! Can say enough good things about this business! We are regular customers now!

We have been very happy with Classy Canine for our two little pups! Neither of them love going to the groomer, so I worry. The staff seems to be very patient because I get a good report each time and the pups always look great! I’ve been to groomers in the past where I felt uneasy leaving my pups behind, but I know they’re in good hands at Classy Canine.

Classy Canine is very pet friendly! Most reasonable price in Rapid City and best haircuts! We tried other groomers in Rapid City, expensive and hack jobs! We took our elderly dogs, fluffy and snickers, to Classy Canine and appreciate the love and care they received! Now, we take our daughters dog, Molly! I would definitely recommend them to anyone!

I’ve taken my dog here for over a year now and my puppy has been here 3 times. Megan always does a fantastic job and many of the other ladies have clipped their nails. I’ve never had a single issue. My dogs both have high maintenance coats (poodle mix-60lbs & and a poodle-30lbs) and my mix often has a bit of matting around his collar/harness but Megan always makes him look amazing even when I think there is no possible way to get him back without a choppy cut. The price is also very reasonable. Lower than what I expected.

Brenda always does a fabulous job grooming my dog!I don’t prefer Hammer to have a traditional poodle look and after talking with her about it, this is what we’ve come up with and it’s perfect for him! I’ve been to three places to get him groomed, and this is by far the best one I’ve been to!Staff is knowledgeable, professional, and they do their best to work with you to get your pet looking and feeling great.Highly recommended!

Just moved to town and looked up several groomers. Classy Canines had great ratings so I gave them a call. My Zuzu needed grooming badly since it had been a couple of months. They got me in the next morning!Our last groomer (another state) had not treated Zuzu well, for she tried to escape when I dropped her off. Classy Canines said Z fought some, but with repeated visits to them Z would be more comfortable and willing to be groomed. 💕 Our next appointment is already booked. Thank you for loving my fur baby and helping her feel cherished.

Brenda has been grooming Shisha for 10+ years. I wouldn’t take her anywhere else. Brenda cares and always asks how I want her trimmed and does a wonderful job. Classy Canine is well located and the staff is very friendly. I appreciate the appointment reminder texts.

They were recommended by a friend. They are always very nice, and good to the animals. I like that the grooming area is where you can see from the lobby, and not behind closed doors.

The ladies at classy canine, were so welcoming to both my dog (Aspen) and I! Aspen has anxiety which made me nervous for her FIRST grooming appointment. Megan took the time to show me around and gave me reassure that Aspen would do just fine, by explaining what/ how they were going to go about her cleaning. These lady’s took amazing care of Aspen and she looks absolutely beautiful!💕

My Shetland sheepdogs have been here a couple times now, and they both come out looking brand new when they are finished with their groom! The staff is nice and treat us and our boys very well. We will continue to come here regularly. Highly recommend!

Brenda is excellent. She used to be at the Brass Hydrant. She is so good we followed her across town to the Classy Canine. She is kind and patient with our dogs. And we ask for a wide range of cuts for our Pomeranian - from a trim, to a short cut for summer, to silly cuts like a lion cut or a Mohawk. Every time Brenda does an excellent job.

I don't like to give negative reviews, but this is one I will do. My dog (4# toy poodle) was scheduled at 9 am. I brought her in at 9 am. Asked her groomer if she was getting right in because I didn't want my elderly dog in a cage for HOURS stressing, and she said uhhh hmmmm. Finally at 1:30 in the afternoon I called to see if she was done yet and that I was on my way (I had to leave town and wouldn't be back by the time they closed at 3 - I thought she was there early enough to where I wouldn't have to worry about my schedule). They said "ohhhh give me 5 minutes".I got there 10 minutes later and NOTHING was done yet! No bath, cut, toenails, ears....nothing! I had to take my dog the way she was and call another groomer.Word of advice, if you can't do the job you said you would, let people know they can pick up their pet and re-schedule!!! At the VERY least, apologize!We will not be back or refer anyone to you.

I brought our Malamute to Classy Canine for her first grooming today. First thing I noticed was the cleanliness of the business. I talked with the staff there and they expressed confidence in grooming our dog. Our dog does not like to be groomed and she was a mess. I have had some difficulty finding a good groomer and have had some negative experiences as well as our dog. That changed after today. They did an excellent job with our dog and she was stunning to see when they were done. I highly recommend this grooming business for your pet. They get all 5 stars because they meet all the standards. Very pleased with their service, professionalism, confidence and friendly staff. No need to look any further.

On the road with our pup, and she needed some cleaning and grooming. Called CC and they wedged me in to their schedule. We are from So/Cal and we are used to good work, CC did not disappoint. What a nice clean grooming salon! All the groomers are very friendly and they really love their job. Our long time groomer, Brenda Ireland is working there now and I couldn't be happier with her. She always makes McDuff look beautiful and he's happy to go there. They will do walk-ins and Saturday appts. Recommend taking your furry babies to Brenda.

A friend recommended me to Classy Canines and I’ve been going for almost 2 years now. They are amazing! I have both long haired dogs with complicated coats that can easily get matted. They make sure they are fully deshedded and tangle free every time. My younger puppy is nervous meeting new people and every time we take them they get so excited and forget I’m even there! They love to see the staff and the staff love them like they are they own. Any time I take my two girls there I’m at ease and never worry. Amazing!

Brenda at Classy Canine is the BEST groomer for cats I've ever had. She is so patient and kind to him, even when he isn't on his best behavior. Going so far as to rescheduling for another day, instead of refusing to groom him. And, having him groomed with Brenda is much healthier than having him put under anesthesia every time he needs to be brushed out. I recommend Brenda for all your feline fur babies grooming needs...she's the BEST!

We are full time RV travelers but our Yorkie needed to be groomed. I choose this place because of the reviews. I will say I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED!! Alisa did awesome with our Milo. He gets very scared and upset when he gets groomed because he never gets groomed by the same person twice. She definitely took care of him. Great place to go. Thank you for taking care of him.

We have a very shy doodle and have had struggles having her warm up to a groomer and enjoy being dropped off… until we tried Classy Canine. Emmy now gets excited as soon as we get to the parking lot there. Their scheduling with auto reminders and courtesy calls ensure we never miss an appointment. They also only see so many dogs in a day to ensure our pup gets the full attention she needs. Definitely recommend!

Friendly and welcoming environment! The groomers love my dog and are always excited about their interactions with him! He comes back looking so fresh and perfectly groomed! He has a thick coat and takes a lot of time to get him looking his best, they take the time and attention to detail. Definitely recommend!

Megan takes care of both of our fur babies and does a fantastic job!! Their grooming is always top notch and she pays attention to little things she sees and is quick to ask if she notices something that may not have been present previously (our eldest is 13 and is getting more skin growths everyday). All the ladies are fantastic and friendly - I highly recommend them for your fur baby!!
