Adequate space between sites. Trash can in front of sites I believe are for your bag trash as every site has one. Ours was never emptied in 4 days. This may be why they have a huge fly problem. Cans were full of flies and so were sites. We came in with a 7 day booking only to find someone in our spot who booked another night the day before and they never updated the info in the computer so had to stay in another spot until our waterfront one opened. I hate to move! Walking path is nice along the road and about a mile each way. We also ate at the resort it was ok. Sewer connections don’t have threads, and have a rock to hold your elbow in. That also smells as not a solid connection. The two sites we were on were not level and needed 2 inches on one side and full down on the tongue so make sure you have levelers. We ended up leaving 3 days early. Staff was nice but their computer system was slow and with someone in our spot the whole check process was about 45 mins. Playground slide was basically folded in half as a heavy individual went down it.

Beautiful campground on the Missouri River. Laundry, bathrooms, 2 showers, access to hotel pool, hot tub, sauna volleyball, horseshoes, playground. Each site has nice grass, fire rings, electric, waste, picnic table, marina access, day cabins for extra guest, grocery store within one mile, full restaurant at hotel. So quiet here while we've been here (during the week). Highly recommend!

Nice location, but much better campgrounds in the area. The unisex bathroom in the campground didn’t have a trash can and wasn’t cleaned at all the three days we were there. The shower facilities were dark, dirty, and stinky, and there wasn’t any toilet paper. The trash can bungeed to the pole at our site smelled like it had a rotting carcass in it. The site we were assigned (#38) was on quite an incline. Had to use three 4x6s and my tongue jack was at nearly full extension to get it level. Never had the tongue of my trailer 4ft in the air before. Mostly full-time residents at this place. Didn’t use hotels facilities. Friendly and helpful staff. It’d be nice if they used a blower to clear off the pads after mowing.

Our family had a wonderful experience here! We rented one of the cabins on the lake and for $55 a night it is the way to go. It slept 4, had AC, and a little fridge. The view was beautiful! Everyone on sight was very helpful and friendly!

Love camping here, clean, gold star management Bill & Tammy are awesome.Boating on the river, weekend bands at Tiki Bar. Book early in April to obtain a spot for summer fun.

Nice rest stop to get out and stretch your legs. Good view of river below. Had a nice hiking trail out back.

We stopped for one night. Great view of the river! Campsites need to be more level and the gal didn't give us our arrp discount. Otherwise it would have been a 5 star.

Overpriced. Site not level. Young guy doing check in said it would be $50 a night… they charged me $60. He knew nothing about the campground or the area, and didn’t even have a campground map available. This is not a place for traveling campers.

The only thing wrong was the bathroom facilities out in the back camping area were out but when they get them fixed it will be a hundred percent perfect. The river and the scenery and the people was fantastic.

Great location! This was a last minute change in our road trip plans.We only needed one night and they fit us in. Our stay included amenities to the resort next door which also has a restaurant whose food was delicious and excellent wait staff. Bathrooms were toilets and showers that you expect to find camping but decent.

Nice campground along the Missouri River. Campers can use the resort amenities if you choose to. I would have given it 5 stars but our site had several ruts making it a little difficult to level. Also there was trash left behind by the previous people who occupied the site. A tent peg was left driven in the ground and we removed it not wanting to damage a tire. A rubber mallet head was also left which we did run over. All in all a good find.

Beautiful property! We stopped in just for an overnight and will definitely come back. Facilities were nice and clean. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. My only complaint is the tent sites were a bit small and were not available on the river. However the cabins looked brand new and were right on the river. Plus the bonus is that you can use all the facilities of the hotel including indoor pool, hot tub, sauna, gym, and the bar. Definitely come here!

Stayed at the cabins in the campground for a family gathering. Cabins were great. Heat and air as well as a fridge. Beds were very comfortable. Small deck with a table and two chairs. Great view of the river. Fire pits did not have a grill top though. Bathrooms were adequate but not extravagant. Nice hot water. Swam in the pool and used the hot tub. Hard to beat this place. Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful Missouri River location, sites were roomy. Had all we needed. Showers were hot and clean. Sunrise over the river was fantastic.

No bathrooms in the cabins for one thing, only one bathroom for the campground area up the hill away from the cabins. 98%of RV campers have a restroom in their own campers. No coffee pot just a small fridge and a broom. No Security we had our very nice cooler stolen last night from right next to our cabin. I hope they enjoy the few beers and ice but they won't know what to do with the Calf Nuts that I had stored in the cooler. So I am not impressed with this place at all..!!

Grounds look a little shabby. Lawn needs water. Mostly long term renters. Large spaces easy access. Use of facilities at adjacent hotel. The woman at the desk was not accommodating. We told them when we made reservations we were AARP members, but we forgot to show them our card on check in. We went back the next AM to get our 10% discount and she said it was too late she had already closed or the books. Now we paid for 3 nights, she couldn't even correct the two remaining nights.No poop bags for dogs. This is the first place we stayed without that simple basic necessity

I'm only making a review because of all the bad reviews here. I was here in August, 2016, and had a wonderful time. We were driving from Badlands to Minneapolis, and realized it was getting dark and didn't feel like driving all night. We wandered off 90 a little bit and found this place in time to set up our tent and have a glass of wine by the river before the sun went down. In the morning, we took a swim in the pool at the adjacent hotel, and went off on our way. It's one of my favorite memories of a 5 day road trip.

Beautiful views from the campground of the Missouri River and hills. Access to the indoor pool and lodge. I would definitely stay again. Full hook-up with cable & wifi at reasonable price. Used the cable, but not the wifi.

We had trouble with the self leveling mechanism on our coach and Sandra was so helpful with making phone calls, loaning us tools and she kept checking in on us! very courteous and a wonderful wonderful place very clean! Thank you Sandra!

We stopped Sunday afternoon after camping all weekend in the badlands. Hoping to use the picnic area to grill up lunch for two small boys, the woman working was very short with us that people PAY to use the space. And when we offered to pay to be able to stop for lunch she was very rude and denied us! Becausr there was a hufe line for people wabting a campsite in a sunday before tge summer season even begins!? No. Tge was MAYBE a handful of campers and several dozen spits available. Obviously they don't want our business in the future. Kindness goes along way. Apparently she didn't think so. It's sad my six year has better manners than a grown woman.

We have stayed there a handful of times and had similar experiences with the office manager. She is always rude and unfriendly. Very uninviting. Went to buy some wood even though we were not staying there this year and she said it was for guests only. Hey news flash lady, a sale is a sale. Nice campground, crappy service. Don't go.

We have used this campground for many years.Last year,the staff wasn't what we had hoped for,considering the previous campground hosts had been amazing.However,they have new staff this year and are back to making camping wonderful again. I highly recommend this campground,reasonably priced,clean and welcoming.
